She is the self-styled Magical Dark Lady,
Sophia Ring SP Saturn the 7th,
Satone Shichimiya, the one who Yuuta admired in the past...

And like this, Yuuta's second year of high school begins like this. Definitely not normal in the slightest.

hopefully she'll revert to her former appearance later, even if it's only occasional.

C'mon people why so serious? Making her look bland is obviously intentional. I kind of treated that a as part of a gag as she's attempting to seek a fresh start to her supposedly "ordinary" life as of 2nd year thus a more low profile appearence. And no, this won't last long as her dark past will always work wonders at catching up with her. Can't wait till the moment she realized that it's futile and revert to her usual appearence.

Nah, I don't treat it as a serious problem. It's just quite a shock

since frankly, I like Shinka firstly because of her looks but then moved to her motherly trait. Of course this won't stop me at liking her and watching this show.

Come to think of it, I wonder how she'll look like in her usual appearance but with that black hair. I guess it's time to play some photoshop.

Shinka looks really disproportioned in her new form. Her upper body looks smaller, and her legs look much longer. I can get used to the black hair, but the long skirt definitely doesn't fit, IMO.

I wouldn't really use that as a basis of comparison.

I thought it was a totally new character. Some people speculated the new Nibutani is a fusion between her original self and the the other main girl in the light novel.

Aren't you guys overreacting a bit? It's most likely her new look will only be temporary as it's pretty much set up as a punchline in which she'll revert back to her old look.
