I'm really counting on Yui here because I don't want to be down to only having one girl left. On the other hand, if Koromo wins I can go back to "ANYONE BUT NODOKA" mode and thus feel good about whoever else wins Saimoe. Go figure.
Meh, you can just keep the mode on. I mean, I'm on a perpetual "Anyone but Taiga" right now

It doesn't have so much to do with how I feel about Nodoka, but the fact that she'll have beaten three of my top-tier characters (if she does beat Taiga). Two is already hard to take.

And I don't feel good about getting trolled by Japan.

First time in Saimoe or something? Saimoe is trolling more than half of the time and final results are no better.

Third. I know how Saimoe works, but a man can still dream.

it's no longer sairie.
i wonder it would end up as sakimoe

honestly tacos would have stood a better chance than kyaputen in beating Yui. but oh well. i'm also up for a kyoutaro harem end~ (1-2 finish by mihoko and nodoka, just like in the individual tournament)

We all know that if Koromo does win, everyone will be anti-Saki and Taiga will win.

And Captain wins in a match hardly anyone cares about.
Vote record: 1-0 (R5: 2-1) (Tot: 84-71)

Pick for today:
Quarter Final 4 --> Amae Koromo

Demonic loli <3

Louise's loss broke my confidence in the anti-Saki faction. I'd by far prefer Yui being champion to Taiga, but I'll support both, for what it's worth...

Low vote count since it's an intraseries match, and there's no clear favorite against Yui if she wins today.

Vote: Yui
Prediction: Yui

I like both Yui and Koromo, so it doesn't matter who wins.

Voting Koromo today, as annoying as Taiga was, Yui still tops her on the "Just bugs me" meter. Besides, only non-believers are blind to the shining ray of light known as The Koromo.

I thought about voting for Yui since I consider her to be more moe, and I like her more overall, but in the end I decided to got for Koromo for the lulz, and the ensuing shitstorm in the semi finals.

Winner: Fukuji Mihoko

Well, damn. I thought Kugimiya Rie fans would stand behind Yuuki, but I guess in a Saki vs Saki only battle, Mihoko is actually more liked.

Bolded is my pick, italics is my prediction.

<<平沢唯@けいおん!>> (Hirasawa Yui @ K-ON!)
<<天江衣@咲 -Saki->> (Amae Koromo @ Saki)

Well damn this is hard. Not going to underestimate Saki now, especially their loli. Koromoe ftw.

My picks for Quarterfinals Day 3

Q3 Yuuki Takaoka [she is not my pick, nor my force pick but she beat Chiaki and one of the chosen ones to reach the finals aside from Taiga. Sorry Desu no.2 but Tacos is what everyone wants]
And just like that Tacos eliminated by Desu 2009. A Nodoka vs Mihoko finals will make Kyoutarou happy.

My pick for Lasy day of Quarterfinals

Q4 Amae Koromo [K-ON should be eliminated and she is the best weapon to eliminate Yui, Yui might take her home]

Yesterday's Results:

Kataoka Yuuki - 613 (48.15%)
Fukuji Mihoko - 660 (51.85%)

It wasn't the result I predicted, but it was a close match. I suppose this really was the south Wind round. The vote totals are pretty low today, but that should be expected since this match only involves characters from one series. Mihoko being a bit stronger than Yuuki means she should be stronger than Koromo but she'll have a hard time against Yui. Saki just needs one more character in the Top 4 to set a new record for most characters from one series in the Top 4 in one year.

Today's match: Hirasawa Yui vs Amae Koromo

Hirasawa Yui

Past Results:
Round 4: Yui 838 (52.70%) - Minori 752 (47.30%)
Round 3: Yui 953 (50.48%) - Hinagiku 935 (49.52%)
Round 2: Yui 836 (49.06%) - Rika 773 (45.36%) - Shimako 95 (5.58%)
Round 1: Yui 708 (58.71%) - Yaya 258 (21.39%) - Hiyori 121 (10.03%) - Ameri 119 (9.87%)

Preliminary Group 13
1 - Yui - 621
2 - Taiga - 594
3 - Hisa - 584

Amae Koromo

Past Results:
Round 4: Koromo 770 (61.40%) - Amu 440 (38.60%)
Round 3: Koromo 792 (58.32%) - Hanyuu 566 (41.68%)
Round 2: Koromo 689 (52.88%) - Sakuya 463 (35.53%) - Erica 151 (11.59%)
Round 1: Koromo 585 (41.08%) - Izumi 583 (40.94%) - Miyako 191 (13.41%) - Noriko 65 (4.56%)

Preliminary Group 4
1 - Hinagiku - 589
2 - Index - 569
3 - Minori - 536
4 - Koromo - 529
5 - Amu - 511
6 - Nagi - 412

Round 5 is already coming to a close. For the third and final time this round, a Saki character is up to the plate. Challenging The Koromo is Hirasawa Yui. Yui has been one of the most impressive performers in the contest even compared to the other character who reached Round 5. Excluding Round 5, Yui still has the highest total number of votes. If you include Round 5, she still beats Isumi, Louise and nearly beats Tacos and Captain. Yui had a strong preliminary performance and outranked Taiga who already made the Top 4 and was starting to look like a favorite to win the contest. Yui has also defeated a number of strong characters. Yui defeated Saimoe 2007 champion Furude Rika. Yui then went on to squeek by Katsura Hinagiku who was the strongest character of what looked to be the second stronger series at the time. Yui then went on to beat Kushieda Minori who is a powerful Toradora character, a series that had been showing it's power as of late. Hinagiku and Kushieda are also two characters that directly outperformed Koromo in the Preliminaries. The Koromo had a bit of a slow start but gained steam as the battle went on. Placing 4th in her preliminary is pretty bad compared to pretty much everyone else in the Top 8. She very narrowly defeated Segawa Izumi. She had a larger win against Sakuya. An even larger win against Hanyuu. Finally she had a win even larger than that against Amu. This can partially be attributed to Koromo's opponents actually getting weaker as the rounds progressed. That ends with Yui, though. Narrow victories against Izumi and Sakuya don't compare to winning against Hinagiku. Koromo is still far from weak. Koromo's last hour Haitei Raoyue is pretty deadly. Yui will need to take this battle seriously if she wants to win. Also Yui is here to go after Nodocchi, she's can't afford to show weakness against The Koromo.

My prediction:
Yui - 52.71%
Koromo - 47.29%

I'm voting for Hirasawa Yui.

Regardless of the result of this battle, it's possible that every match from here had a Saki character in it.

Don't care who wins this, but it's probably beneficial for Captain if Koromo won, right?
