Her family does appear rather well to do from the looks of things and she said she could get out of being caught rather quickly.

Just looking at all the paranoia about Kallen. Just want to say. Wow... Wow. O_D There was a comment a while back about if Todou was captured he'd be sitting upright. I can sort of agree somewhat about how Kallen was drawn in the cell(Fanservice). To be honest I didn't think anything of it. I don't know what else to say about it. They won't go that far.

House arrest seems like a bit of a slap on the wrist. I doubt that they'll let her off so easy. She is a dangerous enemy. They'll probably make use of her in some way. Possibly bait or even as a means of physcological warfare.

Wait, wasn't her birth mother a Japanese? Her step-mother won't have love for her.

Also, is her father really that big-hearted for a daughter who'll rather be known as an 11 rather than as a Britannian?

No they wouldn't go that far.

We can watch Lelouch and Suzaku get tortured and beaten and broken, but we sure as heck can't watch Kallen being given the same treatment for reasons I don't need to mention.

She was talking with her comrades what would happen if they were caught. I doubt she was bluffing.

Her adoptive mother is irrelevent. It's the father who matters.


Let's go over the issue:


1. Karen is most likely a love child, since it seems her blood parents never married.

2. In spite of her origins, she is living in the residence of her father, as a legitimate daugther. It seems her father both as the clout to nullify any potential threat her mixed status has, and the love to go through the trouble to make her his legitimate daughter.

3. The Stadtfeld family seems to have a lot of prestige, both in terms of influence and money.

Maybe he'll even help her escape or something, though I can't understand why. It also seems very hard for Lelouch to either get to her and for her to get out.
