I've made a characters/seiyuus page for the show, with pics of the six main characters and of their seiyuus, with info about each seiyuu. And what a cast! Hanae Natsuki and Taneda Risa are perfect for the leads, and they are backed up by Sakura Ayane, Ousaka Ryouta, Kaji Yuuki, and Hayami Saori. Can't do much better than that. Taneda, Sakura, and Hayamin are three of my absolute favorite voice actors. Ousaka is always good, and Kaji-san is really showing recently why his talent and range are so respected.

I just did and it didn't really show anything aside from some cat scenes, gorgeous scenery and the main girl saying Nyaa. Are you sure you didn't mix up the first PV with the second one?
First PV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcnuUOd0LKM Second PV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnE2sYAJaHY And in case your interested this one is the third: Third PV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfzOUsy-hKI |

That was an excellent episode, probably the best one (imo even surpassed PP2) for Thursday, today.
The animation was extremely well done with the colorful artwork and movements. The energy was good and it had spirit when it came with the character interactions. The comedy was fun too. Anyways, the bonus theme is the music as it influences the main characters greatly. Definitely looking forward to more!

Just loved this serie, the op was amazing (waiting for the full version), the characters were sweets and their interaction was really fluent, the history seems really interesting (havent saw a anime that focuses on music), the background were really well done and the music through all the episode was charming
Fell a bit sad that the friend may loose his chance with girl since the mc now likes her, and she seems that liked him too 10/10

Definitely a strong start to the show. It has nice brightness to it and hey a show based around music is a positive. Though was more of a brass instrument person .
I like the twist on the mother. I completely thought it was going to be something like him giving up on music because of sadness over his mother dying. Instead it was her being alive that really caused a lot of harm there. Because she was dying she tried to make her son live her ideal life in her place. Could pretty well get away with being a horrible person because she was dying. No wonder the guy is so conflicted about the piano. Kind of feel for the childhood friend here since she's clearly going get nowhere. Despite trying she just couldn't be the one to shake him out of his current state. Though it's more like this girl beat him out of his current state . Such is how it goes though. Kaori should have a big impact. Interesting balance out of this 4. Two sports focused and two music focused.

Loved that. It felt a bit simpler and more normal to me than the manga, but overall I thought it gave us strong pictures of the same characters, and feelings for them.
Hanae Natsuki and Taneda Risa are just as perfect for these roles as I expected. Sakura Ayane really put Tsubaki across, too. I liked both the OP and ED songs. It was a bit shocking to realize that having a male and female voice singing together (as in the OP) is so uncommon. I liked the sound, and the feeling. Characters/seiyuus page here.
