Anyways, speaking of war; Since I've seen enough airplane meme pics, I had to do one. I even have a good tag line to go with, so here you go

Well I posted a Enforcer OC a fair while back and while it has taken a while I have finally put together her partner, superior, and a forensic specialist. They are all part of the Hell Hound Enforcer Division which specializes in sensitive cases such as internal affairs issues, classified information, classified/secretive departments or personnel, major cases, etc etc etc.
The profile's are not quite finished, as I need to settle on appearances for them and come up with their spells. Anyway what do you guys think about them and what should I probably change?
Spoiler for Katie Croxton:
Appearance:
Her device: (The gem should be violet not white)
Name: Katie Croxton Callsign: Cerberus 1 Gender: Female Age: 23 Faction: Time Space Administration Bureau Rank/Position: TSAB Enforcer Alignment: Neutral Good
Personality:
The best word to describe Katie's personality is reserved. She is generally quiet, rarely raises her voice, and is usually very polite and mannerly. Overall she is a very calm person and it takes a great deal to visibly ruffle her. This is tempered by an inner core and backbone of steel, and she can be quite stubborn. (I'm going for a beware the nice ones feel for her when it comes to her combat skills)
Mage Rank: AAA- Magic Color: Dark Purple Magic Style: Midchildan Device: She uses a custom storage device that goes by the name of Nocturne. It was a gift from her parents when she enrolled in the Armed Forces academy, and it is a rather simple staff with a small violet gem inset in the top. Combat Style: Katie specializes in shooting magic along with barriers, binds, and other things that would generally be considered support magic. (Think of a cross between Nanoha and Yuuno to get an idea of her fighting style)
Spells:
Background:
Katie was born on Midchilda to a recently married and very happy young couple. Her father was a C- ranked mage who worked for a large firm that developed and produced devices and other pieces of equipment for the TSAB Armed Forces. Her mother on the other hand was not a mage and worked as a librarian at the local library.
Two years after Katie was born her father received a significant promotion, but as part of the promotion he was transferred to a research and development facility on Administrated World #93. The family packed up their bags and moved to the new world, which was a lightly populated world on the outskirts of Ordered Space. The company had actually placed the R&D facility there for both security and safety purposes, and the complex itself was actually several miles away from the small town the family lived in.
When Katie was a little over eight and a half years old an Enforcer was sent to the facility to investigate a leak of classified information that had been traced to the facility. Katie met the Enforcer several times during the investigation and she frankly idolized him and the crew of the naval ship that was assisting him. She firmly decided that she was going to join the TSAB Armed Forces and become an Enforcer, and it remained her dream even after the Enforcer left after completing his investigation.
It took her parents some time to come up around to supporting her decision but in the end they did. At the age of twelve Katie was enrolled into the Armed Forces Academy, and was sent off to her training after being given Nocturne by her parents.
Katie graduated in the top ten percent of her class at the academy and proceeded towards becoming an Enforcer. It took her several tries to pass the test but she eventually did and became an Enforcer. She has since made a name for herself as an excellent investigator and a skilled combatant, and is frequently away from home on cases.
She is now part of the Hell Hound Enforcers division, the leader of the Cerberus squad.
Spoiler for James Mazda:
Appearance:
Name: James Mazda
Callsign: Cerberus 2
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Faction: Time Space Administration Bureau
Rank/Position: TSAB Enforcer
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Personality:
James is an open and friendly person who gets along with most people, and sometimes has trouble hiding his emotions. He has a long fuse and is relatively difficult to truly get anger him, but when he gets angry he tends to blow up like a volcano. He can act somewhat immature at times and does have a bit of a prankster streak in him, though those traits are mostly controlled by years of military discipline.
Mage Rank: AA+
Magic Style: Neo-Belkan
Magic Color: Sky-Blue
Device: Rivan uses a short sword called Rivan. It is an armed device that he had custom made for him after joining the Enforcers, before then he used the standard TSAB issue spear.
Combat Style: James is a close combat and defense expert who usually fights using a sword and board style, with his device and a buckler like energy shield. He tends to be at the forefront of a fight, forcing the enemy forces to engage him so his partner can pound away with her longer ranged magic. The two of them have gotten quite good at this and have excellent teamwork.
Spells:
Background:
James was born to a pair of Belkan parents in the Self Administrated Region, where he grew up on a fairly large and prosperous farm. During his childhood he attended one of the church ran schools – which is where he received his basic magical training.
At the age of twelve he joined the TSAB Armed Forces and went through basic training in the Ground Forces Academy. After completing his training he served with the Ground Forces for nearly five years, serving in several different locations across administrated space, before he looked into transferring into the Enforcers on the recommendations and sponsorship of his unit's CO and an Enforcer his unit had worked with.
He went through OCS and graduated with flying colors, and passed the Enforcer's test on his third try. James worked an Enforcer for three and a half years before his record brought him to the attention of Phillip Crown, who asked him to join the Hell Hound Division. James eagerly accepted and has spent the last year and a half as Katie's partner, a relationship that has developed into a close friendship. There are some rumors that the two of them are seeing each other, but so far nothing has come to light to suggest that those rumors are true.
James had a major falling out with his parents and most of his family about three years back and he currently has little to do with them. He is very closed mouth on what happened, and not even Katie or Phillip have much of a clue as to what happened.
Spoiler for Phillip Crown:
Appearance:
Name: Phillip Crown
Callsign: Hellhound 1
Gender: Male
Age: 51
Faction: Time Space Administration Bureau
Rank/Position: Senior Enforcer (Supervisor)
Alignment: Lawful Good
Personality:
Phillip could best be described as a gruff and strict, but caring, veteran. He has been around the block more then once and has the scars, wounds, skills, and experience to prove it. Despite his harsh exterior he really does care for the men and women under his command.
Mage Rank: C+
Magic Color: Light Grey
Magic Style: Midchildan
Device: Phillip rarely uses magic anymore but he does have a tome style device known as the Tome of the Moon, though it is just a somewhat upgraded civilian model.
Combat Style: He specialized in mid to long range shooting and bombardment magics but does not have the mana/power to pull most of them off anymore. However he is a very experienced mage and soldier, and is much more dangerous then his mage rank would imply.
Spells:
Background:
Phillip was born to a pair of middle class office workers (clerks basically) on a recently terraformed planet on the outskirts of TSAB administrated space. Neither of his parents were mages but Phillip displayed a high potential from a very young age. It was quickly arranged for him to receive magical training as he grew up.
He joined the TSAB at the age of twelve, already ranking as an A- mage, and was able to skip the Ground Forces training and go straight into officer training. He graduated from OCS with honors and soon passed the test to join the TSAB Enforcers, though it took him two tries.
Phillip had an excellent and highly distinguished career, and in many ways he was one of his generation's Aces. But that all came to a shuddering halt about seven and a half years ago when he was assigned to investigate a high level group of Lost Logia smugglers. Towards the end of the case one of the smuggler's leaders panicked during a joint TSAB and local/planetary law enforcement raid on the smuggler's primary base. The leader triggered one of the Lost Logia that they were planning to sell on the black market, unleashing a sphere of some strange magical energy that began to engulf the old warehouse.
No one, not even the TSAB's experts, know how the leader triggered the Lost Logia or even what it was originally supposed to do. Phillip was able to seal the artifact but was subsequently caught in a resulting magical explosion that pretty much destroyed said artifact. He very nearly died and probably would have if the other Enforcers and local law enforcement personnel had not gotten him to a medical team within minutes.
It took him nearly a full year to recover from his wounds, and over half of that year was spent in the hospital. But the worst injury was to his Linker Core which was nearly completely shattered/damaged, which would normally result in death. But miraculously the doctors were able to patch it back together and save his life. As a result however Phillip lost most of his magical strength. He had been an AAA rank mage, and probably was not that far from becoming an S- mage. The damage to his linker core rendered him a C+ ranked mage at best, and he could kill himself if he pushed himself to far.
The Enforcers promoted him and transferred him from his old field agent position to a desk job. Phillip nearly decided to retire from the TSAB but in the end he decided to stick with it. He has since climbed the ranks and become the supervisor/commander of the Hell Hound Enforcer Division, which specializes in highly sensitive investigations including internal affairs.
Katie and James are two of his best agents, but he has a fair number of other Enforcers and other personnel in his division as well.
Spoiler for Maiko Corona:
Appearance:
Name: Maiko Corona
Gender: Female
Age: 32
Faction: Time Space Administration Bureau
Rank/Position: Civilian - Contracted Employee, Forensic Specialist
Alignment: Neutral Good
Personality:
Maiko is basically married to her work. She is friendly enough and likes to go out for a drink after work with her coworkers, but in the end she is married to her work. Maiko could best be described as focused, driven, efficient, and hard-working. She often comes across as chilly and/or distant to people who are meeting her for the first time.
Mage Rank: Non-Mage
Magic Color: N/A
Magic Style: N/A
Device: N/A
Combat Style: Maiko is neither a mage nor a trained soldier, but she does carry a stun gun and pepper spray. She has also had some basic self-defense training, the kind commonly carried out by police departments etc, at Phillip's insistence.
Background::
Maiko was born to a B ranked Ground Forces mage and a daycare worker. Her mother, the mage, died giving birth to her due to complications. Despite having a mage parent Maiko has little magical potential, enough to manage a few minor cantrips like most Midchildans can, but not enough to warrant mage training.
She had a relatively normal Midchildan upbringing, though funds were at times tight. Maiko's best friend is a member of the Belkan Saint Church, and actually grew up within the Self Administrated region, and over time Maiko herself joined the church. She is still a fairly devout member today and still in touch with her best friend, who went on to become a Sister.
As the daughter of a TSAB soldier she was entitled to monetary aid for higher education and took advantage of it. Towards the end of her first year of university she decided to become a forensic specialist and work with the Midchildan planetary police. Maiko set to work and accomplished her goal, graduating from university with high honors.
She went to work with the Midchildan planetary police, and then began to take night classes in order to gain a higher degree. A joint police – Enforcer case brought her to the attention of Enforcer Supervisor Philip Crown, and he quickly recruited her for his Hell Hound division.
She is a contracted civilian and not a solider or a combatant, nor is she a field agent. She is a forensic specialist and most often works in her lab at the military base on Midchilda where the Hell Hound Division is headquartered. Maiko is known to be one of the best forensic specialists the division has, despite her youth and relatively low seniority.
Absent teachers give time for small backlog breakers:

A small thing, but wouldn't it be better for Johannes to create his Device under the watchful eyes of the Wolkenritter, rather than the Liezes who are in retirement alongside Graham?

Please R&R!
This girl makes me wonder how she and Keroko would get along, or do in a spar. Both enjoy physical combat, and both... well... enjoy combat more than the other cast members.
One thing though, the other TSAB branches seeing the Ground Forces as inferior (or rather considering their jobs more important) isn't really a blame of Regius. This was the case long before he became Lieutenant General.

Spoiler for Notes:
I blame Shadow of the Colossus for this. Also, the following omake may or may not be part of the story.
Spoiler for Omake? Maybe?:
Kaon Jin sipped from a mug of tea as she looked over an endless pile of papers, grimacing as
the cool temperature of the tea. To call this overtime would be to make a severe understatement,
one in which you may be clobbered by a flying mug for. It was such a lonely and boring night too,
with everyone else out on dates or doing their own thing, leaving this poor lass with nothing to
look forward to. Ahh well, such was life, and a single lonely night filled with work was nothing to
complain or pout about, not when you’ve lived as long as her.
Still, parts of her were getting restless, while other parts complained.
Maybe a break was called for…
Now that she thought about it, Frankie hadn’t been cleaned in a while. For that matter, neither
did that sword. At the same time, she was rather reluctant to draw out that sword; it always gave
her a spooky feeling. At times, she regretted picking up that sword, a memory of ancient Belka,
but she could not bring herself to throw it away. There was something… just strange about it,
and despite all her knowledge she could not figure out what it was. You’d think that someone
would’ve written about a sword whose blade was like ink and a core as red as blood. The
pommel and guard lacked any outstanding designs – had it not been for its color and bizarre aura,
this would’ve been a plain sword.
What the hell was it? Kaon didn’t know. She still held on to it, if anything, as a memento.
The part where Syn rejects the story for its cliche beginning was downright gut burstingly brilliant. :3
I've also been wondering a bit lately... what if part of Kaon's dislike for Keroko was because she -being Olivie's assistant- was very familiar with Alistina, Olivie's personal bodyguard? That might bring a little sting, especially considering how the calm, collective and calculating Alistina is so vastly different from the impulsive, emotional and battle-jumpy Keroko.

Maybe if I can, I'll draw a picture and place it when I eventually update this thing again.

...Xena, out.
Gah! Big wall! Biiiig wall of text!
Like many others, it took a bit of trouble to get past the 'closet lolicon' bit. And yes, I did catch that Yagami residence bit. Explain. >:3
Her magic style... makes me wonder what would happen if Nanoha starts charging a Starlight Breaker, which gathers mana in the region.

Jayson Testarossa: AGE AT DEATH: 67; RELATIVES: Precia (Daughter)
Was one of the five prominent scientific geniuses who worked together to design and create the “Arc-en-Ciel” Slipspace Compression Cannon (uses an ancient techno-magical design found in 130,000-year-old ruins on Al-Hazred – which predate all known human colonizations of the planet – to create a “slipspace bubble” encompassing the target and anything near it, and then causes the ‘bubble’ to compress and collapse in on itself, utterly obliterating anything caught in it), 23 years before the events of the first series; was killed on Midchilda, along with his wife Sera, as one of 79 casualties of a devastating groundquake, 12 years before the events of Nanoha Season 1.
Mikael Alderson-Testarossa: AGE AT DEATH: 31; WIFE: Precia Testarossa (Mikael took her surname as his own due to her higher social standing)
A strategically-gifted man, holding the rank of Rear-Admiral (Upper Half) at the time of his death; returned to the Gentar System bearing horrific news: an unknown and extremely dangerous life form had consumed/infected the rest of his fleet, forcing him to destroy the now-hostile ships; unfortunately, shortly after giving this message after arriving at the outskirts of the system, he was informed that there were more of the creatures onboard his own ship, the Deva; by the time the ship got to high orbit over Gentar IV, almost his entire ship had been consumed, with Mikael and his crew of five others locked on the bridge, the last survivors. To stop the creatures from getting to the planet below, he and the crew decided to self-destruct the ship with them all still on it, to the horror of Mikael’s seven-months-pregnant wife who was listening in on the transmissions from a nearby orbital station; unfortunately, just as the ship was about to go off, some of the creatures hijacked a life-pod and made it down to Gentar IV’s surface, escaping the blast that took Mikael’s life. Within two weeks, the entire planet was overrun, with the creatures nearing an abandoned starport that would have allowed them access to the galaxy at large, and the TSAB had to resort to full-scale orbital plasma bombardment, rendering the entire world a lifeless ball of molten rock and killing the creatures along with 780 uninfected survivors (out of the planet’s original population of 4.7 billion); a dimensional traveler encounter five years after the Wolkenritter Campaign would inform the TSAB of just what could’ve happened if these “Flood” [Native to Galaxy M81] hadn’t been stopped: total galactic infestation and the end of all sentient life. It was determined that the Deva’s sacrifice delayed the Flood’s spread by two days… and they had been three days from the starport when the TSAB started bombing them; this means that Mikael’s sacrifice indirectly saved the galaxy.
Sayuri Lanstar: AGE AT DEATH: 36; HUSBAND: Tarlis Lanstar
Sayuri was not born in the TSAB’s dimension; instead, she was born on an out-of-the-way world with a nonetheless thriving population; the people of this world used ki¬-based techniques instead of magic. Sayuri was the younger sister of the head of a powerful family in one of the major population centers of the planet (she was seen as odd due to having inherited her mother’s orange hair instead of her father’s black, but was still respected). On a routine mission, she fell into a dimensional vortex, being “spit out” on Midchilda with no way to get home (she was declared MIA and presumed dead on her homeworld). She made the best of things, settling in and soon meeting a man, Tarlis, who was in a similar position (though not from her world); also, her presence on Midchilda means she was spared when her nephew Itachi was forced to exterminate the family by a corrupt higher-up in her home town (the man, a “knight-templar” type named Danzō, had placed false evidence of the clan plotting a coup, in an effort to get rid of an obstacle to his ascension as city leader). They soon married, having their first child Tiida, and seven years later having a daughter, Teana. Four years after this, however, a specter of Sayuri’s old life showed up on Midchilda, come to eliminate a potential threat to his own plans: Sayuri’s grandfather, Madara. The man engaged the Sayuri & Tarlis in battle, quickly killing Tarlis. Despite Sayuri awakening her optical ability’s advanced form, she was no match, and was overwhelmed and killed by Madara, cursing him with her last breath. Her 11-year-old son would take responsibility of raising his four-year-old little sister, also learning his parents’ secrets through a secret vid-file left behind by them.
Tarlis ‘Lanstar’: AGE AT DEATH: 39; WIFE: Sayuri Uchiha-Lanstar
Like Sayuri, Tarlis was a stranded dimensional traveler. On his homeworld, he had been a prince, next in line to inherit the throne; however, Tarlis was more practical, more rational, calmer, and less fight-craving than most of his species, something that had his father the King quite perplexed, as Tarlis’ younger brother did not share these traits. Nevertheless, when on an interstellar mission at the age of 16, Tarlis was sucked into a one-way trans-dimensional vortex, leaving his little brother to inherit the line. Tarlis settled down on Midchilda creating the surname “Lanstar” (as his people did not have the traditional idea of a last name), and several years later he met another traveler, Sayuri Uchiha, whom he would soon marry. A few years later, however, Tarlis would hear from dimensional scouts of his homeworld’s destruction at the hands of the youngest prince of the Ician royal family, and would believe his entire race (including his younger brother, Vegeta II) lost. He would pull himself out of his short depression, however, upon learning of the coming arrival of his first child. 11 years later, Tarlis would fall in battle trying to protect his wife Sayuri from her grandfather, shortly thereafter joined in death by Sayuri herself.
Tiida Lanstar: AGE AT DEATH: 18; YOUNGER SIBLING: Teana
After learning of his parents’ true histories, Tiida sought to protect his little sister from any further danger, working hard to train himself to be able to protect her. He enlisted in the TSAB and rapidly rose through their ranks, becoming an A-Rank enforcer at age 17. A year later, while pursuing the wanted mage Teradoc Eisenhorn (whom he had managed to wound but not enough to facilitate capture), Tiida was stopped by a bizarre, spiky-orange-haired figure. Tiida correctly identified the man as a subordinate of the person who’d killed his parents, now sent to kill him as well, and the “man”, who identified himself as “Pain of the Deva Path”, engaged Tiida in battle. Despite putting up an admirable fight, Tiida was ultimately defeated and killed by Pain, his quarry escaping. The lack of knowledge of Tiida’s true killer would lead to his denouncement and ridicule among his higher-ups; one doubts that they’d have demeaned him if they’d known he had actually put up a decent (yet doomed) fight against an SS-Rank foe. Fortunately, Tiida’s efforts ensured that Madara & Pain had no knowledge of Teana’s existence; thinking their job done, Madara’s forces never again came to Midchilda.
Compliments, MINOR nitpicks, constructive criticism accepted; NO FLAMES PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE BE NICE I’M NEW HERE
The biggest flaw I see lies in Tiida's profile, as the guy who killed him was captured later on.

Spoiler for note (1):
(1) In the first days of OCT1, it was GUREN LAGANN all over the place LIKE THAT IN RED!. Then it was Code Geass, then Gundam Zero and Code Geass aagin. See the pattern?
It was Warcraft first with the entry of Keroko, 40K later with Glock. And that was my fault as well, as Lowe never intended for me to bring the Necrons in, he merely used the symbol. But crack has a way of spreading in ways we don't expect. Like Tiberium... or should I say bluecheesium?

Well, yes, Lynn did call in, but she failed to convey others were joining in as well. Having surprise elements in training is all well and dandy, but these surprise elements are meant for the trainees, not the trainers. Trainers need to be aware of what will happen when, lest situations like these develop.
Which is one error I will accuse Nanoha of making. She accepted Lynn's challenge, but Lynn's challenge had nothing to do with training the forwards. This was a personal battle for her own enjoyment and training. The flaw in this is that training is just that: Training. It's supposed to prevent serious injury of the trainees, and it's supposed to be expected that mistakes will be made and things will go wrong, and therefore the supervisors of the training (in this case Nanoha) have to keep a close eye on what the trainees are doing. Nanoha, however, went off to do her own thing.
Long story short: The first fault lies with Lynn for not discussing with Nanoha what the plan was, the second fault lies with Nanoha for not thinking like a trainer.
... So yeah, everyone is it fault. <_<

'Sets up a few emotional knots I wanted to work out of her character and gives me a good core basis for a scene idea I'm getting listening to 'Life Light' by Andy Hunter. as well as makes a much clearer method of me to set up a Crash/Lynn pairing. (Had this idea a while back.)
As a note, this adds juicy depth and more personality to the story. Adapting to this bit is nifty.

Background::
Hmm, nothing really stands out as 'must fix' at first glance. Though maybe a small suggestion. If I recall we also have a forensic division of the TSAB here in OC, it might be fun to have Maiko work alongside the OC's in that division, or maybe even be a part of it.
@Keroko: Did Johannes get help from the Wolkenritter while designing his device? Yes, as they would know what stresses a Belkan device would need to be able to go through.
Did the Wolkenritter help with the final building? No, because although they've been maintaining their devices for as far back as they can remember, they lack the resources/knowledge to build one from scratch. Though I'll probably update my copy of his info to clarify this.
I do see a difference between having the skills to keep something in working order, and the skills needed to build the item to start with.
Thanks for the reply.

1. I'm sorry about that, but I couldn't help it. I know what happened the LAST time I wrote a potentially h4xx skill without explaining everything I could about it without spoiling story or anything - I'm not making the same mistake again.
2. That particular one was a joke - I was thinking 'lol DnD Disadvantage Points!' and then I just wrote it. Never expected everyone to pick it up, and then for me to end up writing CRACK about it.
Explain? Explain...what?
[MJ]Hwee hee hee!
*moonwalks away* You'll find out soon enough.
Ow![/MJ]
3. It really makes me wonder too. Shall we take a bet in streets? I bet one main street and three unlucky alleyways, not factoring in the Blaster Bits Multiplier Effect.
Yeah I agree, seems a little thrown together haphazardly. Altogether, it looks like times are tough for potential OC posters at the moment. Oh well, i'm a stickler for pain
Spoiler for OC: Mimi:
There were words here. But they're gone now.
Please R&R!
What bugs me the most here is that this character somehow slipped past me. Then Keroko's backlog breaker brought it to my attention.
And similar to Keroko, I am now curious how well Mimi would get along with Noland. Physical fighters, unrelenting warriors, and incredible toughness. Hell, she's got a spell that's interestingly similar to his.
The Monster of Midchilda meets the Knight of Calamity? Should be fun.
And as such, the exploration of Wallachia begins further. The shorts following this will NOT be a rehash of every other short with her (knock out, devoure, laugh + gore). I'm going to explore more, doing stuff different but keeing her in the center and telling more backstory while at the same time giving her character development.
Oh and excuse the first part of this. I couldn't write romance even if my life depended on it so it's cheesy as hell.
Spoiler for A Girl and Her Vengeance:
Sergeant Francis Litch couldn't let go of the little box he had in his uniform. It was red, clad in a soft material and held the surprise he had prepared for his girlfriend. He was still on duty, as it was in the middle of the day, but he had managed to sneak out of the office to meet her. She had planned to do the same and it was only a minute left until she would be there.
They had been together for over three years, romance blooming at every corner and not a single doubt in each of their minds. They've had fights now and then but what couple didn't? It was natural; the display of a healthy relationship. It was almost like in the old stories, true love that is granted through some weird wish.
Francis was immensely nervous. His hands had a weak shake in them and sweat ran down his back. Why wasn't she here yet? Maybe she had gotten upheld by an officer at her department? Damnit.
"Francis!" The female voice carried anticipation and he recognized it. A wave of certainty flowed into him, replacing his worry.
"Herzia. I thought someone caught you on the way out," he smiled and rose from the parkbench. She was jogging down the pebble path in the park, a crunching noise coming from her boots. The uniform she had was distinct for an Investigator of the TSAB and it complimented her figure perfectly.
She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before settling down on the bench. Francis glanced around the park, trying to calm his heart down.
"So, what was this important thing you wanted to tell me?" Herzia asked.
The sun is shining and the birds are singing. I can't falter now. I'll just...
"Herzia. I'm just going to get straight to the point," Francis said, his voice a bit shaky. He sat down on the bench and faced her, retrieving the small box from his pocket and opening it before her. A silver diamond ring sparkled brilliantly in the sunlight, giving it an almost holy aura floating around it.
"...This..."
"Herzia Prias. Will you marry me?"
The shocked expression on Herzia's face and the silence dragging out the seconds was mixed signals for Francis. He probably had been too frank and forward. There was no way-
"Yes," Herzia answered with a magnificent smile, gently grasping his head and kissing him. A block of concrete was lifted from Francis' heart, replaced by an enveloping sense of inner peace. He had succeeded. The worst was over.
There were no words or tears. It was a silent agreement between the two, a link of love and trust.
The bond of humans.
Disgusting. I want to puke. Scitzy, do you want to have some fun?
[Always, my child. I was getting bored.]
A faint and silent breeze of wind passed through Herzia's hair. It was cold and terrifying for reasons she couldn't figure out. It felt... wrong. She opened her eyes and pulled back from Francis. His eyes were still closed and a smile turned his lips. But he was so light.
"Your lover has that taste of romance all over him. I don't like it very much."
Still having her hands on Francis's cheeks, she glanced over to her right and glared at the girl that had suddenly appeared. She sat on the ground with Francis' torso in her arms, sucking his blood straight from his slashed neck. It was still flowing greatly from his veins, his heart still not giving up.
Herzia was frozen in place and just stared at the sudden carnage, unable to give out any emotion. She couldn't even release the head she still held close to her face in her arms. Blood dripped from the remains onto the bench and painted the faded white a glorious carmine red.
"Wallachia von Abram," was the only thing that came out of her throat. Archived memories returned, flowing her mind with information.
The Blood Maiden looked up from sucking the corpse dry and stared back with wide eyes. "How do you know my name? No, that isn't my name. Don't call me by that name."
Herzia put Francis' head on the bench with a caring and slow movement. She patted it gently and brushed away hair that had laid itself strangely on his head. She had her eyes locked on Wallachia all the time.
"You've killed so many people. You always got away and now you are here," Herzia said and stood up. Tears had unknowingly began flowing from her eyes. Suppressed emotions boiling under her skin. "You killed Francis. You killed my colleague too a year ago."
"Your collegue?" Wallachia asked, tilting her head slightly.
[Patrick Trilz. The wussy, pathetic male you disemboweled last April, my child,] Scitzavrenignas said. His red outer shell appeared around Wallachia's left arm and pulsed his light as he talked.
Something clicked inside Wallachia's head and her face brightened as the memory returned. "Oh, him! I liked him. He tasted good and was fun to play with."
"Shut up! You pathetic monster, you demonic child! We saved you from that insane murderer and this is how you repay us? For years I've wondered why you've done it, why someone like you would lose her mind and follow a low-life son of a bitch's footsteps." Herzia pulled out her device and activated it. A blade of energy extended, glowing as blue as the ocean. "I'm going to kill you. I'll put a stop to you right here, you bitch!"
Wallachia flung her head backwards and laughed. Her body heaved itself up and down from the powerful effort, Francis' body slipping from her hold as she grabbed her stomach muscles laughing.
"What-"
"Did you hear that, Scitzy?" Wallachia said and pointed at Herzia. "This useless lovey-dovey girl thinks she can stop me! That's the best thing I've ever heard. Only a few people has told me that but the look on her face is priceless. It actually has hope!"
"You fucking bitch! I regret ever finding you and closing the case. You should have been left in that guy's care. Getting raped and beaten every day, your screams not being heard by anyone. You fucking deserve it."
"I wasn't!" Wallachia screeched and stood up. "I loved him! You took him away from me! What the hell do you know?"
"You just did the same, you ignorant child! Your head is so incredibly messed up you can't see your own doings!"
"This isn't the same thing," Wallachia said, her face dark from rage, and held up Scitzavrenignas in the air. "Deploy!"
"Wolfen, forward attack!"
Wolfen, the glowing sword device and a companion to Herzia for years; the air around it tingling with mana and power, appeared out of Herzia's hand. She grabbed its handle with both hands and thrust forward with gritted teeth.
Scitzavrenignas materialized fully on Wallachia's arm and managed to deflect the attack before it connected with Wallachia's stomach. She flinched and jumped backwards to get out of the sword's radius. Another grin sneaked around on her mouth.
"I haven't fought in a while. Scitzy, assist me."
[Always. Blood Injection!]
Wallachia's grin contorted into a sneer as her muscles twitched and an audible cracking was heard. Her arms and legs darkened slightly as their blood circulation increased, draining color from her face. A transformation to a beast of raw strength.
"The hell are you doing to yourself?," Herzia said and hesitated.
[Manipulating her source of life] Scitzavrenignas stated. [She won't be able to communicate for a few minutes. Good luck.]
With an impressive and surprising speed, Wallachia jumped forward and slashed at Herzia with Scitzavrenignas. The blood red claw cleaved through the air as Herzia dodged just in time and rebounded just a meter away. She brought Wolfen to bear again and swept the blade towards Wallachia's side.
[Blood Shield!]
A circle of red appeared where Herzia was aiming and Wolfen struck the now solid object head-on. The blade of energy bent slightly, lacking the power to cleave through, and leaving Herzia stunned for the fraction of a second from the backlash. She managed to see eyes glowing red before the claw came around again for a new strike.
This time it connected and sent her flying into the park bench. Splinters of wood was sent flying and the metal holding it together bent as her barrier jacket took the brunt of the impact. Still, despite the heavy protection it gave, Wallachia had managed to penetrate her skin. A small dribble of blood shone on the tip of Scitzavrenignas.
[Blood Tap!]
As the command was given, that particular blood spill disappeared into the device. It thumped once as the blood was injected into Wallachia, making her snarl in pain for a short moment before getting back her focus. She still had the manical grin on her face, completely disconnected from the real world.
"What are...? You monster...!" Herzia whispered and readied Wolfen again.
Wallachia attacked first, lunging forward with claw-like hands forward, like that of a pouncing lion. It was her mistake, as Herzia bent down and, with calculated precision, countered with Wolken. The energy blade cut into Wallachia's arm, grinding through flesh and touching bone, and threw Wallachia off balance. She crashed into the ground behind Herzia who spun around immediately to face her again.
Slightly dazed from the sudden halt, Wallachia shook her head and looked at her wound. It had already begun to close itself, shutting off the bleeding but draining her from the inside. Herzia figured what was about to happen and wasted no time attacking again.
[Bloody Hail!]
Hundreds of small spikes suddenly spewed out of Scitzavrenignas. They were hard as steel and cut through Herzia's defense in an instant. She canceled her attack quickly and defended against it, raising a barrier in front of her. The red spikes pinged off it without breaking through.
The strain on her mana supply was becoming an increasing issue.
"Shit. I can't keep up."
When the hail of spikes stopped, she looked around the park and noticed Wallachia had disappeared... or so she was taught to believe. She spun around on a heel and faced the ambush coming from behind, Wolfen's blade of energy blazing with anticipation.
Only nothing was there. She stared at the other side of the park, with its trees swaying in the wind and a flock of birds taking flight against the sky. Suddenly, everything had died down and she still stood standing.
"She really fled? I... I survived!" She chucked Wolfen tip-first into the ground and rested upon him. Her body felt like a lump of meat, empty of strength, and her face was burning of sweat and heat. "I won."
That's when Wallachia, hiding in the tree just a few meters from Herzia, made her move and jumped into the air. Scitzavrenignas dematerialized again, diminishing all the effects he had conducted upon Wallachia and with only her weight, combined with her hands closed into fists, delivered the blow on Herzia that knocked her out cold.
"No. I always win. Silly girl."
*
The Blood Maiden wrapped a bandage around the wound she had received in the battle. She shuddered and clenched her teeth as the adrenalin had begun to wear off, letting the burning pain rise from her arm. The area around it were itchy, where the clogged blood had made its home. At least it had stopped bleeding a few minutes ago. Her Regeneration spell hadn't had enough energy to close the wound completely before.
"My own blood doesn't have a nice taste," Wallachia said. "It feels wrong too."
[It's only natural, my child. It comes from your body, hence you have lost it. It's your own life-force you are devouring,] Scitzavrenignas remarked.
"Yeah. It's a good thing I got her then," she said and turned around to face Herzia who sat in a chair with armrests. Metal binds tied her wrists and ankles to the chair's limbs. Magical bindings wouldn't work against a mage of her caliber.
"That reminds me. That Patrick, or whatever his name, was quite tasty. Just a normal soldier though, so I can't imagine how this moron will taste while I let my mouth seek her out."
Wallachia picked up a rusty old fork from the table behind her and jabbed Herzia on the thigh with it. She woke up with a gasp from her pained slumber. Her eyes were full of confusion, looking at her surroundings as if possessed before focusing on Wallachia. They switched to rage and disgust.
"What... what did you do..." she coughed forth. Her head was a storm of confusing pain coming from everywhere in her bruised and beaten body. Her muscles ached horribly and a few teeth in her mouth had been smashed out of position. The metallic taste of blood was terrible.
"Your device is technically dead. It needs some rebuilding," Wallachia said and pointed at a corner. Herzia's device blinked weakly thanks to its backup power mode in the darkness that surrounded it. Its shaft was broken in three places and the crystal head was crushed.
[I shall return to my slumber, my child. I do not wish to disturb while you have your fun.] Scitzavrenignas faded from her arm until he disappeared completely.
"Do you see this fork?" Wallachia asked and held it up. Herzia focused on it and nodded with uncertainty.
"I had to dig it up from my toolbox, so you should be thankful. This is what I used for Patrick. I never washed it since."
Horror and nasuea rippled over Herzia's face but she kept quiet.
"I'm sure you want to know what happened to him. Do you?"
"No. Just kill me if that's your goal. I'll come back from the dead to hunt you down," Herzia sneered.
"Alright, then I'll tell you what happened." Wallachia flopped onto the table and dangled her legs over the floor, completely ignoring Herzia's negative response.
"It was warm day in April. I did my usual procedure; followed him around, whacked him out at the best opportunity and tied him up here. Actually, in that exact same chair you are sitting in. Anyway, he screamed and screamed all the time. 'Please don't kill me! I have a wife and child! Boohohoho.'" Wallacia giggled at the memory. Herzia was too stunned to do anything else than stare. "I remember I took this fork and brushed him around the neck with it. Softly, so very careful. It must have tickled because he flinched sometimes."
She jumped down from the table and walked around Herzia, standing right behind her. She dragged the fork over the neck just as she had said. Herzia shuddered involuntarily.
"It must tickle you too I guess. I kept going like that for a few minutes, watching him shudder and twitch. He was probably excited over what I would do to him."
She removed the fork and walked around to face her again. Herzia followed her with her eyes all the time, not releasing her lock on those red holes of death glowing with insanity.
"Then I sat down on his lap, like this." She put her hands behind Herzia's neck and sat down on her with either legs on her sides. She was just a few centimeters away from Herzia's face. "I looked right at him, feeling his fear and confusion. I love seeing fear but you are different. I think it's more rage on your part. You are not scared at all."
Herzia bent forward until their nosetips touched and smiled. "Who would be afraid of a useless bitch like you? You are a monster, a disgusting creature walking around as a little girl. You think you are beyond everyone and everything. You are an egoist and a narcissist."
She pulled her head back and eyed Wallachia while grinning. Wallachia's face was a mixture of amusement and insult. Even if her smile gave away nothing, her eyes twitched from time to time.
"Big words from someone who are to be killed," she said, confusion tainting her voice.
"I don't think you can kill me. I don't think anyone stood up to you before, calling you names like I do. Some tried but gave up. I, on the other hand, am going to mock you until I die. I will never give in to inhuman beings like you. You are going to live with my words in your head for the rest of your life you pathetic bitch."
Herzia rummaged about in her mouth before spitting Wallachia straight in the face. She jumped back by surprise and wiped it off with her arm. She was shaking from holding the tears in and the emotions threatening to explode from her insides. Not yet. She needed to enjoy her.
"I took this fork!" Wallachia exclaimed and held the fork high. She bit her lip to stop herself from inserting it into Herzia's skull. "I rammed it into his stomach, let the flesh stick to the sharp points and dragged it out! The delicious blood flowed out of him like a balloon filled with water and I drank to my hearts content! He screamed over and over again but I kept drinking! I rammed this fork in his arms, his legs, his crotch! I rammed it everywhere I could, screaming of satisfaction from his red wine! His entrails spewed out the more I rummaged about and I fed on them! The soft texture of liver, the taste of heart, sucking the his veins dry!"
Wallachia threw the fork away and let herself cry as much as her body allowed. Herzia had trouble keeping her stomach acid from seeping up in her throat as the story went on. But she wouldn't give up.
"I digged out his mouth, I kissed him and drank. So very tasty. So very delicious." Wallachia wiped the tears away but they didn't stop flowing. She hulked and sniffed, making the situation so bizarre it didn't fit into this world.
"He moaned and yelled from satisfaction! He liked it! The sound of his deep breathing and heaving chest was so enthralling I couldn't stop and enjoy for a few seconds more. I wish I had but... now I got you here and I'll enjoy you so fucking much."
She walked over to where she had thrown the fork and picked it up. Her knuckles grew white from the power she unleashed on it and strode up to Herzia, staring at her with tear-filled eyes and breathing heavily.
Herzia just grinned back but her wall was down. Her eyes showed fear and horror, way beyond her abilities to supress.
"You are showing fear. I can see it in your eyes... You are scared!" Wallachia shouted and laughed. "So pathetic, you are so damn useless. Cry as I did, feel my pain!"
Wallachia rose the fork and shoved it straight into Herzia's thigh, piercing the tough flesh and touched bone. Herzia screamed and jolted in her chair, pain soon to fold itself around her.
Wallachia left the fork inserted and bent forward, her face close to Herzia's. "I was hoping we could have a lot of fun. I had my toolbox ready but you are a very special case, making me lose control like that. I consider that special."
She let her hand linger along Herzia's arm before nuzzling her neck. She draw small breaths through her nose, taking in the scent of Herzia and sighed.
"You smell good. That's promising."
While Herzia shuddered from the unpleasant touch, Wallachia let her tongue make its path in the neck. She kissed and smothered it with a gentle touch.
"Bastard. Just get on with it, I won't let you have your so-called fun," Herzia said.
"Fine. Then lets see how you taste." Wallachia stopped licking Herzia's neck and went down on her knees in front of one of her restrained hansd. She forced it open so she could grab a hold of Herzia's fingers.
"What are you-"
"Dinner."
Wallachia opened her mouth and enclosed one of Herzia's finger in it. She licked and played with it in her mouth, all the while observing Herzia's reaction, which was pure confusion. Wallachia gave her a little smile for that.
Teeth sinking into flesh was the next thing that struck Herzia's mind and she uttered a yell. Wallachia bit down hard and slowly pulled the skin together with its flesh backwards, exposing the bone beneath. The pain was unimaginable.
"Mm... I was right," Wallachia mumbled between bites and withdrew, letting saliva and blood hang between her mouth and Herzia's fingertips. Herzia had meanwhile managed to get control of her breathing, repressing the pain soaring through her being.
"That's all? Fucking cannibal, that's all that you are."
"You taste good," Wallachia said and ignored the uttering. She wiped the blood off her mouth with her sleeve and licked her lips. "But... I think I know how to make it even better."
She grabbed the fork still stuck in Herzia's leg and dug it in deeper. Herzia's face, if even possible, contorted into discomfort and more pain.
"Your endurance is astounding. Most people would have fainted by now. Look at that finger of yours. Your blood is flowing freely and its bone are visible. You haven't even thrown up."
"I won't throw up before someone like you, worthless-"
"Your repertoire is getting annoying and repetitive," Wallachia said, interrupting her and pulled the fork out. Herzia winced and sneered.
"Good. I'm going to say it as many times as I want, until I can pound it into that skull of yours."
"No. That's enough of that." With a swing so sudden Herzia failed to register, the fork planted itself through her cheek. It went straight through until it pierced the other side and Wallachia let it be. Herzia's cheeks was stuck on the fork, preventing her from utter anymore coherent sentences. An incoherent scream and tears running wild was the only reaction.
"Now... let me enjoy this in peace." Wallachia's face was void of the emotion of rage and satisfaction that had been there prior. Her voice carried the feeling of disappointment. "I'm going to eat your thigh now. I'm going to devour your flesh more, gourge myself in your blood until I'm satisfied. Your bones will be marked with teeth, grinding marks into the white surface."
True to her words, Wallacia went down on her knees again and pushed her thumb into the wound her fork had inflicted before. She digged around in it, feeling the tremors of Herzia's nerves reacting to the motion. She smiled a little, emotions returning for what came closer.
Wallachia pulled her thumb out after a few seconds and licked it off while staring at Herzia, who responded to the stare with an inaudible insult.
"Can't hear you," Wallachia said with genuine disinterest and took her first bite of Herzia's thigh. She ripped and teared at it, making sure to catch all the flesh, nerves and muscles that came with it. Her teeth and mouth was strengthened by a passive force from within, making the previous insults of being a beast closer to the truth.
A bite there and a bite there. It went on for hours, Herzia screaming incoherently due to the fork piercing her mouth and Wallachia feasting on her body. Delicious strains of flesh and the scent of blood urged Wallachia on. As the feast continued her deep breathing escalated and she uttered a moan at times with her mouth full of meat. It was providing a such strong satisfaction she couldn't resist.
"I'm amazed," she said between chewing and grinning. "Despite this bloodloss you haven't fainted once. I admire your essence of life, Herzia. Still opposing me in the end."
Wallachia's hands searched themselves on top of Herzia's thighs, moving upwards over her stomach with a soft touch all the time remaining. Wallachia smiled as she rounded her breasts, slowing down to tease until she reached Herzia's neck. She lay herself out on top of her and stared into Herzia's eyes so close that they could feel each other's breathing.
"Thank you. You were delicious." Wallachia kissed her on the lips, without any noise of rejection or insult. Herzia's heart was beating slower and weaker, her endurance drained and crushed. She didn't have the energy to fight anymore. Her cried-out eyes stared back at Wallachia with plead.
"Au revoir."
Wallachia moved down again and eyed Herzia's throat. It invited her for the feast, the final offering. With her jaw hardened and her teeth ready, she bit down hard and let the punctured veins pump Herzia's remaining blood into her mouth. It was slow and calm. Only a gurgle was emitted from Herzia before her eyes closed for the final time.
[She's dead, my child,] Scitzavrenignas said when he materialized himself again on her arm. His internal processor immediately started the refining process of her blood, cleansing out potential toxins and anomalies.
Wallachia rose from her victim and played with her tongue inside her mouth, while a grin began to take form.
"I love life, Scitzy," she said and looked down on her open hand. Blood was smeared all over it, giving it a sinister red color. Bits of flesh still hang from her fingertips in a mix of blood and saliva. "It's so beautiful when you look at it like this. It's all open to me, just waiting to be absorbed."
[It's only natural, my child.]
"Yes, it really is." She put her bloody palms over her face and smeared it all over. A giggle rose from her throat. "I want more, more, more! More life! More humans! More power!"
Wallachia burst into a laughter of madness, tears streaming down her face for reasons that went beyond herself. The echo carried itself through the empty space of the underground resident building just a few blocks from the Ground Forces HQ.
well anyways while waiting for certain associates to finish, out of boredom and again another pending idea, here's another device vector (trace) that i am working on.
If there is some sort of a forensic group then she would probably have worked with them before, though she's part of the Enforcers rather then that group.
Anyway I'm hoping to get started working on a fanfic with these OCs fairly soon.
So I'm patching together the planning for the next two chapter here. I probably won't start writing 'till my writing fatigue calms down, but I'm getting brainstorms that just can't be silenced unless I jot down some notes. This will of course, help me do my writing.
Spoiler for 9 and 10 structure:
Chapter 9: Chain Inaction
Scn 1 Midday
Vivio's getting to see where she's going to go to school soon. (St. Hild) apply liberal amounts of Cute Vivio perspective.
They come across Roland, who's getting the runaround of his life trying to find the right channels to take care of the promises he made in chapter eight.
Scn 2
They run into Lindy, who is helping with the processing work on Vivio. Conversation drifts into the soil sample and such from the selene incident and Sektor 21. Technical details and exposition. Reveal the uranium link, and then misdirect the reader.(Somehow) from latching on the to the Uranium == Nukes that will inevitably occure.
Scn 3
Daedalus greets them, Vivio becomes unsettled around him, Roland notices Vivio's subtle reactions to Daed. Roland and Daedalus come to polite disagreement over political circumstances.
End scene with someone catching up with Roland and saying something has happened.
Chapter 10: Fallout
Scn 1 Twelve hours after Chapter eight.
Crash wakes up: Tia and Subaru reviewing EOFM 6-7, making snarky comments at each other over it.
Chewout-ish conversation with Vita followed by medical commentary by Shamal, Technical by Shari.
Crash watches his rampage before leaving the room upset.
Scn 2
Roland reviews battle in Hayate's Room with Capts Takamachi & Bardou.
Chews out Nanoha and Lynn fiercely while dissecting the 'incident'.
Hayate tries to take fault for the fiasco, is told to 'shut up' by Roland after she comments that she's the RF6 Commander and that makes it her fault. (Ouch)
Lynn accepts responsibility due to the failure to communicate.
Roland comments that in the end, the failure of protocall would have made no difference in the rampage except that Nanoha might have just blasted Crash outright. Dismisses the Capts.
Private conversation with Hayate. Admits that technically its his fault for pushing Crash too hard and that throwing Crash into a Nanoha scenario with no warning was his idea anyway.
Shamal enters and gives brief psychological assessment of Crash.
Scn 3
Lynn retreats to the rooftop of RF6 'beating herself up' over 'failing', finds Crash there staring into the city.
She asks if he's okay. They begin talking. Crash sulks, feeling he's becoming to dangerous to be around.
Lynn asks him what caused him to be like this. Crash recounts the Combat Cyborg Incident that started it all. He wonders how the hell he managed to survive, and what kind of luck he has.
Lynn points out that he out performed trained combatants in an all out nine to one brawl, and that perhaps he's a better combatant than he thinks, if only he had confidence in his own actions.
Lynn coaxes crash into a little controlled sparing. Telling him to hit her. Crash hesitates, but she informs him firmly that he WILL NOT harm her, especially out of his armor. Lynn walks him through a few simple 'hit here', 'block this', 'step here' exercises and watches how fast he reacts.
Start playing "Life Light" by Andy Hunter as this progresses and picks up into a full out sparing match.
Lynn builds Crash's confidence enough to have him activate his armor. She constantly reminds him he's doing well, that the armor is nothing more than an extension of himself. She walks him through a truncated routine as before before it turns into a full scale sparing match on the rooftop.
Time this part for the first main chorus: "Whenever your light shines! I can always find! Something more alive!"
Progress this into Lynn pointing out that he's got incredible control of himself by bouncing around RF6, forcing him to land on balconies and such without breaking them, including at least one landing on Hayate's balcony.
Progress this by the second Main Chorus into a full speed airial 'dance' as they fly and bound all over the Cranagan cityscape.
Interject in the post 2nd chorus slowdown some conversation between Lynn and Crash that he really has all the skills needed, he's just not applying them. Have crash reach his mid-story epiphany. Climax the scene with him grabbing Lynn and taking her supersonic over the ocean, dance them around the thunderheads of the storms approaching the coastline during third chorus as Crash learns to have fun again. (Something he hasn't really done since he first got the Battery System.) Have Lynn smile truely for the first time since she was introduced.
Have them fly back to RF6 as song winds down. Close the chapter on a positive note with Crash and Lynn having inadvertantly bonded with each other.
Prepare to start the chapter 11, 12, and 13 epic battle run.
As a side note, I'm making nuke related hints out of the chapter titles themselves. 'Chain Inaction' a play into the words 'Chain Reaction' and also a good description of what's going on with the unrecognized threat to the TSAB I will be leading into in 9. And of course, Fallout... which is an obvious refference, and an obvious pointer to what's going on in chapter 10.
