That was that lighting technique I mentioned that I thought was kind of overkilled in Kanon. It like the sun just went Supernova or something and the characters have a minute and a half left as the explosive light is just in visible range.

A little too lense-flare-ish, but... I like it!

It almost evokes a sense of nostalgia without requiring a knowledge of the subject matter. Definitely a different style than the show is presented with, but amazingly enough one that fits. I think that imagery is how I feel on the inside when I watch Lucky Star.

Despite her constant teasing of Kagami-sama, it doesn't seem like Kona-chan seems to dig yuri, which I find hard to believe. (Not to mention Kagami-sama would be devastated if it were true.
