"Ready Steady Go!" from the first FMA series. My most favorite first experiance with J-Rock.

Has a good beat, tells the story of the anime very well, and the scenes were perfectly executed.

Binetsu S.O.S. from iDOLM@STER: Xenoglossia gets my vote for favorite opening song of all time, and if you don't believe me it's been that way since I watched this a few years ago. Perhaps it will never surpass TANK or Cruel Angel's Thesis, but Binetsu S.O.S. has that feeling of combining epic, mecha and moe' all in one, a rare fusion of conflicting tones if you ask me.

Meanwhile, the ending spot is taken by the song used for Living for the day after tomorrow, Sweet Home Song. I have less words for this since it's somewhat recent, but I <3 Yuumao's vocals.

My friend always sings this..... One time she was taking a shower and I was cleaning and...guess what she was singing?

some stuff in this list are pretty old, since there are only a few songs that just stick into mind. and as they do, they become my favorite anime opening/ending of all time.
