VJain's message actually only spoke half our needs, so hopefully I'm allowed to make this edit regarding his previous post.
Mellow Fansubs is in need of an intense timer for Clannad! Mellow is currently looking for an experienced timer to assist our Clannad project. You will only be expected to work on Thursdays, but you must be able to time fairly fast with good accuracy. We usually plan on 10 hour (give or take a few) schedules. This will mean that you have to sacrifice quite a portion of your Thursday nights, so if you're willing to take the job, please contact Nojiko, Dragon5152 or Rina in #Mellow @ irc.rizon.net Thanks in advance! Alternative methods of contact: You may also drop a message in our forum here: http://mellow.ax3.net/ Or simply send an email to rukia@bluebottle.com |

Can I ask groups not to repeat post every few days.
Recently there have been a few posters who are repeating time and time again for basically the same request (same project, same positions, etc.) with only a few days between the posts. The latest trick is to delete a recently made post and repost (this has only recently become possible since we now allow users to delete their own posts). I can only assume this is done to bring their request back to the "head" of the queue to try and get it noticed. Trouble is the more people who do this just makes the situation worse and as such is unfair and abuses the purpose of the thread. While we encourage posters to delete (or better yet, edit) old posts when the requests have been fulfilled, deleting posts just a few days old and reposting is considered as abusive. There should be no reason why there shouldn't be several weeks between requests. If the situation has changed since your last post, then please go back and edit your previous post instead of posting again. Can people be a bit more responsible and considerate. If this continues then unreasonable repeat posts will be deleted (instead of being merged with previous posts as has been done up till now) along with warnings and infractions being handed out. |

LostTreasure-Fansubs is looking for you!
First of all I'd like to say that we are a new fansub group, but that doesn't necessarily mean we haven't done this before. Anyways, we're looking to recruit some people that are interested in working on an anime that no groups seem to have an eye for doing.
Positions Needed: AFX Karaoker, Timers, Encoders, Editors, Quality Checkers, Translation Checkers, Distro, Website Designers, and Raw Providers Project: Rakugo Tennyo Oyui Group: LostTreasure-Fansubs IRC Channel: #LostTreasure-Fansubs IRC Contact: MurderousAngel Email: princessofdeath3904@yahoo.com (you can also contact me on the channel or here to ask any questions that you'd like.) We're still getting things situated so hopefully that doesn't discourage anyone from stopping by. I'm looking forward to working with all of you. Last edited by LostAnimeFan; 2007-11-09 at 11:30. |

Philanthropy Fansubs
"WHAT IS THIS FAGGOTRY? THEY'RE STILL ALIVE!?"
Yes, we are still alive, regardless of our month long dry spell. The reason for this is because one of our key members - Cloud668 - left the group, taking with him the entirety of our translation team. Because of this, we've been frantically searching for the help of anyone who speaks enough Japanese to translate atleast one episode a month. So the reason I decided to post here is quite simple: Philanthropy Fansubs is currently seeking any individual with knowledge of the Japanese language who may help us translate our projects. Given that we've lost our main translation force, we've had to pull out of the weekly battles (which, as I realize, were never in our favour in the first place), we will only be subbing a minimum amount of shows at the moment, until we can pick up a bit of momentum. If anybody wishes to help support the life of this decaying group, I urge you to e-mail me at cloudstrifeandvincent@hotmail.com, or speak with me through IRC (irc.rizon.net/username: NicolArmarfi). MSN is also another way to contact me, via the e-mail previously listed. As a side note, we are still accepting applicants for all other positions as well, so if you wish to help us out, contact me in the same way listed above. Thank you for your time and help (and flames ) -Nicol Armarfi |

Group: Supornova Fansubs
Project: Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro Positions Recruiting: Jap > Eng Translator, Karaoker, Timer and RAW provider. Experience: Translator needs no experience. I dont need evidence of work I just need an episode a week from the timer and translator. Info: Supornova opened for business in Summer 2007. I tried to take it down the Toku path but had no luck so I am redirecting my efforts. This project looked cool and I searched the web and haven't seen the usual speedsub uptake I usually see. This is a quality sub not for speed. Contact: #supornova @irc.rizon.net gingeranger1@gmail.com EDIT: Updated IRC channel. I have a Translator in line to help out now but am in dire need of a Karaoker, AFX Typesetter, Timer, Distro and Encoder. Need more staff! Last edited by ginge_ranger; 2007-11-11 at 13:12. Group: NEET-Fansubs
Project: Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro Position: Translator, possibly one willing to translate when our main translator is away. IRC Channel: #neet@irc.rizon.net IRC Contact: DrX / Crotoss Okay, so our main translator is busy with his university-related translations... and has put 'em on first priority. It's not like we can force someone to do something for us, and its university-related, so yeah, its a good reason. So if you are willing to help us, message us on IRC. If you don't like Neuro cause of the first episode, give it another try! It's a pretty good show in my humble opinion. |

Hi, I'm owner of Shin-Getter, an established group that's been around for over two years (We formed on May 13 2005), and we have over 100 releases (as well as a competed project, Space Runaway Ideon). I figure by now it's time we have a prettier website, our current website www.shin-getter.net is fine, but I'm wondering if there was any web designer or someone that'd like to help us out
Also, I could really use a TL checker for HEAVY METAL L-GAIM E-mail PronsAmuro@gmail.com ASAP! |
