I wonder if it keep the studio as I have not heard of WhiteFox since last year and Goblin Slayer already swithed to another one?

There's rumours that this season will be 4 cours.

Can't imagine White Fox in their current state doing that without outside help.

They made S2 and Utawarerumono S3 in the same state.

Though, some people do think that they will stop making anime themselves shifting all job to Studio Bind.

I mean, it's too much of a long term commitment for them, they'd have to basically dedicate themselves only to Re:Zero for like 4 years or so. I can't see them doing that.
And that's assuming the rumour is true. I'm taking it with a grain of salt...

Considering they already ditched Goblin Slayer and ReZero i probably their most sucessful franchise after Steins;Gate thay may dedicate themselves to it for a few years.

Yes! Finally! Can't wait to see Subaru, Emilia, and the gang again !

Judging by the teaser it looks like the royal candidates and their retainers all gather into a city on the water and have to fight the Sin Archbishops ?

If it’s 4 cours it will have to cover Arc 5 and 6 which have 10 volumes. I think 2 cour season covering Arc 5 is more likely.

Something that kinda bothered me about season 2 is that its first cour felt like a reboot to Subaru's story. A lot of horror solely focused on him for several episodes. The second cour felt like an improvement considering they gave more screentime to the other characters especially Emillia who was overshadowed by Rem a lot in season 1 about who was the best heroine. So I hope season 3 goes through a new route without rehashing Subaru's chaotic stories.

I'm just hoping season 3 let's the cast overall shine...and for some of them to just plain exist.

The living witch might pull the string behind these priests. Unlike dead witches, the living witch was merciless in the last season.

We have reason to believe that, regardless of how many cours there are, both arcs 5 and 6 will be in this season. Because the artwork Otsuka made to celebrate the new season includes characters from both arcs 5 and 6. Kadokawa are even selling prints of this art to promote the announcement of the new season. Similar art by Otsuka made to celebrate previous seasons also included characters who appeared in those seasons.

Glad to see we're getting more of Re:Zero, I just hope the plot will move on a faster pace compared to season 2.
