It definitely feels like Vivio improved in her present form compared to when she fought Rinne before. I was impressed by the way she fought against Rinne despite pushed into a corner at one point.

Not sure how this will end but we may get a winner or lose or perhaps even a draw or something else that no one anticipates. I don't think Rinne was fighting at her full strength though so perhaps she may also be the one to surprise all of us.

Seems like she's fighting at what she perceives as her full force but Vivio will push her into unlocking more of her yet unexplored potential. Rinne and Fuuka are freakishly powerful in the sense they're covering the gap that took other girls a life of training in just a couple years.

Rinne did manage to corner her once by seemingly tapping into "rage mode" so it's possible she can do it again. The dangerous part is when she charges in so fast and aggressively that Vivio can't get hard enough strikes in to stop the onslaught.

It's a unsteady fight in a lot of ways. Rinne is taking a ton of hits and while she has increased her durability...that's adding up. Leading to that first down. Rinne has good durability but her defense isn't great. Just waltzing into the counter territory of Vivio. And now that she's behind she'll have to stay on the attack. Which normally would tip to Vivio's favor unless she gets grabbed again.

Rinne sure can tank, but some people forget that so can Vivio. If you're read ViviD, you know the one thing Nove keep complaining about is how Vivio keep tanking powerful hits. She's not supposed to, but she can.

Personally I want Vivio to beat the stuffing out of Rinne, if only to knock her down a few pegs and properly befriend her. Her final speech at the end of the episode made her sound a lot like her mom.

That said, I also don't really like Fuuka to win if she ends up fighting one of the main cast. Sure she's good, but she's only been at it for a while, nowhere near close or realistically capable of defeating her gym buddies. At the very least she sure as hell shouldn't be able to beat Einheart or Vivio.

Dangerously, yes. If she really wanted to tank hits as hard as Rinne can throw them, she'd have to abuse the pinpoint defense function on her Sacred Defender again, and that would be absolute suicide against someone like Rinne. If she failed to catch even a single one, she'd be killed instantly.

Sieg got mentioned this ep, and we saw moments of her in the OP....but when will we actually see her in action!!! Please! At least show us a U19 match of Sieg as a breather at least once!!! We barely saw her in Vivid either.

I'd also like Vivio to win. It's not a proper befriending if it comes from an old friend like Fuuka.

Could we call it a proper Re-friending though?

You have never really been friends until one of you gets beaten within an inch of your life.

Kind of expecting Rinne to lose to Vivio but do something right after the match in a rage.

1. Nanoha raised Vivio well.
2. Fuuka betrayed Einhart in the pv.

Rinne doesn't seem to realize her true potential since she seems to have hardly have been pushed in a fight. I mean this in power, ability, and adapting to situations in the arena. As for Vivio didn't realize she wasn't good at taking hits like a tank, I guess that makes her more like her mother.

Anyway based on previous Nanoha seasons I think that there is going to be a twist next episode. I hope so at least. Such as after nanoha and fates duel Precia got involved.

Well Rinne was her friend before Einhart became her teacher so....On the positive side gave her higher ratings on coolness and strength .

Ahh... good thing they have Ix on their side, guess now we don't to worry about whatever damage Rinne is capable of dishing out.

Still see Vivio winning this one as unlikely, Rinne's ice might be melting under Vivio's warmth though, that cliche sports anime line of asking if she enjoyed the sport was on point there....

I honestly don't want Vivio to win. I mean, it'd certainly be a change from the usual formula, but I'm more interested in seeing Rinne and Fuuka throw down in the ring to settle their differences.

Rinne agreed to fight Fuuka if she lost to anyone from nakajima Gym (in episode 6 Jill talk with her about Nove' proposal, where she asked Rinne to have a fight with Fuka if she lost to Miura. Rinne nonchalantly said that she will battle with Fuka if she lost to anyone from nakajima Gym)
