The knights waited in anticipation, staring at the empty HD television while fiddling with their fingers and hair. Their chief, a senior-ranked Belkan Knight, also stared at the screen in utmost attention, occasionally correcting his thick-framed eyeglasses.

“Now, to begin our briefing.”

The screen was turned on. In an instant all eyes were glued on the HD television. It took seconds before a video footage of two young girls breaking through Belkan knights’ resistance. Everyone stared at the intriguing-looking girls in feverish interest; some even whispered to one another regarding their rising level of fascination towards the girl.

“As you can see from the video footages,” the senior spoke. “Those girls, named Aura and Freya, frequently elude our capture and treat we Knights as if they want to play with us. They are notoriously infamous for disrupting each and every operation we conducted.” He clenched his fist and murmured “those girls… what do they expect of us? Saying words like oniichan and ojiichan in times of crisis…”

He coughed. “Knights, I would like each and every one of you to study these girls’ techniques. This way, we might learn something or two from it.”

Again, the knights turned their attention to the footages. The girls were seen giggling as they outwitted a group of knights and evaded projectiles fired from Mid-Childan counterparts. The male knights would ogle at the girls and their “special service” and their female colleagues would give them a friendly reminder with their murderous gaze and caused them to behave.

“Does anyone of us know who or what they are?” one knight (who was surprisingly immune to such “fan service”) asked.

The senior shook his head. “Nobody knows exactly for sure who they really are or where they actually come from, apart from the Narulia magic system they use that may indicate their Narulian origin,” he answered.

“Narulia? But I thought the magic system is already extinct for 450 years.” It was Frieda, and she was accompanied by Takeru as she attended the meeting. “As far as I am concerned, nobody knows the exact mechanism of the system these days.”

“That is correct, Paladin Frieda,” the senior spoke. “Now, I would like to show something.”

Another video footage took place. This time, the knights were surprised when they saw a robotic tiger materializing from out of nowhere and protected Aura and Freya from particle cannons. The beast, then, pounced at the knights, savagely attacking them. “The beast you’re seeing now is Poseidon, a Lost Logia. Like the girls, we know nothing of its existence or who actually operates it.”

The other knights began discussing the matter seriously. Occasionally some of them would resume watching the video and silently rooting for the twin girls before their female colleagues healthily reminded them with a well-aimed karate chop on the head.

“As far as this Order is concerned, Aura, Freya and Poseidon are classified as an S-rank enemy, and the possibility of them to inflict major damage to this organization will be high,” the senior uttered. “At such, we cannot allow their activity to continue and we will do anything to make sure they know who they’re really dealing with.”

The screen turned off. The room was lit up, and the senior knight turned around to face his subordinates. “Do you understand?” he spoke. “These cute girls… ahem, subjects, are highly dangerous and must not be taken lightly. It is our role as the honoured Belkan Knights to prevent them from inflicting more troubles.” Then he spoke in low, barely audible voice. “Though they are girls… twins, on top of that…”

“That’s about it,” the senior ended the briefing. “Dismissed.”

The knights saluted their senior officer and left the briefing room. Frieda and Takeru also followed their lead before they were summoned back into the room. “Yes, senior?” the female gunslinger asked.

The senior knight coughed and approached Frieda; instinctively Takeru reacted by standing between them, feverishly protecting his maternal guardian. “Step aside, Takeru. I must talk to Paladin Frieda; it is important.” Takeru did not bulge and summoned Silberkugel as his answer. “So, you gunslinger knight is asking for trouble,” he murmured and withdrew his rapier.

Frieda chuckled and gave Takeru an affectionate pat on the head. “Takeru, let me talk with him,” she said with a smile. “It would be very long.”

“…yes, Miss Frieda.”

Obediently Takeru stepped back as to allow Frieda approach the senior. “Forgive Takeru’s persistence, senior,” she apologized. “He still has a lot to learn about the protocol.”

“I can see that.” The senior corrected his eyeglasses and coughed a couple of times. “Paladin Frieda, I know this would sound outrageously straightforward, but… could you do a favour and investigate them?”

Frieda giggled. “Oh, dear. You ask me to do is to know more about them and the Lost Logia isn’t it?” Takeru was looking up at her, intrigued by what she was talking of. “Sure. Besides I would like to meet Aura and Freya up close.”

“You must be very careful, Paladin Frieda,” the senior reminded. “The girls are to be treated as an enemy with high-levelled risk ranking. One fatal mistake and your days will not be numbered anymore. Do not underestimate them.”

“What are you talking about, senior?” So saying she activated Beowulf and holstered the Gunblade over her shoulder. “If there’s anything I’d like to do, it’s pampering young children. Let’s go, Takeru.”

“Y-yes, Miss Frieda.”

The Belkan gunslingers excused themselves and left the senior knight. The lone person watched at them who slowly began to disappear and looked down at documents of their profile he held. He nodded.

“Silent Bullet… what do you have to show us?”

A mission for the Belkan Gunslingers huh? Although I'm wondering what really goes on inside that senior knight... he a pedo or something? And with looks like that, I don't blame the male knights for their actions

She whispered those words right into my ear, with a gentleness I’ve never heard from her before. The lilt in her voice… it nearly brought me to my knees.

“But…”

I dreaded that word… whatever she wanted, it always meant trouble.

“I want you to do something for me…”

Here we go…

“I demand a rematch.”

At those words we both pushed each other away, grabbing our respective weapons, and preparing our battle stances. I could feel a smile coming on, as she did, anticipating our next moves.

“CUT!!!!!”

And with that unwelcome cry we were interrupted by the arrival of the 79th’s very own Dynamic Duo: Smith and Wesson.

“Dudes, what are you doing?”

“Aren’t you two supposed to be making out or something after that scene?!”

“Glock you wuss!”

Both Kay and I hung our heads in shame at these two… Kay could only utter something like “Teme”. At the very least, I’ve known them to act in such a manner.

Time: 2030 MST

Major Sevasti Secastan walked along the halls of Parliament, seeking the private chambers of his – and the 82nd’s – immediate superior: Councilwoman Lise Johns.

It’ll be good to see Lise again, Sevasti mused. Even though there’s not much for us to catch up on… the 82nd had only been halfway into the tour when we received the recall order.

Approaching a now familiar intersection, Sevasti turned left, heading along the old corridors of wood and tile. Anyone with sense knew that the hall’s appearance was merely an illusion: the modern materials used to craft Parliament had only been given the appearance of a time long past.

Sevasti proceeded halfway down the hall, then turned right, facing a set of old-style doors that bore Lise John’s nameplate. The Phantasm grasped the handles, and pushed inwards, moving into the outer office.

At the desk to the left of the doors sat Johns’ secretary, Natsuki. She looked up from her work and smiled at the Major, waving him through.

“She’s been expecting you. Go on, don’t keep her waiting.”

Sevasti then proceeded on and into the inner office. Johns was sitting in the chair behind her desk. Another similar chair had been pulled up in front of it from a corner of the room.

“It’s good to see you again, Sevasti. Please sit down.”

The Phantasm made himself comfortable, and then Lise continued.

“So, how have things been out in the Black?”

The Black. The term all RAFers used for the wide galaxy that they claimed as their home. Johns had been part of the RAF once – she spent the better portion of a decade out there, serving first as part of the 33rd Squadron, and then as the XO of the famous “Fighting 17th” Squadron. From there, she went on to become part of Parliament, where she had spent eight years of her life, and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Sevasti shrugged. “About as normal as could be expected, Councilwo-”

Lise stopped him with an upraised hand. “Sevasti, we’re friends. How many times must I insist that you call me Lise and not Councilwoman Johns?”

“Do you insist, milady?” Sevasti asked, a smirk briefly playing over his features.

Lise returned the smirk. “I do.”

“Very well, then. It appears I have no choice. As I was saying earlier, everything is about as normal as could be expected, Lise.”

“I see? And how is the rest of your unit?”

“Everyone’s about the same as always – Boomer playing peacemaker and big brother, Mel keeping everyone’s spirits up, Arcas being the voice of conscience. Honestly, Lise, things haven’t changed much for us since the last time we talked.”

“That was right before you left for your current tour of duty, right? It was – correct me if I’m wrong – about five months ago, right?”

“That’s correct. If I may, may I ask why the 82nd’s been brought back?”

“As opposed to, say, the 17th, who are due back here in two weeks?”

“Yes.”

“Well, Sevasti, I won’t lie to you. The reasons that the 82nd has been recalled out of all the squadrons are very convoluted, and have political complexities that you and I can spend all night discussing and STILL wouldn’t be half done, but the simple, short answer is this: the 82nd has the necessary skills, firepower, and contacts within the Tripartite to accomplish the tasks ahead.”

“And that’s all I need to know about that?”

“For now. If more comes up, then I’ll call the whole 82nd in here to talk about it.”

“Lise, you know Arcas isn’t going to be happy about that if it happens – him and his whole ‘why didn’t you tell us before?’ routine.”

“If that happens, then I’LL deal with Arcas. Besides, that boy needs to learn that there’re times when you have to trust the judgment of those above you. Speaking of which, how’s he doing on that with regards to you?”

Sevasti sighed. “Kid’s still fighting me a great deal of the time – saying the I’m only thinking of completing the mission, and not about what our actions could mean for the other people involved.”

“And that bothers you?”

“A lot. The kid needs to understand that you can’t always end up in a win-win situation for everyone. Sooner or later, someone has to lose.”

“But you know that he is right, and that’s what really irks you about him; that there usually is a better way,” Lise responded.

“A better way is not necessarily a more practical one – the best ways are only the best because they are hard.”

Lise nodded and sighed. “True. So I gather that Boomer’s peacemaking skills have been getting use?”

“Almost as much as his sniping skills – I think one thing the entire squad can agree on is that without him, we might fall apart.”

“It seems to me, Sevasti, that the entire 82nd is that way. The four of you work together very well, and that is because of the unique combination of personalities that constitutes your unit. Take one away, and the 82nd is lesser for it.”

“I’m sorry to break your train of thought, Lise, but we need to get back to the topic at hand?”

“Which is?”

“Why US?”

“Yes, of course. Well, I did give you the short answer, but I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to go into a little detail. First, the 82nd was recalled based upon the recommendation of Parliament’s RAF Board. That recommendation, however, was influenced by the input of Lady Carim of the Saint Church, who has friends in all three portions of the Tripartite. The TSAB and GDI are in trouble, so it’s up to Secretariat to take up the cases they’re missing. Now, when Carim came to us, she had a list of names compiled from the Church’s Trinity leaders. And while your name was not on that list, the name of your XO was.”

“Hm. So he was right.”

Lise looked puzzled. “Who was?”

“Arcas. He thought that this might be the reason we were called back.”

“Yes, but there’s more to it than that. You know of the Rabbi Policy?”

The Rabbi Policy. Instituted not long after the creation of the RAF, the Policy appointed a Parliament Councilmember as the superior and Secretariat contact for each RAF Squadron. It was meant as a way for squadrons to be protected against the political changes in Secretariat, as well as a general source of information for both sides.

“Yes, what of it?”

“Well, all the Rabbis of the squadrons out in the Black were hollering for a shot at this. And as you know –”

“My squadron has fewer people and less experience than most of the others out there.”

“That’s correct. But what you do have is: two legendary Devices, a renowned tactician, a highly competent sniper, and an XO who is friends with a great many people in both the Bureau and the GDI.”

Sevasti frowned. “So you’re telling me that we only got this because of Arcas?”

“No, but he is a rather large part of it.”

“Can’t be helped, I suppose.”

“I suppose.”

A long pause ensued; Sevasti finally broke the silence.

“Anything else you might have for me?”

“Well, the 82nd isn’t set to be on active duty for another two or three days, so I’d suggest getting caught up on anything before things start moving.”

“Understood, we’ll get on that right away.” With that, Sevasti left the chair and headed for the door. Just about as he was to turn the handle, Lise called from behind him.

“Sevasti.” The Phantasm looked at her over his shoulder.

“Yes?”

“About Arcas – does he have any idea about what he is? I mean, has he shown any interest in – you know?”

“He has no idea, Lise. Absolutely none.”

“You’re sure.”

“Yes.”

And with that, the Phantasm slipped out the door and headed to his motorcycle.

A Dunamist… who’d have ever thought that they survived the war?

With that, the Major mounted his bike and sped off into the Mid-Childian night.

The knights waited in anticipation, staring at the empty HD television while fiddling with their fingers and hair. Their chief, a senior-ranked Belkan Knight, also stared at the screen in utmost attention, occasionally correcting his thick-framed eyeglasses.

“Now, to begin our briefing.”

The screen was turned on. In an instant all eyes were glued on the HD television. It took seconds before a video footage of two young girls breaking through Belkan knights’ resistance. Everyone stared at the intriguing-looking girls in feverish interest; some even whispered to one another regarding their rising level of fascination towards the girl.

“As you can see from the video footages,” the senior spoke. “Those girls, named Aura and Freya, frequently elude our capture and treat we Knights as if they want to play with us. They are notoriously infamous for disrupting each and every operation we conducted.” He clenched his fist and murmured “those girls… what do they expect of us? Saying words like oniichan and ojiichan in times of crisis…”

He coughed. “Knights, I would like each and every one of you to study these girls’ techniques. This way, we might learn something or two from it.”

Again, the knights turned their attention to the footages. The girls were seen giggling as they outwitted a group of knights and evaded projectiles fired from Mid-Childan counterparts. The male knights would ogle at the girls and their “special service” and their female colleagues would give them a friendly reminder with their murderous gaze and caused them to behave.

“Does anyone of us know who or what they are?” one knight (who was surprisingly immune to such “fan service”) asked.

The senior shook his head. “Nobody knows exactly for sure who they really are or where they actually come from, apart from the Narulia magic system they use that may indicate their Narulian origin,” he answered.

“Narulia? But I thought the magic system is already extinct for 450 years.” It was Frieda, and she was accompanied by Takeru as she attended the meeting. “As far as I am concerned, nobody knows the exact mechanism of the system these days.”

“That is correct, Paladin Frieda,” the senior spoke. “Now, I would like to show something.”

Another video footage took place. This time, the knights were surprised when they saw a robotic tiger materializing from out of nowhere and protected Aura and Freya from particle cannons. The beast, then, pounced at the knights, savagely attacking them. “The beast you’re seeing now is Poseidon, a Lost Logia. Like the girls, we know nothing of its existence or who actually operates it.”

The other knights began discussing the matter seriously. Occasionally some of them would resume watching the video and silently rooting for the twin girls before their female colleagues healthily reminded them with a well-aimed karate chop on the head.

“As far as this Order is concerned, Aura, Freya and Poseidon are classified as an S-rank enemy, and the possibility of them to inflict major damage to this organization will be high,” the senior uttered. “At such, we cannot allow their activity to continue and we will do anything to make sure they know who they’re really dealing with.”

The screen turned off. The room was lit up, and the senior knight turned around to face his subordinates. “Do you understand?” he spoke. “These cute girls… ahem, subjects, are highly dangerous and must not be taken lightly. It is our role as the honoured Belkan Knights to prevent them from inflicting more troubles.” Then he spoke in low, barely audible voice. “Though they are girls… twins, on top of that…”

“That’s about it,” the senior ended the briefing. “Dismissed.”

The knights saluted their senior officer and left the briefing room. Frieda and Takeru also followed their lead before they were summoned back into the room. “Yes, senior?” the female gunslinger asked.

The senior knight coughed and approached Frieda; instinctively Takeru reacted by standing between them, feverishly protecting his maternal guardian. “Step aside, Takeru. I must talk to Paladin Frieda; it is important.” Takeru did not bulge and summoned Silberkugel as his answer. “So, you gunslinger knight is asking for trouble,” he murmured and withdrew his rapier.

Frieda chuckled and gave Takeru an affectionate pat on the head. “Takeru, let me talk with him,” she said with a smile. “It would be very long.”

“…yes, Miss Frieda.”

Obediently Takeru stepped back as to allow Frieda approach the senior. “Forgive Takeru’s persistence, senior,” she apologized. “He still has a lot to learn about the protocol.”

“I can see that.” The senior corrected his eyeglasses and coughed a couple of times. “Paladin Frieda, I know this would sound outrageously straightforward, but… could you do a favour and investigate them?”

Frieda giggled. “Oh, dear. You ask me to do is to know more about them and the Lost Logia isn’t it?” Takeru was looking up at her, intrigued by what she was talking of. “Sure. Besides I would like to meet Aura and Freya up close.”

“You must be very careful, Paladin Frieda,” the senior reminded. “The girls are to be treated as an enemy with high-levelled risk ranking. One fatal mistake and your days will not be numbered anymore. Do not underestimate them.”

“What are you talking about, senior?” So saying she activated Beowulf and holstered the Gunblade over her shoulder. “If there’s anything I’d like to do, it’s pampering young children. Let’s go, Takeru.”

“Y-yes, Miss Frieda.”

The Belkan gunslingers excused themselves and left the senior knight. The lone person watched at them who slowly began to disappear and looked down at documents of their profile he held. He nodded.

“Silent Bullet… what do you have to show us?”

He turns around, "OHHHH~ It fits you perfectly!" He takes a camera and starts taking pictures.

Meanwhile, the Numbers, Zest and Agito were heading back to Scaglietti's lab.
"How strange for the Doctor asking all of us to pick up useless things." Nueve said carrying a bag.
"If the Doctor asked for them, then they must serve for some purpose..." Uno commented.
"Still, asking all of us, except Oujou-sama..." Sein intervened.
"We can't allow Oujou-sama to do such menial tasks." Uno added.

Then, at the gate.
"...That's odd, why isn't my code opening the door?" Said Quatro.
"Lemme try mine...Eh? Doesn't work either..." Sein confirmed.

"You're probably inputting it wrong..." Trei pushed them aside and tried her's. "...doesn't work."
"Is something wrong?" Zest approached them.
"It seems the door isn't accepting out passcodes." Quatro shrugged her arms.
"Our apologies, Knight Zest..." Uno apologized for everyone.

"Sein, can you try to deep dive through the gate?" Dieci asked her.
"Oh, let's see..." She put a hand on the gate, "...No, there's a barrier covering it, I can't pass through." She shaking her head.
"How about asking Lu-lu to open the gate from the other side?" Agito turned to Quattro
She nodded and gave it a try, "...Doesn't work, the barrier is interfering with communications."

"Is it a malfuction?" Zest asked.
"Highly unlikely." Uno stated.
Agito approached them aswell "So...Lu-lu is all alone with that pervert?"

"..." Complete silence.
"LU-LU!!!" Agito screamed bringing her hands to her head.
"OUJOU-SAMA!!" Everyone started desperately banging at the gates.
"Oujou-sama, please try to resist! Don't beleive anything the Doctor says!!!" Quattro shouted as they all hit the door.

While on the other side...
"Now...Could you imitate this pose?" He asks her, showing her a picture.



Lutecia blinks, "...that one seems a bit...daring."
"This one is the last, I promise..." He smirked.
"I think I played along for enough time...Agito and the others should have returned by now..." She looked around.
"Maybe something delayed them...now, just do this last one and then we can go drink some tea and eat candy."
"..." She turned to him.

"It isn't very hard, I'll take some pictures for **- *cough* I mean, souvenir and we'll be done..."
"...What did you say?"
"Souvenir, anything wrong with that?" He stepped back.
"I'm sure you said something else before..." Lutecia looked at him suspiciously.
"Err...you see, I'll keep these pictures of you for...mmm" He started diverting his eyes off her.
"Agito was right...the Doctor is a pervert..."
"Pervert is such a strong word...I'm just, different, yeah, that's it."

"I'll be leaving now..."
"No! Wait!" He quickly grabbed Lutecia by the wrist. "Just that one last picture!" He said holding the camera.
Lutecia stopped and slowly turned her head to look at him, "How dare you touch me?"
"Gah!" Jail flinched as he saw the expression on her face. "C-calm down, sweet Lutecia..."

"I didn't do anything wrong, we were just takin- wah!" One of the iron nails pierces through the camera, and quickly returns to Lutecia's hand.
"So those pictures were for your own amusement..." She says as the iron nail returns, and she starts walking towards him.
"M-My camera! The pictures!" He looked down at the floor, at what was left of the camera.
"You were using me for your own entertainment...then I guess now it's my turn." Lutecia showed Scaglietti the iron nails.
"M-maybe it was a bad idea to give those to her..." and started running.

Back at the Agito, Zest and the Numbers.
"It's no use, it won't open..." Dieci said as she stopped trying.
"Lu-lu..." Agito scratched the door.

Then, the door opened.
"Ah, it's opening..." Quattro said as the gates slid apart.
On the other side, Lutecia could be seen, still wearing those clothes.
"Lu-lu!!" Relieved, Agito flew at her.
"Oujou-sama...what's with that outfit?" Sein asked her.
"It's a long story..."
Zest looked around, "Where's Scaglietti?"
She turned and pointed, "In the back..."

When they got there, the saw him in an uncomfortable position, bound be the chains, while the nails were deeply buried into the floor.
"Get me out of this!" He shouted.
"Pft..." a giggles escaped Sein and Quattro's lips "Wahahahahahahaha!"
"Doctor...what did you do this time?" Uno came to him and calmly asked.
"Oh, you see I really wanted to- Wait! what do you mean by 'this time'???" He struggled to break free.
"Serves you right old man!" Agito scolded him as she flew around, teasing him.

Then Lutecia came closer, "Make sure this doesn't happen again, or...-hmm?" She noticed Scaglietti's gaze.
"Oh, they're white..." He smiled widely as he had a nosebleed.
*veinpop* *stomp*

The last thing Scaglietti saw, has the bottom of Lutecia's boot.

Time: 2030 MST

Major Sevasti Secastan walked along the halls of Parliament, seeking the private chambers of his – and the 82nd’s – immediate superior: Councilwoman Lise Johns.

It’ll be good to see Lise again, Sevasti mused. Even though there’s not much for us to catch up on… the 82nd had only been halfway into the tour when we received the recall order.

Approaching a now familiar intersection, Sevasti turned left, heading along the old corridors of wood and tile. Anyone with sense knew that the hall’s appearance was merely an illusion: the modern materials used to craft Parliament had only been given the appearance of a time long past.

Sevasti proceeded halfway down the hall, then turned right, facing a set of old-style doors that bore Lise John’s nameplate. The Phantasm grasped the handles, and pushed inwards, moving into the outer office.

At the desk to the left of the doors sat Johns’ secretary, Natsuki. She looked up from her work and smiled at the Major, waving him through.

“She’s been expecting you. Go on, don’t keep her waiting.”

Sevasti then proceeded on and into the inner office. Johns was sitting in the chair behind her desk. Another similar chair had been pulled up in front of it from a corner of the room.

“It’s good to see you again, Sevasti. Please sit down.”

The Phantasm made himself comfortable, and then Lise continued.

“So, how have things been out in the Black?”

The Black. The term all RAFers used for the wide galaxy that they claimed as their home. Johns had been part of the RAF once – she spent the better portion of a decade out there, serving first as part of the 33rd Squadron, and then as the XO of the famous “Fighting 17th” Squadron. From there, she went on to become part of Parliament, where she had spent eight years of her life, and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Sevasti shrugged. “About as normal as could be expected, Councilwo-”

Lise stopped him with an upraised hand. “Sevasti, we’re friends. How many times must I insist that you call me Lise and not Councilwoman Johns?”

“Do you insist, milady?” Sevasti asked, a smirk briefly playing over his features.

Lise returned the smirk. “I do.”

“Very well, then. It appears I have no choice. As I was saying earlier, everything is about as normal as could be expected, Lise.”

“I see? And how is the rest of your unit?”

“Everyone’s about the same as always – Boomer playing peacemaker and big brother, Mel keeping everyone’s spirits up, Arcas being the voice of conscience. Honestly, Lise, things haven’t changed much for us since the last time we talked.”

“That was right before you left for your current tour of duty, right? It was – correct me if I’m wrong – about five months ago, right?”

“That’s correct. If I may, may I ask why the 82nd’s been brought back?”

“As opposed to, say, the 17th, who are due back here in two weeks?”

“Yes.”

“Well, Sevasti, I won’t lie to you. The reasons that the 82nd has been recalled out of all the squadrons are very convoluted, and have political complexities that you and I can spend all night discussing and STILL wouldn’t be half done, but the simple, short answer is this: the 82nd has the necessary skills, firepower, and contacts within the Tripartite to accomplish the tasks ahead.”

“And that’s all I need to know about that?”

“For now. If more comes up, then I’ll call the whole 82nd in here to talk about it.”

“Lise, you know Arcas isn’t going to be happy about that if it happens – him and his whole ‘why didn’t you tell us before?’ routine.”

“If that happens, then I’LL deal with Arcas. Besides, that boy needs to learn that there’re times when you have to trust the judgment of those above you. Speaking of which, how’s he doing on that with regards to you?”

Sevasti sighed. “Kid’s still fighting me a great deal of the time – saying the I’m only thinking of completing the mission, and not about what our actions could mean for the other people involved.”

“And that bothers you?”

“A lot. The kid needs to understand that you can’t always end up in a win-win situation for everyone. Sooner or later, someone has to lose.”

“But you know that he is right, and that’s what really irks you about him; that there usually is a better way,” Lise responded.

“A better way is not necessarily a more practical one – the best ways are only the best because they are hard.”

Lise nodded and sighed. “True. So I gather that Boomer’s peacemaking skills have been getting use?”

“Almost as much as his sniping skills – I think one thing the entire squad can agree on is that without him, we might fall apart.”

“It seems to me, Sevasti, that the entire 82nd is that way. The four of you work together very well, and that is because of the unique combination of personalities that constitutes your unit. Take one away, and the 82nd is lesser for it.”

“I’m sorry to break your train of thought, Lise, but we need to get back to the topic at hand?”

“Which is?”

“Why US?”

“Yes, of course. Well, I did give you the short answer, but I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to go into a little detail. First, the 82nd was recalled based upon the recommendation of Parliament’s RAF Board. That recommendation, however, was influenced by the input of Lady Carim of the Saint Church, who has friends in all three portions of the Tripartite. The TSAB and GDI are in trouble, so it’s up to Secretariat to take up the cases they’re missing. Now, when Carim came to us, she had a list of names compiled from the Church’s Trinity leaders. And while your name was not on that list, the name of your XO was.”

“Hm. So he was right.”

Lise looked puzzled. “Who was?”

“Arcas. He thought that this might be the reason we were called back.”

“Yes, but there’s more to it than that. You know of the Rabbi Policy?”

The Rabbi Policy. Instituted not long after the creation of the RAF, the Policy appointed a Parliament Councilmember as the superior and Secretariat contact for each RAF Squadron. It was meant as a way for squadrons to be protected against the political changes in Secretariat, as well as a general source of information for both sides.

“Yes, what of it?”

“Well, all the Rabbis of the squadrons out in the Black were hollering for a shot at this. And as you know –”

“My squadron has fewer people and less experience than most of the others out there.”

“That’s correct. But what you do have is: two legendary Devices, a renowned tactician, a highly competent sniper, and an XO who is friends with a great many people in both the Bureau and the GDI.”

Sevasti frowned. “So you’re telling me that we only got this because of Arcas?”

“No, but he is a rather large part of it.”

“Can’t be helped, I suppose.”

“I suppose.”

A long pause ensued; Sevasti finally broke the silence.

“Anything else you might have for me?”

“Well, the 82nd isn’t set to be on active duty for another two or three days, so I’d suggest getting caught up on anything before things start moving.”

“Understood, we’ll get on that right away.” With that, Sevasti left the chair and headed for the door. Just about as he was to turn the handle, Lise called from behind him.

“Sevasti.” The Phantasm looked at her over his shoulder.

“Yes?”

“About Arcas – does he have any idea about what he is? I mean, has he shown any interest in – you know?”

“He has no idea, Lise. Absolutely none.”

“You’re sure.”

“Yes.”

And with that, the Phantasm slipped out the door and headed to his motorcycle.

A Dunamist… who’d have ever thought that they survived the war?

With that, the Major mounted his bike and sped off into the Mid-Childian night.

She whispered those words right into my ear, with a gentleness I’ve never heard from her before. The lilt in her voice… it nearly brought me to my knees.

“But…”

I dreaded that word… whatever she wanted, it always meant trouble.

“I want you to do something for me…”

Here we go…

“I demand a rematch.”

At those words we both pushed each other away, grabbing our respective weapons, and preparing our battle stances. I could feel a smile coming on, as she did, anticipating our next moves.

“CUT!!!!!”

And with that unwelcome cry we were interrupted by the arrival of the 79th’s very own Dynamic Duo: Smith and Wesson.

“Dudes, what are you doing?”

“Aren’t you two supposed to be making out or something after that scene?!”

“Glock you wuss!”

Both Kay and I hung our heads in shame at these two… Kay could only utter something like “Teme”. At the very least, I’ve known them to act in such a manner.

The knights waited in anticipation, staring at the empty HD television while fiddling with their fingers and hair. Their chief, a senior-ranked Belkan Knight, also stared at the screen in utmost attention, occasionally correcting his thick-framed eyeglasses.

“Now, to begin our briefing.”

The screen was turned on. In an instant all eyes were glued on the HD television. It took seconds before a video footage of two young girls breaking through Belkan knights’ resistance. Everyone stared at the intriguing-looking girls in feverish interest; some even whispered to one another regarding their rising level of fascination towards the girl.

“As you can see from the video footages,” the senior spoke. “Those girls, named Aura and Freya, frequently elude our capture and treat we Knights as if they want to play with us. They are notoriously infamous for disrupting each and every operation we conducted.” He clenched his fist and murmured “those girls… what do they expect of us? Saying words like oniichan and ojiichan in times of crisis…”

He coughed. “Knights, I would like each and every one of you to study these girls’ techniques. This way, we might learn something or two from it.”

Again, the knights turned their attention to the footages. The girls were seen giggling as they outwitted a group of knights and evaded projectiles fired from Mid-Childan counterparts. The male knights would ogle at the girls and their “special service” and their female colleagues would give them a friendly reminder with their murderous gaze and caused them to behave.

“Does anyone of us know who or what they are?” one knight (who was surprisingly immune to such “fan service”) asked.

The senior shook his head. “Nobody knows exactly for sure who they really are or where they actually come from, apart from the Narulia magic system they use that may indicate their Narulian origin,” he answered.

“Narulia? But I thought the magic system is already extinct for 450 years.” It was Frieda, and she was accompanied by Takeru as she attended the meeting. “As far as I am concerned, nobody knows the exact mechanism of the system these days.”

“That is correct, Paladin Frieda,” the senior spoke. “Now, I would like to show something.”

Another video footage took place. This time, the knights were surprised when they saw a robotic tiger materializing from out of nowhere and protected Aura and Freya from particle cannons. The beast, then, pounced at the knights, savagely attacking them. “The beast you’re seeing now is Poseidon, a Lost Logia. Like the girls, we know nothing of its existence or who actually operates it.”

The other knights began discussing the matter seriously. Occasionally some of them would resume watching the video and silently rooting for the twin girls before their female colleagues healthily reminded them with a well-aimed karate chop on the head.

“As far as this Order is concerned, Aura, Freya and Poseidon are classified as an S-rank enemy, and the possibility of them to inflict major damage to this organization will be high,” the senior uttered. “At such, we cannot allow their activity to continue and we will do anything to make sure they know who they’re really dealing with.”

The screen turned off. The room was lit up, and the senior knight turned around to face his subordinates. “Do you understand?” he spoke. “These cute girls… ahem, subjects, are highly dangerous and must not be taken lightly. It is our role as the honoured Belkan Knights to prevent them from inflicting more troubles.” Then he spoke in low, barely audible voice. “Though they are girls… twins, on top of that…”

“That’s about it,” the senior ended the briefing. “Dismissed.”

The knights saluted their senior officer and left the briefing room. Frieda and Takeru also followed their lead before they were summoned back into the room. “Yes, senior?” the female gunslinger asked.

The senior knight coughed and approached Frieda; instinctively Takeru reacted by standing between them, feverishly protecting his maternal guardian. “Step aside, Takeru. I must talk to Paladin Frieda; it is important.” Takeru did not bulge and summoned Silberkugel as his answer. “So, you gunslinger knight is asking for trouble,” he murmured and withdrew his rapier.

Frieda chuckled and gave Takeru an affectionate pat on the head. “Takeru, let me talk with him,” she said with a smile. “It would be very long.”

“…yes, Miss Frieda.”

Obediently Takeru stepped back as to allow Frieda approach the senior. “Forgive Takeru’s persistence, senior,” she apologized. “He still has a lot to learn about the protocol.”

“I can see that.” The senior corrected his eyeglasses and coughed a couple of times. “Paladin Frieda, I know this would sound outrageously straightforward, but… could you do a favour and investigate them?”

Frieda giggled. “Oh, dear. You ask me to do is to know more about them and the Lost Logia isn’t it?” Takeru was looking up at her, intrigued by what she was talking of. “Sure. Besides I would like to meet Aura and Freya up close.”

“You must be very careful, Paladin Frieda,” the senior reminded. “The girls are to be treated as an enemy with high-levelled risk ranking. One fatal mistake and your days will not be numbered anymore. Do not underestimate them.”

“What are you talking about, senior?” So saying she activated Beowulf and holstered the Gunblade over her shoulder. “If there’s anything I’d like to do, it’s pampering young children. Let’s go, Takeru.”

“Y-yes, Miss Frieda.”

The Belkan gunslingers excused themselves and left the senior knight. The lone person watched at them who slowly began to disappear and looked down at documents of their profile he held. He nodded.

“Silent Bullet… what do you have to show us?”

This is what I get for being distracted from this monster of a thread.

I'll probably be spending lots of time working through the entire thread again, since I realized, from flipping through the more recent pages, that I've forgotten all the little nuances and histories of the characters. (Also, so many OCs seem to have Tragic Pasts...)

Somewhat amusingly, I had independently thought of the ideas for, respectively, a body/gender switch short (inspired from the Curry episode from Revolutionary Girl Utena), as well as an age-messing short (inspired from the latest few volumes of the English-translated Negima manga), before I wandered back to this thread and saw Tais's and Kha's adventures in the same.

Time: 2030 MST

Major Sevasti Secastan walked along the halls of Parliament, seeking the private chambers of his – and the 82nd’s – immediate superior: Councilwoman Lise Johns.

It’ll be good to see Lise again, Sevasti mused. Even though there’s not much for us to catch up on… the 82nd had only been halfway into the tour when we received the recall order.

Approaching a now familiar intersection, Sevasti turned left, heading along the old corridors of wood and tile. Anyone with sense knew that the hall’s appearance was merely an illusion: the modern materials used to craft Parliament had only been given the appearance of a time long past.

Sevasti proceeded halfway down the hall, then turned right, facing a set of old-style doors that bore Lise John’s nameplate. The Phantasm grasped the handles, and pushed inwards, moving into the outer office.

At the desk to the left of the doors sat Johns’ secretary, Natsuki. She looked up from her work and smiled at the Major, waving him through.

“She’s been expecting you. Go on, don’t keep her waiting.”

Sevasti then proceeded on and into the inner office. Johns was sitting in the chair behind her desk. Another similar chair had been pulled up in front of it from a corner of the room.

“It’s good to see you again, Sevasti. Please sit down.”

The Phantasm made himself comfortable, and then Lise continued.

“So, how have things been out in the Black?”

The Black. The term all RAFers used for the wide galaxy that they claimed as their home. Johns had been part of the RAF once – she spent the better portion of a decade out there, serving first as part of the 33rd Squadron, and then as the XO of the famous “Fighting 17th” Squadron. From there, she went on to become part of Parliament, where she had spent eight years of her life, and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Sevasti shrugged. “About as normal as could be expected, Councilwo-”

Lise stopped him with an upraised hand. “Sevasti, we’re friends. How many times must I insist that you call me Lise and not Councilwoman Johns?”

“Do you insist, milady?” Sevasti asked, a smirk briefly playing over his features.

Lise returned the smirk. “I do.”

“Very well, then. It appears I have no choice. As I was saying earlier, everything is about as normal as could be expected, Lise.”

“I see? And how is the rest of your unit?”

“Everyone’s about the same as always – Boomer playing peacemaker and big brother, Mel keeping everyone’s spirits up, Arcas being the voice of conscience. Honestly, Lise, things haven’t changed much for us since the last time we talked.”

“That was right before you left for your current tour of duty, right? It was – correct me if I’m wrong – about five months ago, right?”

“That’s correct. If I may, may I ask why the 82nd’s been brought back?”

“As opposed to, say, the 17th, who are due back here in two weeks?”

“Yes.”

“Well, Sevasti, I won’t lie to you. The reasons that the 82nd has been recalled out of all the squadrons are very convoluted, and have political complexities that you and I can spend all night discussing and STILL wouldn’t be half done, but the simple, short answer is this: the 82nd has the necessary skills, firepower, and contacts within the Tripartite to accomplish the tasks ahead.”

“And that’s all I need to know about that?”

“For now. If more comes up, then I’ll call the whole 82nd in here to talk about it.”

“Lise, you know Arcas isn’t going to be happy about that if it happens – him and his whole ‘why didn’t you tell us before?’ routine.”

“If that happens, then I’LL deal with Arcas. Besides, that boy needs to learn that there’re times when you have to trust the judgment of those above you. Speaking of which, how’s he doing on that with regards to you?”

Sevasti sighed. “Kid’s still fighting me a great deal of the time – saying the I’m only thinking of completing the mission, and not about what our actions could mean for the other people involved.”

“And that bothers you?”

“A lot. The kid needs to understand that you can’t always end up in a win-win situation for everyone. Sooner or later, someone has to lose.”

“But you know that he is right, and that’s what really irks you about him; that there usually is a better way,” Lise responded.

“A better way is not necessarily a more practical one – the best ways are only the best because they are hard.”

Lise nodded and sighed. “True. So I gather that Boomer’s peacemaking skills have been getting use?”

“Almost as much as his sniping skills – I think one thing the entire squad can agree on is that without him, we might fall apart.”

“It seems to me, Sevasti, that the entire 82nd is that way. The four of you work together very well, and that is because of the unique combination of personalities that constitutes your unit. Take one away, and the 82nd is lesser for it.”

“I’m sorry to break your train of thought, Lise, but we need to get back to the topic at hand?”

“Which is?”

“Why US?”

“Yes, of course. Well, I did give you the short answer, but I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to go into a little detail. First, the 82nd was recalled based upon the recommendation of Parliament’s RAF Board. That recommendation, however, was influenced by the input of Lady Carim of the Saint Church, who has friends in all three portions of the Tripartite. The TSAB and GDI are in trouble, so it’s up to Secretariat to take up the cases they’re missing. Now, when Carim came to us, she had a list of names compiled from the Church’s Trinity leaders. And while your name was not on that list, the name of your XO was.”

“Hm. So he was right.”

Lise looked puzzled. “Who was?”

“Arcas. He thought that this might be the reason we were called back.”

“Yes, but there’s more to it than that. You know of the Rabbi Policy?”

The Rabbi Policy. Instituted not long after the creation of the RAF, the Policy appointed a Parliament Councilmember as the superior and Secretariat contact for each RAF Squadron. It was meant as a way for squadrons to be protected against the political changes in Secretariat, as well as a general source of information for both sides.

“Yes, what of it?”

“Well, all the Rabbis of the squadrons out in the Black were hollering for a shot at this. And as you know –”

“My squadron has fewer people and less experience than most of the others out there.”

“That’s correct. But what you do have is: two legendary Devices, a renowned tactician, a highly competent sniper, and an XO who is friends with a great many people in both the Bureau and the GDI.”

Sevasti frowned. “So you’re telling me that we only got this because of Arcas?”

“No, but he is a rather large part of it.”

“Can’t be helped, I suppose.”

“I suppose.”

A long pause ensued; Sevasti finally broke the silence.

“Anything else you might have for me?”

“Well, the 82nd isn’t set to be on active duty for another two or three days, so I’d suggest getting caught up on anything before things start moving.”

“Understood, we’ll get on that right away.” With that, Sevasti left the chair and headed for the door. Just about as he was to turn the handle, Lise called from behind him.

“Sevasti.” The Phantasm looked at her over his shoulder.

“Yes?”

“About Arcas – does he have any idea about what he is? I mean, has he shown any interest in – you know?”

“He has no idea, Lise. Absolutely none.”

“You’re sure.”

“Yes.”

And with that, the Phantasm slipped out the door and headed to his motorcycle.

With that, the Major mounted his bike and sped off into the Mid-Childian night.

Rabbi Policy works like something that keeps military independent of politics deshou? Interesting thought... Oh and there might be a little problem with the Tripartite idea. I'm worried that canon might reveal that the 3 Legendary Admirals are in charge of the entire of Ordered Space; if that's the case, I would have to completely overhaul the sociopolitical model of the fanon universe like I did for Kha early in the thread, but this time it'll affect your guys as well. If nothing's wrong, I'll keep the status quo and life goes on, but I'm just notifying you of the potential changes I might have to make.

I REALLY need to get back to making more CrosyS, but I'm just not catching fire...

The screen was turned on. In an instant all eyes were glued on the HD television. It took seconds before a video footage of two young girls breaking through Belkan knights’ resistance. Everyone stared at the intriguing-looking girls in feverish interest; some even whispered to one another regarding their rising level of fascination towards the girl.

“As you can see from the video footages,” the senior spoke. “Those girls, named Aura and Freya, frequently elude our capture and treat we Knights as if they want to play with us. They are notoriously infamous for disrupting each and every operation we conducted.” He clenched his fist and murmured “those girls… what do they expect of us? Saying words like oniichan and ojiichan in times of crisis…”

He coughed. “Knights, I would like each and every one of you to study these girls’ techniques. This way, we might learn something or two from it.”

Again, the knights turned their attention to the footages. The girls were seen giggling as they outwitted a group of knights and evaded projectiles fired from Mid-Childan counterparts. The male knights would ogle at the girls and their “special service” and their female colleagues would give them a friendly reminder with their murderous gaze and caused them to behave.

“Does anyone of us know who or what they are?” one knight (who was surprisingly immune to such “fan service”) asked.

The senior shook his head. “Nobody knows exactly for sure who they really are or where they actually come from, apart from the Narulia magic system they use that may indicate their Narulian origin,” he answered.

“Narulia? But I thought the magic system is already extinct for 450 years.” It was Frieda, and she was accompanied by Takeru as she attended the meeting. “As far as I am concerned, nobody knows the exact mechanism of the system these days.”

“That is correct, Paladin Frieda,” the senior spoke. “Now, I would like to show something.”

Another video footage took place. This time, the knights were surprised when they saw a robotic tiger materializing from out of nowhere and protected Aura and Freya from particle cannons. The beast, then, pounced at the knights, savagely attacking them. “The beast you’re seeing now is Poseidon, a Lost Logia. Like the girls, we know nothing of its existence or who actually operates it.”

The other knights began discussing the matter seriously. Occasionally some of them would resume watching the video and silently rooting for the twin girls before their female colleagues healthily reminded them with a well-aimed karate chop on the head.

“As far as this Order is concerned, Aura, Freya and Poseidon are classified as an S-rank enemy, and the possibility of them to inflict major damage to this organization will be high,” the senior uttered. “At such, we cannot allow their activity to continue and we will do anything to make sure they know who they’re really dealing with.”

The screen turned off. The room was lit up, and the senior knight turned around to face his subordinates. “Do you understand?” he spoke. “These cute girls… ahem, subjects, are highly dangerous and must not be taken lightly. It is our role as the honoured Belkan Knights to prevent them from inflicting more troubles.” Then he spoke in low, barely audible voice. “Though they are girls… twins, on top of that…”

“That’s about it,” the senior ended the briefing. “Dismissed.”

The knights saluted their senior officer and left the briefing room. Frieda and Takeru also followed their lead before they were summoned back into the room. “Yes, senior?” the female gunslinger asked.

The senior knight coughed and approached Frieda; instinctively Takeru reacted by standing between them, feverishly protecting his maternal guardian. “Step aside, Takeru. I must talk to Paladin Frieda; it is important.” Takeru did not bulge and summoned Silberkugel as his answer. “So, you gunslinger knight is asking for trouble,” he murmured and withdrew his rapier.

Frieda chuckled and gave Takeru an affectionate pat on the head. “Takeru, let me talk with him,” she said with a smile. “It would be very long.”

“…yes, Miss Frieda.”

Obediently Takeru stepped back as to allow Frieda approach the senior. “Forgive Takeru’s persistence, senior,” she apologized. “He still has a lot to learn about the protocol.”

“I can see that.” The senior corrected his eyeglasses and coughed a couple of times. “Paladin Frieda, I know this would sound outrageously straightforward, but… could you do a favour and investigate them?”

Frieda giggled. “Oh, dear. You ask me to do is to know more about them and the Lost Logia isn’t it?” Takeru was looking up at her, intrigued by what she was talking of. “Sure. Besides I would like to meet Aura and Freya up close.”

“You must be very careful, Paladin Frieda,” the senior reminded. “The girls are to be treated as an enemy with high-levelled risk ranking. One fatal mistake and your days will not be numbered anymore. Do not underestimate them.”

“What are you talking about, senior?” So saying she activated Beowulf and holstered the Gunblade over her shoulder. “If there’s anything I’d like to do, it’s pampering young children. Let’s go, Takeru.”

“Y-yes, Miss Frieda.”

The Belkan gunslingers excused themselves and left the senior knight. The lone person watched at them who slowly began to disappear and looked down at documents of their profile he held. He nodded.

“Silent Bullet… what do you have to show us?”

Possible voice actors:

I don't know to be appalled at which: the Twins for having such audacity and cuteness, or that this detachment of Regional Guard or Velka Knights are nothing but "Rorikon" .

But I expected a pair of straight-faced individuals from their photo; this certainly turned that expectation on its head. Looks like Kha's got someone else to test his shields on other than Serge. AND watch LineBackers antics on the side.

What's the Meganneko in mind? More additions to the orphanage? And I vote for Aura and Aria glomping Takeru and not letting go as a means of defeating him!

Somewhat amusingly, I had independently thought of the ideas for, respectively, a body/gender switch short (inspired from the Curry episode from Revolutionary Girl Utena), as well as an age-messing short (inspired from the latest few volumes of the English-translated Negima manga), before I wandered back to this thread and saw Tais's and Kha's adventures in the same.

I did that when my superiors told us that we had to train the nubs to spin rifles in 4 months, but from experience it takes a year to perfect that.

Clearing my throat, I broke the silence, “Well, that’s about it. I might be staying here for a day or two before going back to the facility to rework my design on the new equipment.”

I felt a drastic change in atmosphere at the moment I mentioned ‘new equipment.’ Wait, I’ve felt this before… I looked at Keroko apprehensively.

Crap! She only calls me that nowadays whenever she-

I planted my face on my right palm with a big sigh if defeat. Why is it harder to say “No” to them when they are no longer children? In addition, just WHY are they acting like this when they are already young adults? Am I losing it? Ah well, I guess it’s forgivable. Just look at her. Like a kid who’s been given the best birthday present. I guess we can continue the discussion now.

“Anyway, before I go back, I would like to use some of the facilities here for some training. I need to exercise a bit.”

“No, you musn’t.”

“Huh?”

Nanoha was suddenly looking at me with that stern instructor’s glare. What’s going on?

“After what you’ve been through… Aurion-san… Oji-chan...”

If it’s Nanoha calling me that, that means-

Her tone and stare made me gulp involuntarily. Yup, she’s a top class instructor, alright.

“NO! You told me to stop stressing myself too much eight years ago, but what are you doing now?”

“You’ll get yourself killed!”

She was glowering cutely at me right now. Honestly, this girl. She’s actually scarier when she’s worried about you. The cuteness somehow amplifies the impact.

“Nanoha, I’m perfectly fine!”

“I’ll see to it myself! Let’s go to the clinic, Oji-chan!”

She went behind me and started pushing me towards the facility.

“Now wait a second, Nanoha! Listen to me! Whoa!”

“I’ll listen when we get there!”

“Hey, everyone! Don’t just stand there! Do something!”

It took a while, but we were somehow able to calm Nanoha down to avoid the unneeded medical check-up. It actually included Raising Heart asking if she was needed to set up!

Geez. Why do my ‘nieces’ aside from Hayate get weird when they call me Oji-chan? No wait, maybe just Nanoha and Keroko. Fate is still definitely normal.

My hand automatically sought out Fate’s head and gave it a pat. Don’t start copying these two, all right? Fate looked up at me with a strange expression. Huh?

“…Oji-chan…”

I felt my body stiffen when she mentioned that. The others all paused to watch. Taking a deep breath, I replied, “What is it, Fate?”

“… Well… It’s just… Uhmm…” She looked slightly nervous but determined nonetheless.

What’s going on? Don’t tell me you’ve been infected too! What are you going to do? Ask me to help you with paperwork?!

“How did you get Bardiche to speak with you using four sentences this time?”

For the first time in several years, I wanted to drop facedown on the floor.

“Fate… I don’t know. Why don’t you ask him?”

Maybe no one noticed? I for one, forgot about it. Thanks for bringing it up!

Btw, now that you've pointed it out, I realized that AO said that that skill drained a lot of mana, so since she technically isn't close to Fate, and wasn't ordered by Serge, I'm not too surprised at the lack of altruism in this sense.

Another sidenote:

While I believe medicinal mages have the imaging goggles for such magic circuit surgery work, I don't think paramedics have it (inferring from Terran paramedics at least), so in a way Fate's pretty lucky that Kha's both a doctor and an imaging device in one such that he could fix it on the spot.

However, when he goes back and see the same hooker he gives the money to still working there, he brutally beats them up and breaks every single finger to calm himself down.

- He's not weak towards alcohol, being able to drink when needed to as part of his work, but whenever he starts to get drunk, his character pulls A TOTAL 180. He turns very very social, to extents where people gets freaked out by it. Very few knows of it, and it never spread out beyond those few because...

- He's got a special book that specifically list down all the threat-worthy/bad-gossip material things of every "mildly important individual" he's met. Like how he once got Yuuno drunk and learned that he once slept and bathed together with Nanoha...stuff that would get the Air Force rookies ferret-crazy. Some are not even considered threat-worthy, but he keeps something for everyone anyway.
