Hate to go off tangent but apparently, installation is a complete pain.
Got my key off Gamestop, only to not be able to download the client because of the school's internet ports sucking hard. Went around it, only to find out patches didn't update, so went through a few hours of figuring it out myself. Only to find out that it crashes upon the login screen where I type my email. Off to browse the technical support forums at battle.net. Yup, after 9 hours of tinkering, got it to work. Off to mess with every unit I go. Last edited by Who; 2010-05-01 at 04:07. |

Like everyone says, in South Korea, Starcraft is a serious business
Yeah, I really love to see my mother cry if I win a tournament in a game like Flash's mother did when he won OSL(which I think my mom would just say "whatever")

Wow, so I just installed Starcraft on my new computer for the first time I've installed it on anything in about 10 years and.....110 MB for both it and Brood War. About a 3rd of the size of your average 24 minute TV episode and still smaller than the size of a low res episode. How the times have changed.

Yea, when they said Sc1 would run on nearly anything, they really meant it. Though mine is about 500 mb larger, because I don't want to use the cd. Sc2 is a modest sized 4 gb
On another note, I find reapers extremely frustrating to deal with as Protoss in 2v2. In 1v1 vs Terran, I can simply go straight to stalkers, but in 2v2 especially if there's a non terran, I'll need a zealot or 2 to defend against early lings or zealots. But in any case if a Terran is involved, 2 gating just seems out of the question.

Eh? The beta itself actually only about 2 gigs, it's just that it keeps a backlog of previous builds in a sub folder called "Versions" and the folder is currently about 2 gigs in size, which then brings the 4 gig total your talking about. I wouldn't delete the "Versions" subfolder though, probably a beta-related reason why it's there.

You can read it through there. I just got it on the fly a while back. It's interesting to note that they said that Blizzard themselves said it via press conference. I'd normally take it with a grain of salt but this gives me slightly more hope than usual. It's also on Blizzard's homepage. |

I'm wondering the scheme of things, actually.
Duran's existence has me worried about the outcome of the story line. I would not want to see ...Also, I'm still incredibly pissed at him because of the 'Blood of patriots' mission. So I am hoping that a protoss ship crushes him. That would be irony at it's best. |
