One month from completion? I think it's already finished airing...

Then you'd better start downloading... the last episode airs today and one fansub group has already done all the episodes to date.

Checked out the first episode OnDemand a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it, but it didn't hook me in like I thought it would. I plan to keep watching, though. I adore the OP and ED themes, and I'm really liking Holo and Lawrence.

I'm rewatching this. Read the novel and manga, which are different... So after leaving Chloe, Lawrence returns to his empty room and lays to bed, as he hits the bed Holo is there. The next day they leave town. So she sleeps over in the same room nude? In the novel the she sleeps in his wagon and he sleeps next to her. Lucky Lawrence...

The anime implies she leaves after the conversation in the room (returns to her wheat) but yeah, in all 3 versions they do share a blanket and warmth right off the start. Horo is quite comfortable with this (after all, wolves sleep in a big huddle) but I don't know about "Lucky Lawrence" He wants to be proper, doesn't know if he should get tangled up with a minor goddess, and spends a lot of his energy pretending their relationship is purely business Meanwhile Horo cuddles up and he's doomed

That's up to your imagination. But in the novels/manga, he spends their first night sleeping next to her in the cart, quite unabashedly. Anime Lawrence is a bit more of a typical anime coward, though.. your mileage may vary.

When I first saw Spice and Wolf on Netflix. I started thinking I don't know if I wanted to watch it. I'm glad I took the chance and actually watched it. I was immediately sucked into the story. I gave the first episode a 9. Mainly because the merchant side of things wasn't to interesting to me at first. Now it is after watching both season of the anime and finishing the first novel.
