faster anime to the masses

the concept from animeonly.tv is planing to expend across the danish borders and start streaming anime. After Disney began streaming normal cartoons (though AOTV did teststreaming beforehand) the interest have reached such a high level that some of the big japanese boys in the anime industy have hired an 'internet ambassador' who is wacthing though there 'coprightnightmare' to make it more fluent for stream selling so AOTV can start getting more animes faster when they are ready for it. ... when it is on and done it won't cost people a single dime (expect if you want it streamed from a 2mbit instead of the basic 512kbit) and it will hopefully in the near future when money and contacts with the japanese guys is set, be a free commercial-based (roughly two minutes per ep) on-demand streamer with a new episode each day in at least danish and english ... even with anime that the fansub community haven't gotten the chance to play with

Link to english version or properly translated version of the Japanese taking interest in this please. Nothing about what you say makes any sense when compared with the past behavior of the Japanese companies or US companies.

This has been discussed before in various forums.

1.) People still want a physical copy of a show, not just a license to view it.
2.) The economics of TV animation and itunes are different.

well ... might be a bit hard to come up with 'proberly translated part' ... that part is more or less taken word for word from the newsletter on danish that the owner of the channel throws around ... the protect aren't 'selling anime to the masses getting bloody rich on the way' ... its more like 'showing anime to the masses getting paid for adding commercials' theres a slight diffence.

yeah ... people would still want a physical copy ... but that aren't no problem for the channel since it is free (unless you want the monster connection that is) ... the point of the channel is mainly to get anime to the masses and those not interested in anime beforehand, because the national TV shows shit at best and else nothing

DaFool ... where does itunes get into the picture? ...

the whole point is that when the whole system (moneywise and the steady surply of anime) then interested indutries buy shares in a anime show that airs on the stream with commercials from the said indutries in the beginning ... only money getting in is indutries paying for new anime and people buying the monster connection (which bluntly is only for those that want the creme de le creme) ... only money going out is for new anime, and maintaince of the servers ... and salaries (which aren't that higher than normal saleries)
