I'm not sure what it says, but it says that Celica forced Glenn to come with her on this trip. The other girls saw her having Glenn all to herself and challenged her for the right of dating Glenn. It also says that the region has to do with Celica's lost past and that Glenn will stand against the Snoria Region's destiny which is its destruction."

Looks like best girl won the bowl. Not surprising considering the cover, but still nice to have confirmation. Of course I'm rooting for a harem end if possible, but if I had to choose OTP, it would be Celica.

No the amount of colour illustrations is actually normal amount.

There is the cover, a more clear view of the cover, two big colour illustrations that cover 2 pages, two smaller illustrations that cover one page and an illustrations behind the chapter names of the volume.

I assume the blonde girl with the sword is the MC? If that's the case, it looks like the author is going for the opposite of this series, focusing on a female student instead of a male teacher.

I think both her and black haired guy will be Mc (hopefully female will be more than just heroine), question is who will be Arthur and who Merlin as male MC also seem to have pretty sword.
