Well my take on Dynamis' words about how Negi's actions are just playing into their hands is just because if he goes berserk and doesn't complete his plans then of course it would be Fate's win though I question whether or not even Fate could stand against this current Negi. If Shiori's attempt fails the only person I see stopping Negi would be the real Asuna.

I like how his ME form has changed again now with the shoulders. Honestly the more I see of Negi, the more I wonder if he really will take that step and become as eva put it, a higher being. He is definitely closer to that step now.

Chapter was epic though, black lightning lol thats pretty intense. Wonder if theres an extra speed bonus from black lightning, the dark side always has a bonus, like cookies.

Honestly, I don't even think real Asuna would stand much of a chance. She could cancel his magic sure, but when he comes all "rawr" at her with his fists and feet flying at ridiculous speed...well, we saw what normal non-ME Negi did to her if he even got halfway serious about it.

Well, that was a close brush with death...literally.

Negi manages to change his hand's trajectory just in time, but the trip back to reality and another Chisame!Slap made him kind of catatonic (heck, he even has a crack on his right cheek, which suggests partial petrification?).

Dynamis tries to gloat while being in an equally sorry state but Ku-Fei's staff is there to remind him that silence is, as everybody else knows, golden.

This was like the whole Kurt Godel showdown, except the way the girls stopped Negi was even more epic, Chisame was right in his face and got scratched and didn't even flinch.

Still, Negi will probably have to find some way to keep this dark side under control in order to have any chance to defeat Fate.

Since it was a joke, I'm not gonna get too far into the Negima character vs. DBZ character discussion but suffice it to say, DBZ characters are probably MUCH more powerful on the whole. I doubt Fate would even be able to put up much of a fight against guys like Goku and Vegeta by the Majin Buu arc.

When Negima characters could destroy the entire planet on a whim in one shot (Goku can, one Kamehameha would do it and that's Cell arc Goku, they literally say this in the manga), maybe I'll give it to them. There are some characters in Negima I'd say are DBZ-level (like Evangeline) but most of them ain't even close.

That said, Negima characters power-wise are some of the strongest dudes they've had in shounen recently.
