I had noticed something kind of strange in the Madoka blu-rays and didn't see it mentioned anywhere (I might be doing bad searches, or maybe no one actually cares about this.), so I thought I would mention it on here for those that cared about this kind of thing. On both blu-ray players I tried it on, the subtitles looked like this when there was more than one line:

Is this common for anime blu-rays? I've never seen anything like this before, but I admit I don't have that many anime blu-rays. Anyway, I got used to it pretty quickly, but I felt a bit more comfortable watching the crunchyroll version today. For comparison: Spoiler for Screenshots2:
Anyway, I though I would mention this for those who cared, since it is kind of strange. I didn't want people who watched the crunchyroll version to be in for a surprise when they bought the blu-ray, if they are sensitive to this kind of thing. |
