need more food
I seriously think that we are lacking food anime here, the only memorable ones that I have seen is cooking master boy and yakitate japan.
I want to see more food anime with "real" life situation, with the food that is created in the anime which could be recreated in real life like the 2 anime that i have mention above, any suggestion? Thank you in advance. |

The newly-released Antique Bakery concerns a cake shop, however there's a strong yaoi theme.
A different type of "food" is the subject of Bartender, where each week's episode focuses on a particular cocktail. During the closing credits they display the recipe for the featured drink while a live bartender prepares the concoction. Sake brewing is discussed in a number of episodes of Moyashimon.

Joking aside, Bartender is the most realistic show listed so far, and while the premise of Moyashimon is faniciful, all the bactirium named are used in food production, especially sake (as previously mentioned). Here are my suggestions: Cooking Master Boy (anime) Addicted to Curry (manga) Last edited by james0246; 2008-07-16 at 18:18. |

I was thinking about Mister Ajikko even if it's a bit old [started in 1987] and long. I think it's one of the first anime which talks about food.
There is also Chocolate Underground , you can take a look at it. |
