Spoiler for Episode 10:
Well, the trick/problem with this archetype is that you often have to get hooked up front in order to get to the vulnerable side down the road. Nanaka definitely hooked me from the start, as did Miyako, but for whatever reason Asa never clicked with me. The concept behind it, though, always tends to be enjoyable to me. Yeah, I knew you were a hopeless romantic like me in that regard, which is why I thought it was odd to see you analyze it so coldly.
My favourite of this archetype is most likely Kawamura Mana, from Hourglass of Summer. Though she's a bit different because at the start she appears cold, then gets playful, then reveals her true problems. Oh, and it's definitely one of the type of characters I like the most as well, if not -the-.

I'd agree with AvatarST - seeing you analyze it so "coldly" doesn't seem like the relentless i know

Actually, the "second game" isn't even game-fied yet, so that request will have to wait That aside, i don't think we are ever going to see the second tale to anime adoption, given with how little material they are going to be left with, considering the anime is already borrowing material from the unreleased game - the Chihiro story.

Structurally, her purpose is the same as Himura's - that is, to tie the various love stories together. According to minori, ef comprises of four principal chapters out of a total of six (Prologue, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Epilogue?), so some kind of epilogue revolving around Yuuko and Yuu will certainly be presented. However, I'm not expecting any lengthy developments, even if a few surprising revelations may be in store. |
