Like I said earlier, you don't have to worry about it. I'm almost certain he tried to do something to Tomoyo, and promptly got destroyed for it. I mean, he doesn't even have a name; I doubt his chances of survival is high. There is a reason he just disappears.

Folks, rest assured they did a LOT more than just kissing in the game...

So the glasses guy? Old news. Don't worry about him. He tried to be in the way but failed miserably. The only real obstacle was Sunohara, and that is really not saying very much

Translation is still crawling, at least on the baka tsuki page, but I just watched the epi, and it felt really close to the original game. The animation was a bit better? I'm not the best judge of this, but it definitely brought back the feelings from the earlier arcs.

I like this couple far more than Tomoya/Nagisa... no offence to those who think otherwise.

It was bit weird to see them together right from the begining, I would prefer some more intruduction but then it would requiere 2 OVA episodes atleast

But still liked it, Tomoya/Tomoyo work really nice together

Although Tomoyo/Sunohara would be so much more hilariouse

IMO, she's too good for Tomoya, much less Sunohara. Tomoya's just very lucky here.

I don't really read fanfiction (does The Inheritance Trilogy Quartet count?), so I wouldn't know if that's high or low, but I hope you're not comparing the quantity to Naruto or Bleach fanfictions because although Clannad is popular, it's no where near as popular as those two.

Plus fanfiction is only ever written if viewers feel unsatisfied so i guess a low amount of fanfiction will show just how perfect Clannad really is.

Tomoyo was a great character and I liked her as much as Nagisa, but I don't think I would ever replace her. Someone I came across earlier ago said that Tomoyo should take Nagisa's place, but if you think about it... It wouldn't really have the same affect, and what about cute little Ushio?
