Of course it's cheesy. It's Viewtiful Joe! But if you've played the game then you won't mind much. I'm most disappointed that they did not use cel-shading, which they wasted on SD Gundam Force instead (To all) Don't worry too much about the subtitles, as they will be getting progressively better |

Couple of questions about Viewtifu Joe
This isn't really a suggestion, nor am I asking for suggestions, but I don't where else to put it, so I'll start it here.
I'm Q.C.ing for NYU on VJ, and I don't have access to my copy of the game right now, so can someone check their copy of the game for these concerns: 1. Is the prototypical enemy called a "Biancky"? This guy -> It should say his name in the montage that rolls when you beat the game 2. Is the evil organization's name spelled "Jadow" or Jado"? I don't recall exactly where/when it says, but I'm pretty sure that if you play as one of the alternate characters, the captions will say at some point (probably when you begin the fight against Alastor as Captain Blue). I think the former is correct, but I'm not sure. Thanks guys!

I guess it shows that Japanese anime can do well with an american style... anyway Viewtiful Joe the game is a japanese game but it has very heavy western style too. So it means the Japanese can do games and animes with very diverse styles...

he did that so he wouldnt slip. earlier in the episode you might have noticed what happened when he tried to use Mach Speed on the sand.
I really liked that they didn't bother to explain that. It seems like some kind of wierd trend where a lot of action show characters stop the fight mid-scene to analyze each other's techniques. To me, that never seems to fit. |
