I think the poem in episode 11 was the best one yet.
Can Yun loses an eye to match his former brother.
Looks like he be adopting that eyepatch look by the end.

One thing that I feel not many people has given this series the credit for is just how funny it is.

this episode is basically:
Betsu Ten Gai "You think you can outwit me Ryoufuu Setsujin? I brought the hilt with me!"
Lin Setsu A "Curses! Foiled again!"

The "everybody bullies Syou Fu Kan" ep7 aside, some of the character interactions are quite hilarious.

Syou Fu Kan is always funny.

So finally the climax is reached. So Shāng Bù Huàn was in fact just using a piece of wood as his weapon. Looks like Juan found a new idol. That said, next week Lǐn Xuě Yā vs Miè Tiān Hái, i wonder how skill Lǐn Xuě Yā actually is.

All I can say is, do not expect a straight fight. There's no way he wasn't preparing some hallucinogenic dust for the party. Miè Tiān Hái expects either a tough fight against a skilled opponent or a quick end against an unskilled one. I believe Lǐn Xuě Yā will go for a cheap shot to knock him out and grab the sword, proving that Miè Tiān Hái's skills aren't enough.

was great watching his beat everyone down with just a stick.

Laughed when the opponent asked who he is, and he calls himself the Bladeless Edge title he was given by Juan just minutes ago lol.

Archer sure had a very unhonorable death.

I see Gale getting beat for the MC to come finish the job, Gale probably won't be killed though.

Poor Genkishuu officers, those Dry Bone attack moves got hard countered so badly once again. The differences in skill level is just too much for them.

Zankyou: going all out assault, got sidestepped and countered through the opening
Ryoumi: Amassing great flow of energy to overchage herself, got hit by the skill that reflects all the chi back
Choumei: Stores up chi inside body to maintain action even after receiving fatal flow, got hit by the attack that disrupts the flow within the body (which then in turn blows it all up). Syou Fu Kan basically used the Origin Bullet on him.

Gdi Betsu Ten Gai, can't you teach more useful skills to your underlings than those suicidal attacks? I get it that they only use it when severely outclassed, but still those are horrible ways to go out.

Urobuchi wrote the script for the art department, and then they settle on the colour palette first before going forward
reshotted at least 3 times
initially there were a lot of tornado and dust in the opening dessert, but the Japan side prefer it to have no cloud in the sky instead
the dragon is actually Satsu Mu Syou, who then does a front flip
The Japan part focuses on the different things than what the Taiwanese audience used to see

and those green puppeteers are just hilarious. I wonder how many didn't realise just how many greenscreen there are

Announcement found on the Taiwanese discs which went on sale roughly 90mins ago. Now awaiting confirmation on the Japanese side.

Wow. That was absolutely bloody marvellous and I am so glad they're making a sequel.

One of Urobuchi's best, and shows what he can really do with plot and dialogue when he's not just phoning it in. The mix of puppetry, physical effects and CG for the more magical aspects worked superbly, so top credit to Pili for their massive skills.

Not really Anime, well Animation, LOL

But it's a Puppeteer show, Taiwan had it for 10s of years already, one of the longest running show in Taiwan, on par with Japan's Doraemon and such.

Looks like Lǐn Xuě Yā's trolling on Shāng Bù Huàn continues. It's a nice touch to see how the ending point and the starting point are the same. A stone Buddha statue and an umbrella.

lol, my only complaint, but not really one, just a personal desire, is that the bad guy leader never knew just how outclassed he was when facing our main hero.

All that talk, and he wasn't even the 2nd strongest we know of.

Laughed when we found out that during the whole season, we spent all this time trying to get one sword back and Shang goes "yea I have all of the special swords from my country with me" He only used one, but I was expecting some Gate of Babylon epicness.

Kind of sweet how the Can Yun and the Dan Fei got together in the end, though he should go back to his spear lol.
