Or there's this Festival organized to choose one Bride amongst the Princess.
The Moderators pay all expense related to the Festival, including damages from combat.

Next time we'll get super combat cyborg, kill sat, fleet of warships, and psycho lesbian (the last one is especially likely).

Heh. This also had me thinking of Mai-HiME. Minor things like property damage weren't an issue for them, either... at least not in the first half of the series.

I mean, the thing is that objectively, Shizuku is perfectly correct. The way she played it was indeed in Natsuru's best interest: It caused the uproar around Natsuru to die down, giving him/her some more breathing space (upside 1), and it also prevents any later uproars should someone later see female Natsuru walk into the Senou apartment (upside 2).

However, she's _enjoying_ this so much. She knew exactly what doing this would cause (Sakura running off to give an earful to male Natsuru), and she's now enjoying watching the drama unfold, from the sidelines. "You'll regret this". Heh. Indeed, I guess.

It's cheesy but they pull it off so well.

Though I hope the pres. three don't make many more appearances later... Talk about repeating the same joke over again. The love polygon involving Natsuru was funny. Mostly because of ...what's her name again... the girl voiced by Ranka. The most mysterious scene of the episode was the one where Ranka tore up the flyer... We've completed manga volume 3 in episode 3 (in novel terms, episode 4 will most likely finish the remaining volume 2 parts). At this speed we'll definitely reach the late novels. And knowing this, I don't mind so much anymore that they're skipping alot of secondary plots to get there. Gives the manga scanlations something interesting to work with. Details I enjoyed this episode: o The bogus Marimite innuendos were hilarious (big MariMite fan here) o Nishino Masumi! I really missed the girl from the skipped-over parts, but she's back with a vengeance as Newspaper club interviewer. Wonderful stuff ^_^ o Coolest background I can remember in ages on Mikoto's photo postcard o Sakura really keeps the pot cooking. Have to hand it to her, she's relentless. o Poor Akane tries and thinks and hopes but doesn't seem to get it ... Natsuru is too fixated on Sakura to notice. o Shizuku's devious-catty smile when she consciously messed up Natsuru's life by revealing that Natsuru-she is living with Natsuru-he, while (not incorrectly) claiming that she was doing this just for HIS sake. o Sakura's Wrath of the Righteous on Natsuru-male By the way: The next episode title translates to "Declaration of War".
