The Konosuba franchise has a new anime project in the works.

Voice actors Jun Fukushima and Rie Takahashi announced in the HiBiKi radio program on Tuesday that Natsume Akatsuki's KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! light novels are inspiring a new anime project. The announcement did not reveal the format for the anime. Fukushima and Takahashi play the characters Kazuma and Megumin in the anime, respectively.

Usually when they said project, it's going to be a long term animation. Either it's a bunch of ova like hellsing or a 3rd season series(most likely this one).

They are supposed to said their last goodbye in this last radio show but before the end oguraP from kadokawa left a suprise note for them about new anime project.

Can't wait for more Megumin.

I doubt that it's the Megumin's spinoff, but I wouldn't mind it. Kazuma was there too, so it's either S3 or OVAs, where Kazuma and the rest of the party are present.

More Kazuma And hopefully in the future there will be a crossover with Touka Scott.

Not even surprised about this annoucement, Konosuba is already a successful series that has more to give to the audience.

If is a third season, that means we're getting Megumin being the best girl and sleeping with Kazuma?

Many people anticipate that this "new TV episodes" are Megumin spin-off.
