Something not depressing?

I really like the comedy and slice of life genres like aria or hidamari sketch.....but too much slice of life is depressing <_<.

Any recomendation of good animes? (Not anything specific).

Ok!. I think that is all i dont like in a anime. I guess everything else is fine.

Eureka Seven. There are some sad moments perhaps, but the ending actually made me cry tears of joy.

I third Eureka Seven, it balances well the comedy and the seriousness.

Have you tried Nodame Cantabile and Honey and Clover? college age slice of life show, hilarious but can be bittersweet.

oh, Ouran High Host club is funny too.

Itazura na Kiss-romance with the common klutzy female lead the the perfect male;lotsa emotions but none really depressing

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu-male lead(the type w/ glasses-you know what i mean) by the hand of fate runs into the school idol and discovers her secret. Soon the secret brings them closer and it goes on from there

Special A-its a bit childish and cheesy and looms over the 7 elite students of a school and interrogates their romance

Ah! My Goddess-definitely a mood lifter, romance between the average joe and a goddess

Death Note-just awesome anime, no reason not to watch it

Hantsuki-romance, awesome romance, awesome relationship, and awesome character development

Karin-Karin is a vampire, however shes a special kind of vampire;instead of draining blood of innocents she injects her blood into those who are sad and bam!! instant happiness..yea theres some romance in there

Kyou no go no ni-simply the most funny anime i've ever watched;better than lucky stars, soul eater, and anything out there labeled comedy. Second season is coming out this season i think.

The melancholy of haruhi Suzumiya-you've prob seen this if you seen lucky star but it wouldn't hurt incase you havn't. clannad funny w/out the romance

Spice and Wolf-most heartwarming relationship anime this year imo.

hmm am assuming youve only watched fumoffu and not seasons1 and 2 of FMP ?

theres quite a few comedy moments in them still, not slice of life or owt, however if you did like fumoffu you should these

hmm well I guess Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is perfect for you if you haven't seen it yet, that is (edit: hadn't noticed you had already seen it, sorry)

I also like DNAngel... well let's see...
it's not gore and it's not yuri/yaoi or hentai... it hasn't got sports really, doesn't have dark humor and it doesn't have a sad ending... so yeah, that should do it xD

Shugo Chara is also pretty cool although I can't tell whether the ending is sad or not since it's still halfway... the anime, that is... but it's that kind that you can almost predict it's gonna be alright in the end.

you should also see Karin (aka Chibi Vampire)... well, it does have a little blood in it but it's not gore I swear.. it's just that she's a vampire who produces blood so she has major nosebleeds once in a while xD

I also recommed Mermaid Melody if you like shoujo.

oh, wait almost forgot... well, a really great anime *one of my favs* is Ef - A Tale of Memories. The story is kinda sad but everyone gets a happy ending. And it's really really great.. and that artwork and animation is really something. *my siggy is from that anime*

edit: Ichigo 100% is also pretty funny :P although I prefer the manga but yeah ^^
