In the books, Aldra's husband is the reader. They'll probably never show him in the show.

She did say this, as she stood in front of the church, "Forgive me, God. I'm doing this to protect my husband." Afterwards, the demon summoning ritual was then performed. That was also mentioned that she was doing this for her husband in her little profile for the Rebellion arc.

Oh! And Ymir also brought up Aldra's lost memories (that Aldra did bring up and her sister during the talk with Sigui) and the possibility that they can come back if she embraces the Demon Arts again as another means to manipulate.

Marie (or Maria) is actually Reina herself. She took that name after winning the Queen's Blade, certainly to honor the memory of his mother.

I enjoyed this one since I've already done mourning the "old" Aldra. She's not that bad being a loving wife after all... And I really appreciate the fact that she saw her "old version" reflection in that glass panel, it really helps for the transition. The only thing unbearable is her new voice actress, it would have been better to hear the old one speaking with a different tone.

Also the fanservice in this episode was just fine. Good bye hideous men, welcome back dear boobies !

Need this episode being subbed soon, and can't wait next week to see more of three Vance's sisters

Edit: I had almost forgotten, I was right concerning Aldra's ears : absolutely no explanation ...

Concerning the fanservice, I have to say the show is doing it very poorly (considering the older seasons). The fanservice used to be during fights, with clothes ripping off and armor breaking apart while the battle was still going on. Now it's just bath scene all the time, and that's it. It's been very disappointing in this aspect.

Yes.

@gustyvedova: It's hard to introduce fanservice in battles when there are no fights... If you remember episode 1 and 2, there were clothes torn apart, but the more scenario goes on, fewer are the battles.

I think that's the reason why there's so much bath scenes, in addition with the average/low animation skill that people doing the show have. But better poor fanservice than no fanservice at all ...

Surprisingly alot of QBR girls are popular and speaking of husbands in the anime Cattleya's husband Owen was shown.

As for Aldra's husband I think only people that bought her figure along with the book has the bragging rights to be her husband. That includes me.

Every time Aldra (Ayana Taketatsu) speaks, she reminds me of Azunyan. Every single TIME! I don’t know why. When other characters (voice actresses) speak, they never reminded me of their previous roles in other animes. Mirim never reminded me of Yui, so does Branwen (Miria from Claymore), Claudette (Motoko Kusanagi from GiTS) etc.

Haha! I think Hobby Japan staffs must have been playing too many Asian MMOs. Just look at Luna Luna, Aldra and Izumi character design. It’s funny to see Aldra wearing normal everyday clothing, fully-covered and then she wears a naked apron as her battle dress. In Asian MMOs, being naked means more armor, just like Tera Online

Anyway, this was an interesting episode all around. Looking forward to seeing Izumi and Reina in next episode.

Revoltech Branwen…even though I like her, I’m not into revoltech figure. Well I guess I just have to wait for the reviews.

Anyway leecherboy, did they tell when/date Vanquished Queens 2 gonna be released? Or are they just announcing there will be VQ2 artbook coming out soon?

EDIT: lol, I just remembered they released VQ artbook together with revoltech Annelotte. 30th Nov, about 6 months from now.

Technically, they aren't even announcing the artbook... but teasing like that along with Branwen's figure, I guess it won't take long before they properly do it.

Edit: Ah, scratch that, you're right. VQ2 will come with Branwen's figure in November, indeed.

pirate lady pull a jack sparrow & everyone else ride the robo elf to safety.
oh lunaluna ok just using her power to help mirim's land.
annelotte & crew back & now bigger harem now onwards.
