Sekirei Manga to End in 18th Volume

Sakurako Gokurakuin is announcing in her 17th Sekirei manga volume on Wednesday that the series will end in the next volume. She thanked her readers for staying with the manga up to the latest volume. Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine had revealed in 2013 that the manga was entering the ultimate battle of the Final Stage in the Sekirei Plan.

Thank you friend. I almost forgot that Kuu's powers is the opposite of Shiina's powers. I only thought that Kuu usually have plant powers. But still, I was surprised that she is able to bring the dead sekirei back to life. I just heard that the Sekirei manga is going to end in the 18 volume. I really hope that Minato will succeed what Tenchi and Seina have did at the end of the series as he end up marry his sekireis including Musubi. Thus giving a happy ending as they living happily ever after once the Sekirei Plan comes to an end.

Unfortunately for itself Sekirei is one of those shows that was better suited when it just used the girls it had for fanservice. Ultimately the story was made far more complicated then it had to be even worse so because it dragged on for far too long

Out of all of the other harem animes that I've watched, Sekirei is by far one of the best ones, along with High School DxD. I really hope that Minato and Musubi getting married. Even though she claims herself to be his wife after Tsukuimi started it on the day she emerged with Minato.

Sekirei to me isnt actually that good. Its got some beautiful women but i dropped it about 10 or so chapters ago because it dragged on rather massively.

So...Could anyone tell me what is happening in the latest chapters? Who ended up with whom, which harems are still alive and etc. because I dropped it somewhere...Well I don't actually remember where but at the beginning of the final stage...Mc was fighting against another guy in white suit or something like this.

Did you mean Minato fighting Higa? Right now Musubi battling Karasuba while the others work together to keep the invading army from interrupting the Sekirei Plan. I don't why Musubi fighting No.4 right now but should have be waiting until she and Karasuba were the last two standing to fulfill their promise?

Edit: Sekirei sure beats Infinite Stratos in my opinion. No offense.

well in 177-178 all ashikabis are out cold due all jinki to activate... so in 178 all minatos sekirei mostly give their cores/power to wake up their ashikabi which is minato and lend power to musubi so she can win and save everyone

Miya 01 turned into Sekirei 00 who stands on the middle of kouten... 179 is about minato waking up...musubi full of power and prays of other sekirei (higa's, mikogami's ect) ready to face sekirei 00 on kouten

so for now nr02-03-06-09 and ku are out so its musubi as the last sekirei vs miya aka 00

Personaly I belive the whole fight will end with Minato kissing Miya and freeling her from the role of kouten owner (something that her ex-husband couldnt do as he was not ashikabi) as he claims that miya is also part of the family and everything is thanks to her kindness when she let them (minato and musubi) into izumo inn. So the manga mostly will end with mianto married to all girsl with miya included... maybe a time skip showing that he has children with each girl

I think you are right about Minato "winging" Miya/sekirei 00. I doubt we'll see a time skip though. It would be nice if it happens.

As powerful as Miya is supposed to be now, I can't imagine her strength once she gets her wings (this is assuming that it really does happen - I am betting on it). This begs the question of who is going to fulfill the "wish"?

Well I hope that Minato will be married to Musubi (mainly) and his other sekireis at the end of the manga. There is a possibility that Miya might be emerged by Minato. I don't mind if Uzume joins the harem. If she does,then it will be even better. During in the past chapter, I've seen a sekirei that looked like Uzume looking at the Original Ashikabi who might be the Past Minato in Miya's vision. And hopefully,there's going to be a special extra chapter that Minato will make love to his sekirei as they really wanted to. It has the mature rating after all.
