Brilliant episode, too good for words to describe. But I also wonder, am I the only one here who thinks the face of Arc Gurren-Lagann looks a little like Eva-02's?

This was a cosmic event out of biblical proportions and just to remark that we aren't still into the final battle.

I can say that they merged the best of the battle sequences animation from episode 5, 8, and 15 to upgrade them all into the final result...

The Arc-Gurren Lagann
Ok. Likely many of us see it coming or expected that Simon would fuse the Gurren-Lagann with the ship to produce the giant mecha.

But the graphics, colors, and fireworks were jawbreaking stunning.

This is what Gurren-Lagann intends to its audience. To breakthrough the conventional and deliver something stunning that certainly would sure make our eyes to spin.

Many other fabulous twists.

The moon as well many of you would have had suspected to be a sort of machine or Ganmen, which proved true by the latter half of the episode.

And what a few might have realized immediately after I did is that the Cathedral Terra battleship likely must be the same ship that appeared at the prologue to the start of the very first episode.

With the recent events unfolding then I am certain that Gurren-Lagann is going to head for a direction similar to the first Gunbuster series.

Spoiler:

The brigade is going to break in through the Anti-Spiral space to teach not to mess with human EVER.

And yes, Simon-Viral combination magnificiently cleaned trash.

More thing I want to know is why Nia was chosen to act on behalf of the Anti-Spirals spokesperson?; what are the Anti-Spirals?; and whose going to make it through at the end?

I can safely confess that we're now entering to the last phase of the final arc.

My favorite scene was the spiral space tunnel where Gurren-Lagann crossed seemingly dimensional in order to the to the power source of the Cathedral.

All I can say is, as a pro-Nia advocator, is the scene where Simon says that almost zero is as good as one hundred percent to him was absolutely awesome. The instant I heard Nia's old voice I was all happy and giddy inside. I love this show!

Other than that lil bit I thought it was awesome..... I am Pro-Nia, and i can't wait for her to be saved..... also I think if Nia dies, Simon will die also..... I think Simon will die to begin with it's just a matter of if he bring's Nia and humanity with him.


I vote for brining humanity with him. I say put spirals right back into the ground... would be the ultimate surprise ending that no one would expect and it follows right along with Gainax's history of bad ending's

This is crazy. A human & beastman piloting the GL(2 Ganmens), which is piloting another Ganmen(Arc-GL).

That must take a lot of skill.

OMFG, that was AWESOME, Ark-Gurran-Laggan was spectacular, I had been watching this show for a while, but just recently started downloading it again, the amount of awesomness packed in this episode is astounding

Was I the only one who's heart melted when Nia went from SPIRAL ZOMG1111 to the classic Nia? Her sad face when she was asking Simon if he'd come to get her was heartbreaking.
