Appears to be region locked (I tried). I'm hoping it's okay to say that you can find Chinese subs on Chinese torrent sites. Not a totally satisfactory situation. Like Ebiten, maybe some kind souls will sub the streamed version.

howeeey! SnI is back ^^ though some voices sounded weird/different guess it's the change in seiyu i've been reading here. Although i'll reserve judgement since the girls parts were a bit on the short side . Ken seems fine though.

MInase ... I like .. hope she has some other parts later on

So, that's how Ken decided to turn 'from zero to hero'. Loved how he thought the girl wanted to join the council, when all she wanted wads to be the best. Either way, he got his wish.

Chizuru's new voice is far too different compared to the original. Will take some getting used to. Mafuyu's new voice is acceptable, though that too will probably take time to sink in.

Other than the first 40 seconds missing from the sub, I enjoyed this first episode.

Minase........why was she so annoying? Man, Ken must be having tough time dealing with her. Not only dealing with her ultra insulting speech and annoying persona but also her astronomical scores at exam.

Also nothing really big happened in the novel as well so.

Ken seems to have lost a fair bit of his flamboyancy, and his reactions aren't animated anywhere near as emotively as they used to be, which is a shame.

Episode 00 bored me, although I guess it was okay that they showed how Ken got into the student council. However, I always took this show as slapstick comedy... It just was not executed well in this episode. Flat, boring, made me think "when is something interesting going to happen?"

I see many people annoyed about the change in seiyuu, I'm not really noticing it, maybe because there was just not enough screen time of the girls for me to really notice. But from what I heard, they sounded fine. I don't really pay attention to things like that anyway, as long as the voice suit's the character and the acting is good. But when the voice sounds bad... I'll just not go there.

The thing that DID annoy me though was the color palette change. Most notably on Mafuyu's and Minatsu's hair. Seriously.. I cringed when I saw Mafuyu's hair (why my favorite character!?

), the color is just not attractive, it's so bland and does not stand out compared to the first season.

Best moment in the episode for me was the ending when Mafuyu said what she said to Ken cause he had too much screen time.

This episode proved that he never had that flamboyance in the first place. He was an average student who didn't really had much contact with his classmates and didn't know what to do with his life. It's only after he met each of the girls and took their advice to heart that he started changing to what we know him for.

I prepared myself for the worst after reading all the post here, but episode 00 really wasn't all that bad. I didn't dislike the Ken-Minase interaction, or even the Ken-unnamed classmates interation, and Nomizu Iori is acceptable as Mafuyu. On the other hand, while Mina sounds like she's trying, she's definitely failing to project an onee-sama vibe.

As for Seitokai no Ichizon Z, I think that's a Zeta Gundam reference, since it's a red Z on a blue background.
