There are several hints already that this happens a few years after the 5th HGW. Rin was mentioned to be in the Clock Tower. El Melloi II has Iskandar's catalyst so 4th HGW happened. Francesca also mentioned about the Einzberns being too uptight in every HGW, using a new class in 3rd, using a major hero in 4th and making another major hero insane in 5th. Orlando even specifically mentions the 5th HGW and Berserker.

And we have DAs and DAAs around this time but I doubt that's a tie-in to Tsukihime.

I think "Mystery non-existent route" is just way to say: "I am not telling which route is cannon, that's why we left it ambiguous". Shiro and co will likely not play major role in FSF and it's very possible fake war would be same regardless of route. So FSF take place after 5th war, -insert route-

Or it just means It takes place after Rin blown up all timelines together with her Jewel sword, creating aforementioned "non-existent route". If we were kindly threat Ataraxia as cannon such thing as FSN routes loose it's meaning anyway. And yes, I dare do exactly that (it allows me ship Rider with Shiro afteral)

True Assassin: Hassan (one of the nineteen Old Men of the Mountain)
True Caster: Francois Prelati (contemporary and cohort of Gilles de Rais)

True Saber is the Saber who has appeared since the first book. The one who saved Ayaka from his own would-be summoner and then the "Fake" Assassin. He is confirmed to be Richard the Lionheart, and his Noble Phantasm allows him to treat basically anything as Excalibur (shooting Excalibeams, etc.), due to him having had several swords in life which he all called Excalibur.

True Archer is Heracles from before he gained divinity. Or he lost it or something. Unclear. He was warped and corrupted into a tortured soul who has no problem trying to kill children (like Gil's Master) by his Master forcing him via Command Spells to remember the horrible things he did as Heracles, and by using mud from the Fuyuki Grail (lol Narita). The cloth covering him is Hippolyta's Belt, which he gained during one of his 12 Labors. One of his Noble Phantasms has to do with his 12 Labors, so presumably there are 11 other similar items. Golden Fleece (another one of those 12) is confirmed. Does not have God Hand. He also has some aspects of Avenger due to the Fuyuki Grail mud. That might also be what stripped his divinity.

True Rider is Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons until her death at Heracles' hands. One of her Noble Phantasms is her Belt, which explains why they were stated to both be wearing similar cloth upon their introductions in Volume 2. They're effectively the same item, though they probably work differently. That Noble Phantasm (for her) is called Goddess of War, which makes sense, as she got it from Ares.

True Berserker is Thomas Edison. Apparently he made an appearance in Grand Order as a lion-headed man in what could only be described as a "Flash Gordon mech suit". This one is described as having four legs and a robot spider lion motif. Presumably Japan's equivalent of the DEA is investigating the author as we speak...

True Assassin is one of the 19 Hassan-I-Sabbah, one of the men who in life was The Old Man of the Mountain, the origination of the term "assassin". On the Beast's Lair forums they are calling him the Hassan of the Shadow-Lantern. Don't know if there's a source on that particular name or what, but it describes his abilities. He hides. Really well. As with all of the other Hassans, his Noble Phantasm is called Zabaniya, but it's unknown at this time what it does (though it's not "having 100 faces" or "death arm growing out of the back" because those are different Hassans).

True Caster is Francois Prelati, an alchemist and occultist who was a contemporary and compatriot of Gilles de Rais (Fate Zero Caster). His Master is the garishly dressed young lady Francesca previously seen speaking with the Snowfield police captain and Faldeus in the previous volumes. Where it gets strange is, according to comments from Gilles de Rais in one of the other Nasuverse works (F/GO, I believe), Francesca herself is none other than...Francois Prelati, who has been using his alchemical skills to body hop since his first death close to 600 years ago.

That's right, she summoned himself. Servant is on the right.

There is no True Lancer. Sorta. Sigma, the would-be Master of True Lancer, instead summoned "a bunch of guys" who call themselves "Watcher" (new Class, apparently). They can change form into different people (similar to FSF's Jack the Ripper) but only a select number of people, people who they have killed over the years. All the faces seen so far represent people who upset the natural order or committed crimes against nature, so current speculation is that the Watcher guys represent the will of Gaia. And apparently "watch" is all they can do. One mentioned that he can't pick up a set of chopsticks, much less a weapon. Apparently there's also something about Sigma becoming True Lancer or something. Oh, and he's Maiya's long lost kid.

Haven't been reading Strange Fake, and I'm sure many others haven't either due to sparse releases and difficulty in finding them. That said, anyone care to elaborate on why there are "normal" Servants and "true" Servants?

The HGW in Snowfiled was supposed to be a fake Holy Grail War based on a "faulty" Fuyuki HGW system. As result the fake HGW lost Saber class and allows irregular heroic spirits (like Pale Rider). But a group of American magi and Francesca superimposed a real HGW complete with their own seven servants. Basically, the 'normal' servants are participants for the fake HGW, while the true servants are the participants for the real HGW. Both sides' servants are still genuine servants (some strange choices aside).

Not sure what happened to the fake grail after the real grail war starts. Do the fakes has to kill each other to get their grail or killing the real ones also count?

I'm not aware that the Golden Fleece is even connected to Herc and his labors. Maybe you're referring to the Nemean Lion pelt? That's one of the two confirmed NPs that his new NP, King's Order, gives. The other is the belt of Hippolyta.
The wording on the last part of the NP suggests that it's because of the Grail mud that made him lose his divinity. The description of King's Order says that in exchange for his divinity and immortality, he gets this NP. And because this was forced onto him by the Truth of the Grail(whatever that is, most likely the mud), the mana consumption is doubled.

He has a personal skill called Shadow Lantern. It's kinda like Frankenstein's Galvanism, Lancelot's FSG and an additional Presence Concealment. He can become one with the shadows and can gain magical energy from it. As long as he doesn't materialize, he won't need energy from his Master. He can also conceal his stats even from his Master, which explains his stats not viewable in the stat page of vol2.

Zealot teams with Richard because he and one of Hassans were budies. They befriend Enkidu too

Herc get warped by grail mud because he refused attack Tielke at first and it seems he resist do it even if ordered by CS.

Because Herc lost his divinity he is safe against Gils chain, but he get almost killed by Jack who is strong against human trait servants.

There is several Ayakas.

Zero Rider used a sword, even though he wasn't a Saber. So did both Fate/Apocrypha Riders, one of which also used a spear. FSN Rider used a chain dagger, even though she wasn't an Assassin. "Fake" Rider in FSF arguably is its own weapon. Pretty sure that all but the last were proficient in the bow in their original lives.

Like Assassin or Caster, Rider as a class doesn't have any kind of weapon requirement, unlike Saber, or Lancer, or even Archer for that matter (though the latter's requirement is vague enough that actual archer Archers almost seem to be the exception).

Well, of the known archer servants across all fates, half of them are actual archers so I would not say they are exception, not to mention how many servants who will also have bow primary if summoned as archer.
