Not at the beginning. Lin Xiang has the knowledge and potential with Dragonic magic, but needs practice to put it to work. Lin Xiang has inside of him the two legendary Dragon Gods after all, so I assume he'll be broken as hell in the future.

If there's one glaring and annoying as fuck flaw in the MC, it is his denseness. This guy is dense to a disgusting degree, sometimes even putting Ichika to shame.

What is intriguing though is that he's not unaware of his surroundings. He has a good head on his shoulders and is a very decisive guy. And, as long it's not directed at him, he's pretty good at grasping both the mood and the feelings the people around him are showing. In a nutshell, he's dense only when it comes to himself, otherwise the guy is really sharp.

I know, makes people wonder how can there be a guy so self-contradicting.

The story takes place in two parallel Universes; with both being almost exactly the same. Even the people are a duplicate of each other, the only difference being that the World where the MC reincarnated in has magic.

Both Lin Xiangs died at the same time, and the soul from the one from the normal Earth attached itself with the souls of the two deceased legendary Dragon Gods. His soul ended up getting dragged into the body of his self from the magical World that had just died by the hands of a Demon.

What I found interesting in this novel is that, despite it clearly being a Chinese novel, the setting of the story occurs on Japan.

Is someone else reading it?

Honestly my advice is to not read this story.

Overall it's not bad. It's even interesting and fun to watch the protagonist slowly grow and be stronger. But its main flaw however is exactly that: I've followed this for quite a while, and despite having 1000+ chapters the plot felt like it had just progressed 10%. 10%! It's so absurdly slow even Game of Thrones has more plot progression than this. Unless you plan to read this for the next 10 years, it really does not seem to be worth the effort.

Well, his denseness is indeed disturbing. BUT, the heroines here are a lot better than the ones from IS. After a certain events they start to get truly fierce on their approaches; caution and shame be damned.

Risa and Silent Water are truly adorable~♥. Even the class rep, who is the protagonist's secret fiance, which was the annoying bitch type at the beginning, became very adorable in no time~.

These girls really have no restraint in the part I am at. The class rep could not endure it when she saw the MC entering the classroom with Risa glued to his arm, and started to drop bombs left and right. That she's his fiance, and that he pushed her down, and if not for the interruption they would have(blush)... and even went as far as kissing him in front of all the classmates. All of that with Risa still glued on his arm, of course.

-Both Risa and Class Rep walk around glued to both of his arms wherever they go inside School;
-They both feed him in public. Here, ahn~!

I think that it's not really a mistake, since it's so persistently used. I think it's used to tell how they're that close, since it's widely known that sisters are usually very, very close. But, i'm still not sure...

Sadly i can't read Chinese... I can read some Japanese, but not really that much...

On the other hand, i don't like it that he has to use his life force to use the flame of purification (white flame). Every time a story with an element like that (something using life of someone) is told, it's usually bad end for the guy... I'm not fond of bad ends...

This is some good stuff I usually shy away from chinese novels (this is the only one that i read (that i know of)), but this one is good

Freed taught Lin Xiang a wind-type speed movement technique that's faster than any mage could achieve even with the support of a wind-type spirit. Lin Xiang learnt the Dragon's Roar too from Freed, and improved it the help of a Fire Dragon that Lin Xiang met when he entered a portal to serve as bait for Demons that attacked the school. Thanks to that, he's now immune to almost any type of fire and can even control it with time.

If I'm not mistaken, after the meeting with the Fire Dragon, Lin Xiang's body received a permanent physical boost of 15 times.

i mean, i did read the first chapter with the fight against the fire-demon but the way the guy talks irks me... does it get better or will he always say "you made a girl cry?...i will kill you" -_-

If I'm not mistaken, it's 15 times stronger than the average human. But that's still something impressive, since that's just his most basic form, and if he were to boost his abilities with magic you can see his advantage over normal magi.
