Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!
While this series has not yet been licensed we have received a C&D from Kadokawa Pictures USA, we therefore won't be listing fansubs of this series here on AnimeSuki anymore.
Please note that Kadokawa are acting on the behalf of the Japanese IP owners, Kadokawa Pictures USA themselves do not license such series but act as a master licensor, a middle-man who sells on the license to (typically) American anime companies. Ahh I just found out something
There's also a manga thats based on the light novel that started serialization on April 2006 in the seinen(young men's) novel magazine Dengeki hp. Dengeki hp is a magazine for young men that serializes light novels, but it seems that Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! manga that started on April 2006 in this magazine is the only manga thats serialized in it at the moment ( well, its a seinen novel magazine and not a seinen manga magazine :P ).

By the way, everyone... as you can see on the website's character page, the male lead's not actually "doll-sized"...
Edit: I'm presuming they use that on the covers to illustrate his lowly status in comparison to hers as the sort of campus queen/"royalty". |

WOWOW's site for the anime has opened:
http://www.wowow.co.jp/anime/mamoru/ I want to clear some stuff up in this post, since I don't want anyone asking these questions later: first of all Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! is a light novel thats published under the seinen light novel label Dengeki Bunko and for now there are 8 volumes released of this light novel. A short story light novel called Mamoru-kun ni Bangaihen de Shukufuku wo! is published under the same seinen light novel label Dengeki Bunko and for now there are 2 volumes released of it. A manga thats based on the original light novel is serialized in the seinen novel magazine Dengeki hp (which is a magazine that serializes light novels for young men, but it seems that this is the only manga thats serialized in it), and it started recently serializing in the magazine so no volumes out of this manga yet.

Since I succceeded in capturing a 30 second commercial of Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! while recording The Third, I've upped it here.
Takahashi Mikako doing a tsundere character gives me Hantsuki vibes, though 24 eps is a lot to digest.

Thankees for the trailer eggplant, +rep incoming and stuff The green-haired boy is in fact rather short, so those pictures are pretty much spot on with him looking tiny.
edit: Any more detailed info on air date? I'm quite looking forward to this one, and 'Autumn' is kinda vague, being as it encompasses 3 entire months. |
