I just finished rewatching all of S1 not too long ago. And I have to say... Kallen. Is. Win.

While yes, she was quite captivating during the first few episodes. While she did become a Zero fangirl, she was still great, imho. Guren skyrocketed that already orbital awesomeness.

She gone and passed Jupiter. aka, godlevel. Now all I have to do is get R2, and i'm set >:]

Kallen: +++Severe Almighty damage to all enemies. ++Chance of causing charm. xP

Okay, this is a innocent error, but...

There're a lot of doubts about the correct Kallen's surname.

Kozuki or Kouzuki?

I read "kouzuki" in the wikipedia, but more bandai gadget call her "kozuki", to understand what is the correct surname isn't easy.
Just a additional "U" not seems so heavy, but in japan ideogram translation, that change more about name's meaning.

I used Kozuki like real surname and Kouzuki for the second identity, but if the correct form is tha other one, I must fix something...

Kōzuki is traditional or revised Hepburn I guess and the ō tells us that it's a long vowel.

In kana spelling however, ō --> ou (or oo depending on the kana) and ū --> uu.

I would personally go with Kouzuki as this method is the one that most accurately represents the way that the vowels are written in kana and this is how text is entered into a Japanese word processor using a keyboard with Roman characters.

Kōzuki and Kouzuki are the same, the only difference is that the first one is written using Hepburn and the other is written using "kana spelling". Kozuki on the other hand would be a different name. I don't think I've seen that spelling in anything official, but I might be very wrong here, feel free to point it out if I am. I guess an explanation as to why the Kozuki spelling surfaced could be that someone wanted to write her name on a picture or whatever and used the Hepburn version for reference but picked a font that didn't include "ō", thus ending up with a regular "o" instead.

I don't know, that's just a random guess.

I see, I must fix a couple of pages.

I must change more her surname for the new identity, I used the "same" surname at last

Then, Kallen Kozuki will become "Karen Kyouzeki".

I fixed all the pages already!

Tell me the etymology of Kallen's name, then? I think it would be cool to find out.

Although I already know what Karen means, it probably wouldn't hurt to tell. Kouzuki/Kozuki being a problem for me. Kozuki is probably hepburned, though I prefer the original japanese meaning.
