Akabayashi is pretty awesome in this show/arc.

Not only that but we get some drug dealers as part of the story development. Wasn't entirely expecting that as it has a slight more mature theme.

Excellent! We got an Akabayashi centered episode with him being a complete badass finally animated.

So you know how one of the themes of this show is how even the most seemingly unrelated set of people can be connected to another other? This episode is one of biggest examples of that in this show. Never would I have consider that to entirely different people like Anri and Akabayashi would have such history together. It's always one of these kind of moments where this show shines.

Anyway since Akabayashi is member of Dollars and essentially Anri's guardian it's only a matter of time until he meets Mikado so that's something to look forward to. Especially with this new drug dealing group that's mincing Dollars' methods of communication.

Oh and Akane... I don't think a kid should be saying that...

Guess it runs in the blood after all.

That was a good episode, Akabayashi's backstory was great to know, he so awesome.

One thing you gotta love about DRRR is how even the most unlikely characters are connected through some unusual circumstances.

Akabayashi was badass and the fact that he is investigating the dollars means he will no doubt run into Mikado soon.

Akabayashi is your friendly neighborhood Yakuza. Hurting girls ans selling drugs is bad.

Akane you are so adorable. To think this the little goody girl that stands up to bullies protecting the bullied.

Sadly she warped by Izaya into thinking Shizuo is a danger to her family. Shizuo and Celty not being normal does not help. She realizes she is as of now small fish. Thus she wants to be stronger.

Other than the fact her family is Yakuza it would be interesting if she grows up to be little miss badass normal to the underground and supernatural world of Ikebukuro.

Lots of interesting stuff going on.
Dealing with the drug dealers.
Everything surrounding Akabayashi.
Good episode, different.

Akabayashi is a really awesome dude. I enjoyed finding out about his backstory. Never expected him to have history with the Sonoharas.

It wasn't related to the mafia at all; instead it was something personal—that he loved Anri's mother, even despite being claimed by Saika, and he vowed to protect the Sonoharas from the "dark of the night". Too bad for Heaven's Slave, they'll face the wrath of someone with a will so unbreakable that Saika cowered in fear.

By the way, was that building also the same building where Vorona was using as a hideout?
Well anyway, we'll soon find out why Vorona's now working in Simon's sushi bar.

More like as Sayaka said Saika was shock.

Saika is Yandere for humanity. Hell Saika was Shizuo's stalker and he had to firmly say No.

Shizuo is up next ep and he has to deal with the rumors Izaya spread. Like he has a girlfriend... He has a daughter... I think we know where this is going.
