At this rate there will be no surprise for the movie. I think they realised who haven't read the book already have been spoiled anyway.

Even small things were spoiled already. At the begining of the read, you weren't suppose to know taht Yuki was the main character, were you?

What part? That Yuki is the main character? Or that we wasn't suppose to know she is the main character? If the first option, you can change "main character" for "focus character", "female lead", "second main character" or whatever you want.

The main main character is still Kyon and is always Kyon, as you know.

I disagree. Was Kyon the main character in Someday in the Rain? Was he the main character in Live Alive? In my mind, the person who actually puts on the performance is more important than the person who merely watches it...

Kyon is frequently the central focus and/or main character, but not always.

Now, if he was to put on a performance with this group...

Danm you Triple! This was totally not my point! These two ocasions are exeptions (being SDITR even more an exeption, given how the narrative is).

The point is he is still the main character in Disapperance, but Yuki is close in importance. And we weren't suppose to know that readig the first chapters of the book.

On-Topic: This picture is awesome. I have already seen the individual images of the main5 + Tsuruya, but not hte others (even T&K? awesome!). Were did it come from, btw? (the images, not the montage)

Well, it's fairly clear that KyoAni/Kadokawa are promoting the Disappearance movie as a Yuki Nagato-focused story... I suppose that it takes a bit of the surprise away for non-novel readers, but it also builds some intrigue (i.e. "Why is Yuki getting so much attention? And in a movie called the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, huh? Hhmmm... I'm only a casual fan of this anime, but still... I wonder what this could mean for that anime? I'm going to check this movie out!")

The why of the name will probably be at the movie synopsis, the same way it is in the book's back cover. This is not supposed to be a surprise. Also, remember the first promotion of that story (back when it was going to be the Second Season) was using Haruhi, not Yuki (which actually make more sense). They probably choosed Yuki over Haruhi this time because she prooved to be really popular.

You haven't understood my question, have you? This image is a motage of some official images, right? Each one with just one character (I have seen the indvidual image for each brigade member + Tsuruya). I was asking were these images come from.
