Osomatsu-san

Manga Osomatsu is getting another TV anime adaptation

Some info regarding the series:
Quote:
Osomatsu-kun is a manga series by Fujio Akatsuka which ran in Shōnen Sunday from 1962 to 1969. It has been adapted into two different anime series of the same name, the first in 1966, produced by Studio Zero, and the second in 1988, produced by Pierrot and aired across Japan on Fuji Television and the anime satellite television network, Animax.

This series helped establish Akatsuka's reputation as a gag comic artist, long before his other popular manga, Tensai Bakabon. Osomatsu-kun has appeared in numerous special issues of Shōnen Sunday. Akatsuka has also included several manga adaptations of routines from Charlie Chaplin movies in the series.

Won the 10th Shogakukan Manga Award in 1964.

Title : Osomatsu-san.

This is interesting, great cast, and great director for comedy series.
Never watch the 80's series (Osomatsu-kun), though.

The 1st episode is the biggest troll of the season. Gintama's almost staff strike again. I didn't understand what was going on at first

From what I saw, the episode was black and white for like 5 minutes and then shifted to sports parody and Attack on Titan references. I had a "WHAT" by the time the episode was over.

This is like someone remade The Flintstones and turned it into a Game of Thrones parody.

At the start when they were worrying about how they could make the anime popular my first thought was "just form an idol group!"...

This was hilarious, I'm in.

I literally could not breathe once the coloured moment started. Best episode 1 this season. Also as amazing as the "Fly Away" moment

Animes were once black and white? NORWAY!!! O.O

And I didn't got any of those Showa jokes, like whats up with the hand on ear thingie or the SHEEEZ stance or any of that! That said, those bros acting as characters from all of those popular animes to make sure they are also popular in this "anime warring era" was really fun. "BL academy", lolz. xD

Best bro was straight guy bro who's soul broke upon the naivity, optimism and enthuism of his brothers and friends. His SORRY at the end was great while all the others acted as if next week there won't be another episode. xD

Looks like next week gonna be serious, now that those "kuns" have become "sans" they need jobs to feed themselves and need to grow up a little and be more responsible if they wanna fit in the new age of 2015.

Seriously though, somebody please explain to me why those Showa jokes were supposed to be funny back then!!!

This was hilarious, I'm in.
And have them be voiced by some of the biggest male VA's. Clearly the production staff is already on to something.

Loved the first episode.

Episode 1:
Loved the art-style shift from a Showa-era anime to the present. Also, those parodies are so hilarious to watch. Oh well...

If they can maintain even half that level of the crazy for the rest of the series, I'm in.
