Ok I’ve calmed down a bit. I complain a lot about Delta but the characters have grown onto me, so even though the show disappoints I still get excited every Sunday. But todays episode was really intense. Here's my summary:
Spoiler:
I lost all of my sympathy with Heinz now |

An episode that opened up some new plot points through character development. I'm wondering why now...especially since we are near the end of the series.
All that is happening right now, character stories, all the evens that characters are part of...it'd be great if this was mid series episode rather then an 'near ending' one. I can't help but feel significantly underwhelmed. All in all, that was a solid episode. Props for using GouldFighter 9000

1.So they spend 3 episodes to just let Roid capture Mikumo then retreat, that just wasting time.
2.Not sure what's the point suddenly adding subplot(like Mirage and Hermann's rival) when there is only 2 episodes left, if they want to do this, they should do it in mid season, and now it's too late, it will be so rushed. |

Chaos couldn't be more incompetent. Or rather the staff are incompetent. What's the point of retreating now? They should have built this up to the final. Now we're in for a rushed ending no matter how you look at it.

I'll more than likely rate this episode once next week's airs because it's a cliffhanger this week and so much is unanswered...
Spoiler for :
EDIT: Oh yes, Spoiler for VF-22:

Thats why i have been pointing out why FreyjaxHayate is hard because her life is too short. Not saying that MiraHaya will win, but most likely big chance for "no one will win" kind of ending.
From what i suspect maybe when a Windamere gets too seriously for one thing and the rune is active, he can actually use up his life force which shortens his life even faster. MOST LIKELY THE EPILOGUE WILL GO LIKE THIS--> After knowing Mirage love for Hayate, Freyja decided to give up because of her short life. She wishes the happiness of Mirage & Hayate, and dedicated her life into singing as a walkure for the peace and happiness of the universe until the very end of her life. Freyja will become a legend, the end. A new macross series born after that and a new singer follow the footstep of ALL macross series legends which include Freyja in there.

No offense but if shippers are relying on HayateMirage happening thanks to Freyja's sacrifice or death, that really says a lot about what you consider your "ship potential" and not in a positive way.
This is giving me Frontier flashbacks with Ranka shippers saying Ranka would win because Sheryl was dying. Plus this isn't even taking Hayate's feelings into consideration at all. Let's say Freyja dies, Hayate is still under no obligation to return Mirage's feelings. Anyway, just my two cents. |

I liked the episode even if it was slow and a bit boring without subs at the beginning.
Berger helped Xaos, but is it just me or did they changed his voice actor? Ok, I understand keeping the VF-22 and even repair it to be a reminder of what happened, but having it fully loaded? come on! but hey, thanks to that Arad finally did something again, and it just took him 18 episodes. Can someone kill Bogue already? he's really annoying and doesn't have any redeeming qualities, also the new rivalry between Herman and Mirage has potencial, too bad they didn't started it earlier, it could have been really good. Poor Mikumo, being forced to do anything just by saying a phrase, poor Freyja that white mark is not a good sign, but more importantly MAKINA!! please survive Quote:
So just two more episodes, they wasted so much time in the second cour that it's no wonder why the final episodes feel rushed, I really doubt there'll be a second season, maybe a movie, but if that's the case personally I think Delta would benefit more from a retelling movie so they can get rid of the filler, fix some details and tell the story of Delta (which is good in itself) properly than from a follow-up movie, but we'll see.
