I think Central Anime's is the best. But SubSmith's is really good too.

I watch every show three times. First I watch live on KeyholeTV, then I watch Subsmith, and then Central Anime. Central Anime is the keeper, but Subsmith is good and very fast.

I wish I could find raws with the commercials intact. There is something neat about watching TV with commercials.

I'm very biased towards Central Anime (LoGH ftw!), but then again, that's a given since they practically 'cheat' by actually paying good money to a professional to do the translations for them. (No offense to SubSmith's translators, though)

That said, I watched more of SubSmith's, as I stopped watching the anime with CA's subs by the 25th episode or so. I mean, a 24-48 hour turnaround time at maybe 90-95% of the quality? So not worth the second viewing (actually more importantly, the HDD space) for me, when I have already scoured the manga at least 10 times over for shippy clues, and we all know how the anime is faithful to the original.

That's actually something I've ended up doing for different reasons. Whenever an anime episode finish I end up reading the manga from the point the anime left off till the last available chapter. I've since lost count of how many times I've read Cross Game's last segment.

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't go to manga thread.
I think manga is coming to its final in 2 more chapters.
A lot of people there are discussing about how great manga-ka Adachi is.
I can't wait to see the scene animate.

Manga coming to it's final in two more chapters? Does that mean we'll see all of it animated? Interesting.

I should also add, you do need to have upgraded to 3.6 (which you should have done anyway).

I usually avoid reading these forums for reasons unknown, but I just have to say this piece.

I haven't watched any anime for several months, yet I always pestered myself off-and-on that I need to get back to watching Cross Game. I stopped at episode 20. Just this week I've powered on through to ep 41 and about to start 42. I've loved Adachi's stuff ever since I first picked up H2 and I just want to say that I don't want this to end

Loving it way too much!

I personally stick with Central Anime long-term, but Subsmith is the quickest and their translations are usually acceptable though occasionally I find some grammar/spelling mistakes.

This episode is the best episode for at least the past 2 months. Although the story wasn't as compact as the manga, man did it feel good when Miki steps on the field and that BG plays, that one and kou's theme are some really well written tracks. Also the way the faces are drawn.. just divine.

I think they will follow how manga ends.
(Since they show this pic in the ED too... )

It's the cover of the very late chapter in the manga.

So... we are back to baseball land. This episode was quite decent, but next episode should be much better with Seishu facing their first hurdle in the tournament. A clash of power vs strategy: next episode should be quite interesting.

Quite the enjoyable episode. Loved everything from poking fun at Senda's name to Risa and Miki's reappearance to Kou's "You like the clever type more?"
