Deep Down update details weapons and armor
So far only talked about Swords and Spears and Shield. Isn't this game coming out with Japan's PS4 launch? That's only two weeks from now.

My PS4 is sadly starting to get dust on it....I beat KZ, ACIV, BF4 (multiplayer got tiring for me after a while), and Knack is just not keeping me all that interested. I'm eagerly anticipating Watchdogs & this game. |

PS4 Exclusive Deep Down’s New Gameplay Videos and Screenshots Show Amazing Action Combat And More
For some reason I can't get the audio to work for me but people on Neogaf could see it no problem so maybe it's a region thing? http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=769670 And can tell you one thing- the monster designs are pretty cool.

I found another one: These graphics are amazing. I wonder how much customization we'll have for characters? |

Just looking at the aesthetic and design choice, it feels like they are going for the Dark Soul money especially if you look at the armor design. Japanese design tends to lent itself to more stylistic flair which sometimes alienate part of the market.
Anyway, i'm a lot more interested in it now after seeing more of the game. Feels like a Monster Hunter game mixed with Dark Soul's style aesthetic on a next gen graphic.

Given the fact that it's a recent series that resonated very well with the west, I wouldn't be surprised to see Capcom taking some inspiration from it in order to appeal to a wider audience abroad.

Dragon's Dogma as well, which was why most people were hoping this was the sequel lol.
But while the other DD was fast paced action, this is definitely much slower hence more reminiscence of the Soul series. Also, the enemy designs seem to be the same type.

To be honest, the Project Beast did shift a lot of my anticipation from this toward it, and now I can't really feel excited for this game anymore.
Will still check it out when it come out, seeing it's F2P.
