Death The Kid! He's badass, yet hilarious at the same time. When I first started watching I thought he'd be another sullen emo character (like Sasuke or something), but he totally isn't. He makes the series for me.

^Duno,I just started watching series but Death Kid annoys me to no end with his symethry -_-

To almost die and fail just because something isn't symetrical? Please....

Anyway for me at the moment my faves are Medusa and Stein.

From this list, I'd say definitely Black*Star for one thing, always thinking he's above everyone and works hard to make sure he's not just talk at the very end. He's definitely one of the strongest characters around. Mifune is my second favorite. He's the first person I've seen from any anime using more than 3 swords at the same time. Zolo from One Piece has nothing on him, and the fact he's able to combat a demon blade on his own makes him all the more badass. Death The Kid is my other favorite. He's powerful, but I like his emo fits whenever something's out of place even more. The exam scene where he passed out made my day. Stein is just mad, and he's the best technician I've seen so far along with Sid. Maka and Sou lget honorable mentions

This is a tough decision. There aren't really any characters that I have too much dislike for. Soul is really cool because of how music plays a big part in how his Soul works with Maka's. He's the character I can relate to the most. I like how Black*Star is a character that can be taken really seriously, even though his bits are often humourus. He's probably my second favorite, next to Soul. I really like Mifune because of the motives behind what he does. He's easily one of the strongest characters around, and he chooses to act as a guardian. Next is probably Stein. I like the role he plays in the side of the manga that focuses more on the adult characters. Sid and Marie are also pretty tight. Sid is a zombie, which is awesome. Marie has her great moments. Death the Kid is pretty great for his freak-outs. Medusa's plotting is crafty. Every character (except maybe Blair, Excalibur, and a few others) plays an important role, so I could come up with a reason each one of them is special to me. Rockin' series.

Haha I know, he seems to be the most popular is Soul Eater

Heh it seems that I just can't love the most popular characters. Even in Bleach I hate them

She sure is! She is the main reason why I started to watch Soul Eater in first place

I just saw some cool pics with her and then checked several vids with her... so yeh, if not Medusa I wouldn't be here

I like her character and all those vectors around her

Stein also is a lot of fun.

Most likely triggered from his own impossibly high standards to surpass his father, but thats only an assumption because we haven't really been given a clarification on that fact. Or any backstory whatsoever :< hurry up Ohkubo.

I think it's the fact that he's got OCD that makes him interesting. I wouldn't have liked it if Shinigami's son, the son of the most unique and possibly strongest character in the series was a perfect mini-me of his father's old self. That's what makes SE so good imo. Everyone has their little defect or contradiction, like Kid and OCD, Black Star being a complete show off despite the fact he's a ninja, Maka being the super model student who doesn't follow any set rule when out on the field and just tends to do her own thing, and the list goes on.

Just to let you know "Patti" is the official spelling.

I like Free best but due to his limited appearances in Soul Eater. I also have a fondness for many of the other characters. There is no one in Soul Eater that I do not like!

Out of the main trio. Black Star is the current fave, followed by Maka and then Kid. Soul is my fave weapon, closely followed by Spirit, Tezca Tlipoca and Patti!

My favorite character is Medusa. She's very cunning.

But I also like Death the Kid. His OCD about symmetry is incredibly amusing, and he's just a pretty cool character in general.
