I enjoyed Episode 18. It had some really nice mecha action for a change (and not just reddish flowers blooming everywhere). It also had that slightly chaotic feel that I love to see in plot-heavy action-packed episodes like this one. I like when you're never quite sure of what's going to happen next, and that's how I felt while watching this episode.
However, this episode did feel a bit rushed and a bit more plot devicey than I would have liked. That makes me suspect that the rumors that have been recently discussed on this thread are probably true. And I'm not sure how I feel about that... But still, on its own, Episode 18 was lots of fun.

Madoka & Yurikano body switch ^^"
With all the chaos going on the ship things sure went out of control. All this mess over Yurikano.... *sigh* Those two had a hard time getting people believe them. Madoka sure made that part easier. Her thoughts made a difference, but flying Midori in that body was bumpy. Switching back was rather easy. I was expecting more of an ordeal about it. At least Yurikano finally learned how Lan's brother feels about her. Guess that was the end of her... a shame..

Wow, if the planet problem and the mystery of Rinne was already solved, I would of thought this would of been a nice ending episode.
Yurikano sure left no time to let them be confused, went straight to one of the secret they would know that she is Yurikano. Was played last episode but I really like this ending theme.

The English dub cast has been announced, I'm not super familiar with west coast dubs so I have no idea how this will turn out (well, except that Vic as Moid just doesn't sound quite right).

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the plot of this show only advances through absurd coincidences and sheer luck?
In this episode: Madoka accidentally pushes the intercom button and, mumbling by herself, reveals Yurikano's true feelings to the galaxy. Next scene, she crushes into Dizel's garden with Midori (BTW shouldn't the ship get depressurized?). Then Dizel's magical hand breaks the body swap at the most convenient time. In the end, Yurikano turns into GN particles and flies back to the Rin-ne world. Just like that. Who needs a supercomputer when you have the power of love?

No, you're not alone there. I dislike it too. This is basically what I meant by saying that this latest episode was too plot devicey. Some of that I accept as reflecting the general thrust of the anime ("Good luck/karma follows Madoka because she's a fiercely honest, bullheaded genki girl that always does what she thinks is right, no exceptions"). But this episode really did push it a bit too far.
