Although I love this episode there were some things that wished to show.
I give it a perfect point for Nagisa's Bombshell announcement and Akio and Tomoya in-law discussion. That was the most that was expecting this is season.

Hoping for a wedding wouldn't be... Practical, given the fact that Tomoya's job doesn't pay much, and Nagisa is technically just out of school. As many folks in the previous episode discussion mentioned, the court wedding was the best that they could hope for, BUT they did leave open the possibility of a 'formal' ceremony later when they had the money (like my own folks did, albeit VERY belatedly).

Tooooooooo faaaaast! Is what I'd like to say but, I'm not going to complain too much since I was in the "They need to be more intimate" camp. Still some transition would have been nice. You go from "haven't kissed" to "OMG" off screen in one ep lol. The pace seems to be a bit wierd though, since there's still Akio and Sanae's route. I wonder what KyoAni's going to do with the extra eps. Also, I'm glad to see they finally added in one of Nagisa's bombshell announcments! The one in this ep should have been the 3rd or 4th one but the others were cut.

Yeah and, NAGISA IS SO DAMN CUTE! I'm gona die haha.

a) The night when Nagisa said she wanted a baby
b) The night when Tomoya got angry about things changing in the town
c) The first night they start living together (ie. at the end of the first scene)
d) Some other time

It's just the same thing as Dan wearing a pink karate gi. It's supposed to make us go, "Oh god, he is ridiculous!", but the characters themselves are so confident in their manliness they don't care.

Actually, Nagisa's parents are my two favorite characters in this show.

This one episode covers at least a year it seems. Watching the references to the seasons, it seems to be about the same as when they held the graduation and getting there marriage filed. As the show is progressing, the episodes are covering larger blocks of time.

To all those hoping for a wedding ceremony or anything like it, just look at what they're having right at the start of the episode. That's an expensive takeaway sushi set meant for either 1. rich people, all the time or 2. the rest, when they have special occasions.

So there you have it, the interim celebration. Also, Tomoya himself said that they'd only do the actual one when they've saved enough.

The series was never really about being overt in this regard, read between the lines.

A few months. The episode begins in mid-spring and ends at the start of summer.

Next episode should cover all of summer until late late fall.

I was worried they would take out the scene of the resturant where the place Tomoya used to remember. That part of things chaning was really impoarant to me, I'm glad it was kept. Some really great scenes that made the episode really humerous. It was alos nice to see Nagisa is full waitress uniform. It wasn't a Higurashi referance I don't think it is the same uniform from the game. They are many family resurants that use host in their name like Royal Host. But maybe the throat scratching was ^-^ I thought it as soon as they did it. Akio's glasses said Gurren Lagan to I was disapointed to not see a wedding after those images we saw before, made me get my hopes up LOL XD.
