Well, as Box said, everyone with "Cadet rep" title is able to take an infantry unit (probably either a tactical squad or full squad, 4 or 12 respectively). As much as I want to deny it, canon is canon.

It's slightly toned down in ST, and with a believable reason too. It was after all made as deconstruction.

It's even more justified in TLR Stratos since it was supposed to be unrealistic, rule of cool and rule of funny is everywhere (per my standard BTW). Lampshade hanging and MST3K mantra is abound.

That wouldn't be seen as Exchange student program, it'd be seen as "The high and mighty pilots want to see how the lower life is" by most people. Especially since Oujo-sama Cecilia's coming.

@ Senpai - Are 5 people enough for a specialized/spec-ops team?

I thought Spec-Ops are usually 4 soldier + 1-2 operator, so yes.

That is true... then a false identity? Ichika is pretty famous so they can't fake his identity. Instead he's set-up as their guide.

Pretense of foreign students soaking in culture.

This idea is based on assumption that rep candidacy triggered celeb status is mostly localized and rarely extends ovrseas.

Side note - Well, I already have five people for the bad future Phantom Task Annihalation Team. Then again, they're most likely gonna end up dead at the end since their main reason for fighting is vengeance, and vengeance is a never-ending cycle.

Do note that Rito have 4/5 of his harem being a Tsundere/Kuudere (including Laura and Cecilia post-defeat). To be fair, he lacked life-threatening member in his roster (Cecilia and Yami is possible exception).

The usual "Knight in Shining armor" reason.

This being Ichika, that actually trained as cadet-rep, and inside an universe that runs on rule of cool, he beat the crap out of Deviluke agents. Read that, a pair of (near) superhuman Alien MIB that put Terran Supersoldiers to shame (at least, on paper they do, but in reality....

).

I kept her original characterization being snobbish and selfish early in the story, and she only become her cheerful, friendly self seeing Ichika's willingness to help anyone in need. Ichika again and again won through crazy challenges against the suitors, at least until he met Zastin.

Lala' also has other reason of running away besides fiancée-thing.

Side note - While you seem to dislike Tatenashi, you seem to like Kanzashi.

well Chifuyu more or less threatening to castrate him, so....

Well, I like Tatenashi when she act actually, you know, decent, not "LULZ U MAD?" and curbstomping everyone. Problem is she's like that, all the damn time, until Golem has it's way on her.

Kanzashi is more or less 'underdog' type that get overshadowed, and in fact, one of the more reasonable member of the harem as far as I can see. Rin and Cecilia might be an underdog as well, but their actions speak insanity.

No, Tsuda beat her in a staring contest (his harem gave him immunity from being panic), even Ichika remark his spine is made of black hole.

You know, those that have other suffer for the sake of amusement. Not necessarily evil though, they also never actually refute what they did is 'wrong' from normal perspective.

1. Ichika is her focus of attention (platonically or romantically)
2. No men dare/decent enough to court her so far
Her and Tsuda in this version is Platonic Life Partners, and he is more or less a surrogate father/uncle to Ichika.

You mean V5? She's toned down in V6, but that's about it, V7 made her actually likable, but still not enough for my tastes. (at least I not hate her that much by that point)

Side note - Members: Spoiler: Kazuma Orimura/"The Pariah" - One of the few male clones of Ichika Orimura and possibly the only one with a sense of free will. Due to Ichika dying to defend him, he wants to kill Phantom Task and Tabane in retaliation. Team Leader and Assault specialist. Saito Sarashiki/"The Prodigal son" - The only male member of the Sarashiki family in the current generation. After a falling out with his sister that resulted in his near death, he promised in turn to destroy them. With Phantom Task out of the way, this'll be easier. Recon specialist with Pistols and Knives. Charles Dunoa/"The Rebel" - Originally a spy sent by his distant Mother to tear the group from within, he defected after seeing what the Dunoa corporations dealing have done to the mass populace. Fights using Bow and Arrows and a melee expert. Shouta Yamada/"The Outcast" - Due to his mother's pacifistic ways, she refused to fight fir Phantom task when asked. But because of her high sync rate, she was deemed a threat and killed. While he primarily wants revenge for his dead parent, he also wants to stop them for others who have suffered. Not adept in weaponry, but a skilled medic and good socio-analysist. Irish (Yuri Graham)/"The Unknown" - Joins the group at a later date for an unspecified reason. Though he refuses to reveal his reasons, he's an adapt member of the team serving as the saboteur and electronics expert. Fights with Knives and claws that retracts from both his hands and feet. __________________

Ina-kun…? N-No…” Her trembling hands continue to quiver, holding his hand even firmer as she suddenly raises her head. “NO!” She yells out at the top of her voice, only to realize that she was having a horrible dream as she notices that Inami is still asleep. “Kuuuuh… I hate nightmares.” She begins to rub her forehead while recovering from her sudden outburst then notices Inami’s eyebrows twitching. “Grrrh… Urrrgh…” “Ina-kun…?” She lightly brushes her right hand across his forehead, looking at him with uncertainty as he begins to open his eyes. “Uuuurh… W-Where… eh?” He quickly notices Tsurugi out of the corner of his eyes, slowly turning his head to face her. “T-Tsu…-chan…?” “Ina-kun…!
