Well, if you like formulaic harem anime where the girl beats up on the main guy for no reason then go for it.

Well i think the manga is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. But the anime is good too...i guess. The girls look way better in the manga too, especially motoko, in my opinion.

Yup the Magna is better and more satisfying then the Anime. Also it has a true ending which nicely ends it besides the anime version, the manga readers would know what I mean by that.

What about Love Hina again? Does that finish the story like the manga or is it just a way to milk profit on a popular series? And how does this series compare to other romantic comedies such as Chobit and Fruits Baskets (only ones i've seen) is it as good or better? Or do you think people only feel it's better because it came first?

Nope Love Hina Again doesn't even come close to finishing the story in the manga. The leave out like 3-5 volumes of story and twist the ending of LHA to make it seem like thats the real ending but it really isn't. I usally recomend to ppl to read the manga after they see the anime tv series & LHA OVA's because theirs a lot their missing out. Since im obvious an LH fan I may be bias but I think Love Hina is better then Chobits & Fruit Baskets.

If u read the manga its not worht watching. FORTUNATELY i watched before i read. So i wasnt disappointed w/ the anime, i was amazed at the manga. ITs a good anime i guess, Naru and motoko looks so much like crap in the anime tho. Manga makes them look waaaaaaaaaaaaaay beter.

*read the manga before watching the anime*

Yes, the manga is the greatest thing I've ever seen produced by Japan

I was disappointed with the anime, but I liked Love Hina Again better than the TV series. I thought that the animation was better, and it was more like the manga (but still far from it). I've read all 14 volumes of the manga 6 or 7 times now I even imported the bi-lingual version to help me learn more Japanese

So yeah, if you haven't been exposed to LH before, then go ahead and watch the anime first, since most people who haven't read the manga and watched the anime seem to enjoy it. But make SURE you get your hands on the manga somehow, and you will be like

Oh and by the way, in my opinion, the following animes are ordered:

Fruits Basket > Chobits > Love Hina

The same thing happen to me when it was broadcasted in my country. I stop chasing it after the 4th or 5th episode and only watch it occassionally after that.

Simply put, the manga is better.

um if you're an idiot who's linear purpose in life is to get into a good college ...be weak and scrony, and pick up an insanily aggressive female chick who doesn't hesitate to literally kill you ten times over then by all means its every shallow persons dream. Here's to being the scrony ugly guy who somehow manages to attract all the chicks.

Well, if your life is ever as interesting as Keitaro's, we can make an anime about it, OK?

BTW, to the original poster, buy the DVDs. Love Hina fansubs have sorry quality; they're from c. 1999.

that was just a blunt statement regarding "the whole reflecteds alot to in real life"...

As for me, on the contrary, I avoid girls like the black plague of death that come to suck your sympathy/emotions, and your wallet dry!
P.S there already is an anime reflecting on my biography. Its called SUPER MEGA GENIUS LUCKY COOL EXTREMELY HANDSOME TEEN IDOL! Now in stereo! Go buy it today at your nearest video store!
