But hey, i was surprised, that he was actually saying a (ok a half name, since Nagi interrupted) name. In most other animes, i have seen, the guy allways said something like "ehm.. ehm ..eto...".

Nagi perhaps just did not want any trouble... She is thinking about the future, may be...

Honestly, I don't even see Zange as having entered the race at all yet. Sure he gets turned on when she pounces on him, but there hasn't been any emotional connection from his end.

Until he gets a few tender moments with Hakua or something, there's really no plausible way any type of romance is going to develop there.

Agree. So far, she only appears to be a 'trigger character' to get both Nagi and Tsugumi worked up about something.

In a way, I feel that Zange is actually helping Tsugumi realize her true feelings for Jin.

Actually I am pretty confused about the "semeuke" part of the story.

So who is it that the others perceive as the "seme" and "uke"? Jin is the uke, Daitetsu is the seme, or vice versa?

Unless they decide to take a different route from manga, it only means:

Tsugumi has no chance at all.

If it follows manga's route, then Jin chooses Tsugumi because 1) she is the one responsible for his trouble; 2) she is his child-hood friend; 3) he has no idea what Zange is up to.

By the way, I support TsugumiXJin. But it's not because I like her, only because she is the only one I don't really care.

When the show's title is a reference to the other girl who's also the main character of the show and star of the OP, then the osananajimi has some pretty long odds. That said, I think Tsugumi has a pretty decent shot in this story based on the developments so far.

Rewatching this episode, my favourite part is definitely the scene where Tsugumi picks up the manga, her ambivalent reactions are priceless. I like how she starts slapping the manga as if to punish it for being naughty, that was a nice touch.

anyway, really loved this episode. It's a shame Nagi interrupted Jin when he was about to say Tsugumi's name, grrrrrr.. however, perhaps that indicates something to expect in the near future as well.
