There's a whole thing with college entrance exams in the United States, too.
There's College Board with its SAT exam and ACT, Inc. with it's similarly named exam. Those are the two most popular ones. Colleges have been moving to ACT because stats say student performance on ACT predicts success much better than performance on SAT. And College Board will revamp SAT exam because of this as well. There are also "no exam" colleges, because exam performance isn't great at predicting student success. |

Episode 2
I really would have preferred it if this was a bit more realistic and not the kind of exaggerated mumbo-jumbo this is right now. Sure it's pretty damn exaggerated – the headphone guy (are headphones really allowed in this god damn examination hall, especially when cheating is pretty advanced here?) was sending insects to poison his enemies, there was a spiderman wannabe, there were infrared sensors, the MC was using paper like a nekoing whip – but I didn't find much of this stuff amusing enough. It didn't appeal to me that much. Things started to feel a bit too stupid – and I don't mean the hilarious kind of stupid. Do those kids really have enough time today stop others from passing? If they've got so much free time on their hands in the nekoing examination hall, then why not copy another nerd's paper instead of stopping someone from copying his nerd's paper. And why the hell were they talking in the examination hall? That teacher should really let down on the booze especially when he has the job of stopping kids from cheating. And he was literally sleeping on the job when everyone knows that kids these days will make use of any opportunity they get to cheat. There was a lot of stupidity here. I'm pretty disappointed here. This could have been something much better if they had kept things more realistic. And what was with them telling us not to imitate? As if we'd be bringing our insect loaded headphones to the examination room with us. It's dangerous to carry poisonous insects with you anyway. |

about the "warn" well while it's obvious which we can't mimic some of that "super exagerated techincs" the idea is just "don't cheat", not mimic what they are doing but just "don't cheat" and be honest and fair.

Oh, I love this series! Action, comedy, and a whole lot of entertainment. It's one of those series you don't have to think much about, but just turn off your mind and enjoy the ride. The exaggerations and creative impossibility just makes it more fun because the story doesn't take any of that seriously.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Cheating Craft as the staff wanted to make Chinese National Exam more exciting with awesome battles, yet it's more of a mockery of it as students try to cheat their way only to get stomped in the end... Well, except for the main character of this show!

Episode 3
This just isn't working out for me. It's not just that I was expecting something else and this turned out different, this just isn't good. The comedy really isn't working out. It isn't feeling fun enough despite there being tons of absurdity. The characters aren't fun either. Maybe Kou is, but still not enough. This was a pretty big disappointment. They have this rather unique idea—I mean, there really aren't many animes about cheating in exams—but they turned things into some shitty whatever this is. Gonna drop this. |
