Wow. This is great news! I always like that Paul Verhoeven movie even though it’s a loose adaptation. I even follow the CG animated series long ago in Animax. Still, I really hope that this newest project can be a faithful adaptation to Heinlein’s novel but I can see that it’s not the case. I’m still looking forward to this though. Seeing those archies and more badass bugs wreaking havoc and dismembering/impaling human soldiers really made my day!
Btw, will this be in Japanese or English?

In this one though, they'll do a concert for the soldiers and the bugs can get all-you-can-eat out of the audience.

Looks good. It seems like they're keeping the cheesy humor, which is great.
That said, I have often hoped that John Steakly's Armor would find a way out from the shadow of Starship Troopers and be adapted to the screen, rather than yet another adaption of ST. Also, isn't this thread in the wrong sub-forum?

Hmmmm, this could be interesting.
Mind you, I've not been a huge fan of the action sequences in the Two Appleseed movies, or the Package from Halo Legends. The action sequences in those in allot of places felt to flamboyant and wire fuey. I DO like over the top fight scenes, but I personally prefer for them to lean to the more grounded and gritty.
