I'll throw in a few more thing on Othinus.

Being a Majin is like being a perfect existence that encompass every possibility. Since it is EVERY possibility, no matter how strong she is, she has equal chance of success and failing at what she is trying to do. Thus, despite she has enough power to crush even Imagine Breaker, she still end up letting Ollerus and Fiamma got away. This power is equally as useful as it being risky. Her goal right now is to gain full control of the possibilities she posses so she can get out of this 50:50 situation.

On the other hand, she is also trying to develop an universal esper power. The esper power Alister developed is tp manipulate quantum perception at a mirco level through altering human brain. Basically it is manipulating the quantum theory on how things can only be real when it is observed. Those cannot be observed can be described as certain percentage of possibility.. say, since we can't observe super natural power, we can't confirm or deny its existence, the best we can say it is 99% impossible and 1% possible... somewhat like that. But personal reality would alter the observation and let super natural power occur disregarding its original possibility of occurring.
But what Othinus is trying to do is to create esper that function on macro scale instead of micro level, creating an prevailing butterfly effect over the world. To do so, she first has to create a huge distortion of worldly law (the battle in Baggage City) to bent quantum in a macro scale, and under this bent wordily law, micro level observation can be easily bent without going through all things Alister had to do.
But, bending wordily law... is bending wordily, which usually has huge rebound after you did something like that. The macro level super natural distortion is successfully created through Gremlin's effort, it'll eventually appear sometime in the future. But the effect of the distortion is great, it is even affecting the present, when the distortion had not existed yet. Under the affect of this distortion, the world is trapped in "a law which allows tragedy to occur easily".....seriosuly. If I am reading this correctly, Othinus is creating her own version of Imaginary School District and constructing an aeonic shift temple in a wordily scale.

No, Othinus has no control over her own possibility. Everything is a 50:50 to her no matter how much power she has. it isn't as convenient as Holy Right.

Is the 50/50 power of hers something that results from being a Majin or is it her own unique power?

Assuming it is what I think it is- This reminds me of what I've watched on "The Universe", something about Quantum Theory and Relativity being impossible to put together as the "Very Big" and the "Very Small" seemingly obeys different laws and what happens in one, doesn't necessary applies to the other.

And looking way back into the original series, this was the distortion that screwed with the Elements in the first place?

Ollerus power is his own style, nothing to do with a Majin.

Remember that Pendex was also considered to be a Majin-Material.

Indeed. So, Majins can have various kinds of powers and not necessary have powers that makes you a perfect enough existence to be all possibilities. That's my basis for thinking the 50/50 power might be Othinus' original and unique power and maybe it got enhanced to godly levels when she became a Majin.

Hm. I've heard of a videogame-writing tactic of making blatantly powerful player skills less accurate to balance it with less powerful but always accurate attacks. Seems like the same analogy used with the Majin's powers.

Like, the Majin's powers are absolute in terms of sheer destructive strength, but only works by chance (i.e. 50/50).

Correct me if I'm wrong.
