Considering he has been cold sleep, I think it's more like he has malnutrition.
And the mask has a meaning... wow.
But 3 times the speed? It's overused.

But he has the best Char kick though.

The battles of Age-2 are very satisfying, almost Unicorn like. But Asem is on his back yet again, thanks to Zeheart's KICK OF POWER. I guess Double Bullet is indeed the Age System's answer to the Zeydra "three times the speed" performance.

If the Galettes are X-rounder pseudo-brothers, then the phenomena probably genetic. It's great that the mask has now performance purpose in this show and even has a penalty when removed.

In the triangle side, Asem haven't even met Romari in the ship and Alice had already slapped his bottom.

My favorite episode for Age-2 thus far!

- red truly means 3x faster
- 3x (Zeydra) vs 3x (Age-2 Strider) = WOW
- What's sad is that I didn't like its animation. It's like Sinanju vs Unicorn DM with not that good animation this time.
- ZEYDRA KICK!! Where did that effect came from? Anyway, I LOVE IT!! It looks very Kamen Riderish!
- Arisa, the ass slapper!
- The return of beam saber / beam rifle
- I didn't like Zeydra's beam rifle sound effect. But as least it's not as bad as M1 Astray's.
- Desil is now an adult devil. I wish him a cheap death like what Trunks did to Freeza.
- I'm definitely liking Asemu more now.
- Zeydra's chest cannon vs Hyper DODS Rifle is similar to SF's chest cannon vs Destiny's cannon. I just hope that it won't end up as a stock footage as well.

Power of the mask/shades, not only does it make you look cool, you gain a massive power up.
The battle was nicely done, like how AGE-2 was swapping between wave rider and combat.

Wow. Just wow. This episode was truly amazing.

To be honest, I've never really loved AGE. The first generation was disappointing, and in the second generation things started to get interesting. But this episode really blew me away. I'm hooked. This is definitely my favourite episode of AGE so far. The whole fight-between-friends storyline was great, but the highlight of the episode has got to be the Zeydra vs AGE-2 Normal battle. Wow. I was glued to the screen. In fact, I'd go as far to say that it's probably one of my favourite Gundam battles ever. This episode blows the previous 19 ones out of the water - in my opinion it's the only episode in AGE so far worth a re-watch. Wow. I'm still amazed right here. If this is any indication of how AGE is progressing, I'm pretty satisfied.

I especially love the fact that they explained quite a few things, which is atypical of AGE. The use of Zeheart's mask to limit the X-Rounders' performance, why the Vagan wanted the AGE system, etc.

Also - was I the only one rooting for Zeheart? The Zeydra kicked so much ass right there. This is probably the first time in the entire series the Gundam - AGE-1 or AGE-2 - was defeated so badly. Can't wait to get the HG kit. So many unexpected features - the Nadleeh-esque beam bayonet, (I guess it's a nod to Tieria right there! Go Tieria!) the crazy ass kick, and the chest cannon.

Anyway, I caught Desil saying red was such a conspicuous colour. I guess it explains the black on the Khronos! And the AGE-1 returns next episode!

EDIT: Just re-watched the preview - was that the AGE-1 shooting at the AGE-2?

I think so too. Possibly a AGE Gundam Battle, with Flit winning, maybe. That would be cool.

@LightningZERO I also think so, since it's unlikely that they are going to destroy the titular suit of the show only two episodes in lol beside, previews are hardly accurate. Anyone remember the preview for episode 18 and how off the mark the speculation was for it? XD

As for this episode ... WOW. Now this is the AGE I saw glimpses of every now and then during the past generation. There isn't a moment wasted, every key scene had a strong impact and the action, music and voice acting was top notch. Really, even though that they had hit the fast forward button on this Generation for the most part of the intro, I thought that the battle between Zehear tand Asem carried as much of a meaning as any rival battle (if not more) in past Gundam shows. Zeheart going over kill with the Inazuma kick when a good old Char kick would've done the trick got a bit of chuckle out of me but for the most part? My head was glued to the screen and I was tense as hell over how great it was.

Ah, but he meet his dear Zeheart :P Do remember that this is more like a square now (lol) so yeah ... Man, people were complaining about how Yurin was like a shipping magnet, but so far Asem is wooing every person he meets

Best episode so far

- Zeydra entry is almost similar to Full Frontal Sinanju in Episode 2
- Decil is Zeheart older bro
- Age-2 Strider mode catching up the speed of Zeydra
- Zeydra's chest cannon vs Hyper DODS Rifle is similar to SF's chest cannon vs Destiny's cannon
- Zeydra Kick is so Kamen riderish
- double beam blade battle is so badass
- like the confrontation conversation between Zeheart & Asemu

Fantastic episode, like most of the forum-goers so far has noticed. What this episode differs from the others in AGE is the insight provided into Zeheart's character and I like what the guy is made of. A man of action and honor, exactly what this story needs: a strong villain that can be taken seriously.

Epic battle. 3x faster and Char kick has been overdone (mainly due to Unicorn), but it couldn't wipe the smile from my face because the fight was so kickass. Night and day compared to the first arc.
