Anime with guns?

I don't really know why but i feel like watching a good action anime that involves guns (most likely because i just watched a couple series with sword action). I am not that picky at all when i comes to anime just say some that you think are good. i would rather not post my whole list of anime i have seen but if you click on my sig it should take you to a list but if you don't want to look through the list just say your recommendations even if i have seen it. So to sum up what i want is good action anime with guns (could also be mecha) and if it has some comedy and romance that is just as good.

Thnx for any recommendations,

Squiggles.

Click here if Sig not showing for list.

Texhnolyze, one of the greatest shows ever. However, it is very slow paced, many people drop it on the first episode (Rest of the series is different than the first episode) because they cannot understand it. You really need a brain to watch this series. But yea, there are guns in this anime, therefor I recommended it to you (The guns are not really significant though.

Toshokan Sensou

Quote:
The premise of Toshokan Sensō involves the Japanese government passing the Media Betterment Act (MBA) in 1989, which allows the censorship of any media deemed to be potentially harmful to Japanese society.

However, local governments opposed to the Media Betterment Act established armed anti-MBA defence force units to protect libraries from being raided by federal government agents. The conflict between the government and library soldiers has continued to 2019, when the story begins.

The story was inspired by Japan's Statement on Intellectual Freedom in Libraries.
Librarians with guns, defending the right of free access to information. What's not to love? The show packs huge doses of romance and comedy as well. Think of it as a more reality-based version of R.O.D. without Za Paper's over-the-top superpowers.

If you decided to watch Madlax, then I also suggest you check out Noir as well b/c Noir is the predecessor to Madlax. Both were made by the same production team so there's a bit of similarity between the two.

Noir is basically a very stylistic girls with guns series. The story is about a pair of female assassins and the mystery behind their relationship.

I'll 2nd Noir and 3rd Madlax. Madlax gets pretty strange but it's worth the watch IMO. Out of the Girls with Guns trilogy Noir is my favorite and definitely worth the watch.

City Hunter is a classic, although the manga is much better than the anime.

Trigun and Gunslinger Girl are some good gun oriented action anime.

As for Mecha anime with lots of action I guess Gundam 00 fits that criteria.

Going to second Gunslinger Girl.
I'll also add Gungrave to the list, since it's one of my favorites, though we could all do w/o the 1st episode.

Seconding Angel Heart and City Hunter - both adapted from manga by the same mangaka. Angel Heart is a sequel (of sorts) to City Hunter. Plenty of (slapstick) comedy and romance in both of these series too.

Black Lagoon and Cowboy Bebop are two shows about bounty hunters that have a lot of gunfighting action. However, both shows have very good character development, so come for the action, stay for the story and plot.
